This car doesn’t need carbon ceramic brakes. The standard brakes for this car are great and more than capable in stopping the car. The optional steel high performance brakes, fitted under my B5, are better but not really necessary. In fact Alpina has tested the different options available and they confirmed that the steel brakes performed better than carbon ceramic brakes on this car. If you experienced some movement under braking it may have been caused by the softer dampening compared to your M5
Ich hoffe du hast den Vorführwagen mit Respekt behandelt. Ich finde es schade das so teure Autos ohne Aufsicht von BMW abgegeben werden. Ich habe ihn gekauft und das Video erst jetzt entdeckt.
Natürlich wurde der mit respekt behandelt. 102 nachgetankt , kalt warm gefahren habe ihn sogar noch per Hand gewaschen vor der Abgabe. Finde es schade, dass egal wie man es macht und was man macht immer jemand was auszusetzen hat.
@Dirk Bolz Was erwartet man wenn man für mächtig Rabatt einen Vorführer kauft? Wer nicht will, dass jemand vorher im Auto saß und einen TESTER ausführlich getestet hat, muss halt tiefer ins Sparschwein greifen und sich einen Neuwagen holen. Ansonsten sollte man sich besser nicht beschweren. Ein Vorführ-Porsche wird sicher bei Tests und Probefahrten auch nicht auf seine Windschlüpfrigkeit bei 100 km/h hinter einem Bus getestet. Also mal schön durch die Hose atmen und entspannt bleiben.
Its about reliability and stability mostly, M could go to the 330, but it wouldnt be as good as Alpina at that speed, really. So its a safety thing more than anything
German Autobahn is best for German drivers, going 250 isn't special for us and we certainly don't do "race starts" from the hard shoulder (mad cow or what?!)

Die ganze Zeit Lichthupe kannst du dir echt sparen. Dann such dir halt ne bessere Zeit um die Videos zu machen. Das ist halt immer noch ne Autobahn und nicht dein Drehort. Keiner im Video ist scheiße rausgezogen ohne zu gucken. Immer vorsorglich Lichthupe geben ist ne richtig beschissene Aktion.

At the first brake from 317 it was a little bit loose but the second one from 330 was completely fine!
