Car Audio Fabrication - Master Car Audio - Design, Build, Install Авто/Мото
Nothing beats the warm sound of Focals. Have a set of the ES series in my car.
I went with Focal on my last build, flax cones and beryllium tweeters. Zero regrets, they just don't make bad products.
Focal is great. I love my 3 way component system. Their 6.5" flax provides excellent midbass for its size and power range. I may get a second one though.
Imagine the audio system/systems you can make with $7800
I have a full Pioneer setup in my mustang I did for just over $1000 but every enthusiast has their over the top things
Not to be rude... But Pioneer may sound ok to you... but for some people, sound is just very important. And for those... pioneer just aint gonna cut it.
They have some good Headunits, but Speaker wise... i have never been impressed by any of their speakers compared to anythign in the same price range.
I love me some Focal 🥳
Focal and JL audio are the only two brands I keep going back to in my vehicles
So Porsche peeps get to pay more for a damn suitcase lol. I'll take a Furd all day!
lol keep your furd I’m sure it sounds just as good
I agree. Not sure the $7000 set is worth it but I can attest their mid-range set sounds clearer and sharper than my high end $1000 set of JL C6 set and even better than the C7s. The Focals gave me buyer’s remorse. I wish I would have know about them before I did my system. I can only imagine what improvements you get as you move up there product line up. There is a huge difference in sound quality as you move through JL speaker line up from the C2, C3, C6 and C7 as with most speaker companies.
Top two, JL Audio and Focal.
I agree, I will only use JL and focal in my vehicles
Eh, JL makes decent subs and amps, but for the price they charge, you can get matching or superior performance elsewhere. Build quality and appearance definitely sways consumer minds, but just because something looks well built and well designed, doesn't mean the end result is better than the alternative.
@@johnnygeorgopoulos4072 Ive had 500+ dollar components in my car.. also 150 dollar ones.. yes the 500 dollar speakers are a bit nicer.. but in the end ur better off spending the extra 350 on a amp/door insulation/installation.. a 500 dollar setup makes for a bit better sound.. and double the price of a audio upgrade.... 150 dollar speakers sound better with 350 dollars amp/insulation than 500 dollar speakers sound without it. But if i jus got a new porsche.. i would probably be swayed to spend 2k more on these.. its not that much then.
Looks like they make these kits for my 2023 Pathfinder.. sweet
can you do a video on special design considerations for a sound system for a convertible car. what you would do different as opposed to a hardtop
I have two pairs of the flax speaker sets shown in this video, also have focal evo 80 studio monitors and the bathy’s bluetooth headphones, I’ve used about every brand of car/and home audio out there and I think focal makes great sounding products
I want to connect my 2 sets of component speakers to my 4 channel amp. And a powered subwoofer from head unit NOT TO THE AMPLIFIER. so the head unit will plug into amplifier and powered sub will plug into the subwoofer into the sub on the head unit and it's own power source to each. Will that work should right?
Please I'm really really need your support ! How can I make the right box for my subwoofer ?? I have 2 soundqubed HDX3 12 inch
I have a question why do my door speakers are really low compared to my subs in low volume but when turned up it evens out I will like it to be even from bottom to top
reminds me of my diamond audio d971 components i still have the speakers and case.. i'm about to sell them haha
Of course people can have their own opinions, but if you've ever gone Focal, you'll never go to anything else.
Funnily enough, we metric folk still tend to use inches when it comes to speakers for some reason
I'm surprised to see such small magnets, hope they are neodymium, also do they expect them to get powered by the stock amp/headunit? Almost disappointing
Not that I have a Porsche to complain, or the cash for a focal set, but it's still a bummer that you can probably buy the similar focal set for cheaper +an amplifier and it will still sound louder and possibly the same quality
Judging a driver by its magnet size is what all these flea market brands that claim "160 oz cOmPeTiOn gRaDe magnet" want you to do. It's neodymium, there are likely interference issues in the OEM position requiring a small motor design, and it's also an 8" cone so it looks smaller than it is.
Almost 8k for 7 speakers they better bring the singer to my passenger seat 😅
You see the price on them bad boys!! And of course they don't make anything for my car😢 I never seem to have a car that people make things for like kick pods or A pillar pods
Fancy
Install the speakers and then toss the case into the landfill. Way to go Focal.
