I’ve seen a lot of comments on other videos about how Lindsey loves Stevie and she tossed him aside, but this was a few years before that and we never know what really happens behind closed doors…but to the people who say it’s all an act, sure, the “Landslide” kisses are the act…but this is Stevie Nicks, singing a song with a man who’s been in her life since 12th grade and she’s 73 now, and those tears are real. She’d just lost her mother, and there was Lindsey, talking about the past and saying goodbye, and her emotions got the better of her that night. This man is one of her great loves, and that’s not fake.
They kill each other with their songs. This is a beautiful song. Tragic, you can stay in love with someone & not ever be together for the rest of your lives.

Lindsey fell in love with her the very first time they met in high school. Through struggles and drama in the band, touring, song writing and two very strong heads about the ways things should be done, from the business standpoint over the years it took a toll and it was over. She moved on as did Lindsey, but I don't think he's ever gotten over it. Just think how long it took for him to write that song, hold it back for a few more years, then finally let it loose. It was finally over, and for Stevie - a finality - eloquently written and sung to her. She likely struggles with it more than she'll ever admit. Lindsey will go to his grave with a piece of that memory in eternity.
Its so sad, sad love story. Love is an action not feelings. These two have to be honest with each other feelings, before they are gone and they are not young anymore. Who knows what is going to happen,, carrying deep torch will only hurt you.

I think its good for people to cry in public. Now in my 70s, I still shed tears when the flag goes up. As a Viet Nam vet, I know so well that crying is most definitely not a show of weakness or cowardice. The last time I cried was about 20 seconds ago. If a man can't cry upon losing a brother in battle, then he's not a man, at least not in my book.

How can you not continue to love someone that you loved so dearly and had dreams of spending your life with. It was hard to hear what he was saying, but I think he talked about illusions and how you have to let go of them sometimes. They are important to dream so that they can propel you in some way, but if you continue living all of your life by them they can also make you sick. Of course they love each other yet they know they could not have survived as man and wife with the life of rock stardom. I think she realized that first. She never wanted to hurt Lindsay. He was the love of her life, yet being so close to him inside of the life they chose was very painful. Part of what makes Fleetwood Mac so attractive and compelling is their real life stories that fuel amazing talents within the band. It is like the inside of an engine when the gas hits and compresses with the air and then the spark happens, then.....the explosion.
Makes you want to slow things down a bit, appreciate more and fight hardest for those you love most. These two always share a moment on stage.... so many years and memories... it's unforgettable.

I don’t blame Stevie for having a hard time performing with Lindsey. Half of their songs are about each other and his are so sad like “go your own way” “say goodbye” “never going back again” . On stage, it’s all friendly and then she goes home and they go about their lives separately. Very emotionally challenging to do this year in / year out for 50 plus years, even though it’s been over and everyone moved on. Love never dies and She needed a break. They’ll reunite again and perform . Soon maybe

Whoever says terrible things about Stevie and Lindsey are not true fans and certainly not from the beginning. They've come to know them through their parents' music. We all know their public stories and trials and tribulations. We don't know their private stories which are none of anyone's business. Judgement has no place here. Neither does the disrespect which just reveals those who say those things as trivial, foolish, and immature. I would never write these harsh things about anyone, much less publicly, and much less about them, Stevie and Lindsey, but of course, I'm one of the old folks. They have given the world so much music and so much enjoyment as we "grew up" with them as they "grew up" with us. Respect is nice. If you focus and appreciate their immeasurable talents as musicians, songwriters, performers and enjoy their music, you will have no room in your mind for harsh thoughts and in turn no harsh words.

Whoever says terrible things about Stevie and Lindsey are not true fans and certainly not from the beginning. They've come to know them through their parents' music. We all know their public stories and trials and tribulations. We don't know their private stories which are none of anyone's business.
Judgement has no place here. Neither does the disrespect which just reveals those who say those things as trivial, foolish, and immature. I would never write these harsh things about anyone, much less publicly, and much less about them, Stevie and Lindsey, but of course, I'm one of the old folks. They have given the world so much music and so much enjoyment as we "grew up" with them as they "grew up" with us. Respect is nice. If you focus and appreciate their immeasurable talents as musicians, songwriters, performers and enjoy their music, you will have no room in your mind for harsh thoughts and in turn no harsh words.
They are both complicated and complex human beings. But they went through a lot since they were kids. That is a very tough thing to leave behind. Just memories, good and bad