The baffles that hold the speakers are removable. I know I'd keep it. 😁
@@CarAudioFabrication I know I'd keep as well, but then again, I literally have every box from every higher end electronic, audio component, PC component, headphones, bookshelf speakers, cell phones, ECT hidden away inside a spare room.... just for the off chance I want to resell anything and want to keep everything together as I purchased it... and if I had a 992 GT3 Touring with a 6spd manual in Sepia Brown over Cohiba Exclusive Manufaktur leather, I'd definitely be buying these Focals for easy fitment along with probably one SI BM-11 sub in a very small fiberglass enclosure in the rear, covered in the same leather 👌😅 (but I'm broke, so I'll stick with my 97 GMC RCSB K1500 with Infinity Kappas and a single Sundown SA8v3 until I gather enough to rebuild for a full SQ build inside with a mix of Dayton, Morel, Zapco, and Stereo Integrity.... you can devise what goes where, but definitely SI for sub in center console area, not the same as above, 10" or dual 8's in fiberglass on the doors, 8's in the rear in fiberglass, and a mixture of 3 way mids through highs ending with Planar/AMT drivers... should be decent 😅)
The only focal item I have is a t-shirt... given to me by a friend that has their 6.5 drivers....they are WAY outside of my budget.
I love your vids. But that product is overkill don’t you think? I do.
A valuable lesson I've learned running this channel is not everything is for everyone. And that's ok... In my eyes someone enjoying a $10,000 set of speakers and having a smile on their face is just as cool as someone enjoying a $100 set. Put it this way: Can I afford a 911? Nope. But I still think they are awesome and I'm glad that guys that CAN afford them get to enjoy such an amazing machine, even if it's only driven on the road and not on the track 99% of the time.
7800$? do they come with a 911?
1:24 scale?
Focal are great, but cut the cost, and package in a regular box.
they are expensive because Focal has done half of the work for you by making them w/the brackets to direct fit in the stock location. and they are limited edition pieces for a Porsche...so Porsche tax included.
Who else is riding around with no door panels to show off these bad boys??!!!???
These are cool as heck, but lets be real, most of the work of a good sounding speaker happens outside the driver itself, so I just cant imagine even they're $700 set is all that worth it, let alone a $7000 set. Not that this is positioned to be a "value" product anyway obviously, but still it feels like looking at Guuci shirts, I would bet everything I own you can find something that sounds as good at a fraction of the price.
A good speaker takes less tuning to get proper sound staging. Can you get decent sound out of cheaper speaker? Sure, but you need a lot more equalization to do so.
My Auditor kit was made in china :(
Does saying F Oh Call ,, make them sound better than just reading Focal like it says on the box ?? or do you just feel better about it.
It is pronounced that way...go on their website it literally shows you that
@@melissathompson7229 Its not written that way .... but if they are sponsoring the video as he said , best to sing off their sheet ,,, next.
It's literally how it's pronounced, but thanks for the judgment.
It’s a French manufacturer so that’s how it is pronounced.
@@tomthompson7400 Focal aren’t priced for everyone I guess. Some people think their Jensons sound good.
Fancy pantsy
Very posh
Porsche gets a leather suitcase, Ford gets a cardboard box. If that’s not class segregation, I don’t know what is 🤦♂️😆
Porsche also comes with trophy spouse.
Nothing for GM
Maybe their market research hasn't determined it's worth it yet? If it's something you'd like to see let them know!
Probably wouldn’t spend that much on speakers but if you wanna do a trial installation you’re welcome to try on my Taycan 😂. Gotta fly to Hawaii though 😜
Send Joe Rogan one, he's a Porsche guy.
They should've named them the dripping with pretentiousness kit.
You can spend all the money you want on these speakers, but if you don't spend the money to prep the entire vehicle fully, it's just a waste of money.
I wonder how many Porsche owners gonna buy these super easy to install kits and pay an installer 😂 🤦♂️
😂😂
this or an exhaust system. I think you can get an exhaust for about $3k-$4k, so that's where I would put my money...
