@@sfridisow185 I'm sure Oda knew about the Napoleonic wars, and i'm fairly certain he had a rough idea of what Big Mom's powers would be. As 3 of her 4 special "homies" are from greek mythology, namely Zeus Hera and Prometheus. But 1 of them is named after Napoleon who's directly tied to those wars, as he lost them and in the story Napoleon and Big Mom eventually lost to Law. We all know Apoo was leaking information to kaido and was one of the reasons why the Hawkins and kid pirates failed to beat kaido but I think I know why he did it. Pirates just generally want a lot of recognition and a lot of power and apoo wasn't exactly recognized as a feared pirate before the time skip. We saw law, kid, Drake, and several others who showed their might and earned their reputation. However with Apoo he really wasn't feared and while he's easy going he must have been tired over being in the shadow over guys like law and Luffy. He saw the enormous strength of kaido and his crew and wanted to make his mark as a feared pirate and that's why he betrayed his "allies" this is old news I'm sure but I kinda just want to see if my theory is accurate.
Apoo was ALWAYS in Kaido's crew, even before the time skip and that's VERY obvious in the chapters and anime ep of him talking about 'not making his boss mad'
@eggward I don't remember the exact chapter but it was in sabaody, around when Kizaru showed up. Yeah. It was the same ch or a bit above chs after Kizaru's arival
Yea sorry to break down the theory but Apoo was since his introduction an informant or really (a member of Kaido's crew) plus he doesn't give a damn about recognition, he's an opportunistic son of a gun that's all.
The supernovas are such an obvious idea i am still surprised oda didnt have an idea like it planned before. Of course there should be plenty of other pirates rising up from the four seas and crossing the grand line at the same time as Luffy. It felt so natural.
I mean the existence of them makes sense , Luffy definitely wasn't the only one inspired to head out to sea because of Rodger and the fact there's places Luffy didn't go to on his route actually kinda leaves side stories for other super nova's after the manga ends or goes on Hiatus eventually.
Opening credits episode 1: "Gold Roger, the King of the Pirates, attained everything this world has to offer. And so, many men head for the Grand Line"
The concept was there from the start, but the work of conceptualizing, animating, giving back story and future goals to new unique characters is all extra. Its obvious and implied from the start, but with most manga not running for 20+ years its difficult to actually implement such long story threads safely. Introducing and trying to explore so many characters was a gambled risk that ended up paying off dividends. If the community or editors wouldn't have reacted well to it. One piece could have ended instead of doing a time skip. As a reader it seems so obvious, but as a writer it's a major decision with major risks. Wasting chapters that could have been spent forwarding the main plot, only to be canceled before getting back on track. It happens pretty often in the industry. The fact one piece has been produced for so long is a monumental achievement and unique. Not everybody with a story to tell gets to have it produced.
Basil Hawkins -He the most underwhelming member of Worst Generation, and I don't see him showing up again in the story as he was implied as dead. Capone Bege -I just feel like his story and purpose is complete. I don't think he has anything more to offer but I see him appearing in the main story one more time. Apoo -As an informant, there's a possibility that he might join the Blackbeard Pirates, although less likely because he'll be seen weak by Blackbeard, and Cross Guild which is highly likely to happen as their organization works as a bounty hunters so information is important. Plus, Cross Guild need to hire and recruit some strong and heavy hitters on their organization if they want to rival the likes of Straw Hat Pirates, Blackbeard Pirates, and Red Hair Pirates as the only one they can really rely on is Mihawk and Crocodile. X-Drake -With the mysterious shadow shrouding the SWORD organization, I think he'll appear in the future and play an important supporting role with this plot alongside with Coby and others. Urouge -He'll be an important character in the future, I guarantee it. There's so much to look forward to him because there's a possibility he might join the Blackbeard Pirates as his personality and traits is similar to them. He can also be an important player when the time comes Enel will descend in the blue sea and we'll get to know more about their origins and the moon. Jewelry Bonney -Now, this is a guaranteed important character of the story. Her character revolves around important plots in the story. She can be an ally to the Straw Hats, highly possible to join the revolutionary army, an enemy of the world government despite being a noble. I feel like she'll play an important role, especially, to the goal of the revolutionary army. Killer -I hope he's dead. Don't get me wrong I like his character but I don't think he can give anything interesting in the story anymore aside from being an inspiration of Kid if he's really dead. Eustass Kid -There's a chance that he's still alive. And if he does, it will be an interesting story as to what he's gonna do next as he is in the territory of the Red Hair Pirates and he can't do anything as Kid Pirates was annihilated and pretty much disbanded. Will he join the Red Hair Pirated and give up his dream? I think this will be a good plot, seeing him with his crushed dream. Or will he plan another "Onigashima" with just himself? lol. Trafalgar D. Water Law -He's definitely alive and his crew is still alive eventhough their ship was destroyed. I don't see his character being dead as he had the D and his dream is significantly relevant and important in the story. Plus, his devil fruit is also relevant to all big figures in the One Piece. Over all, his character is so relevant and significant to be left dead.
The picture in the background dropping at the mention of Basil Hawkins is such perfect comedic timing for the hilariously disappointing existence that he occupies.
Hawkins is that guy who's always getting into arguments on Twitter he knows nothing about but still acts superior. Oda hit him with a FAT "L+ratio+you fell off"
Law, Bege, Killer, and Kid are some of my favorite characters in the whole series, and Bonney is growing on me very quickly with the new developments in the series. The fact that these characters, as well as some critical side antagonists for the previous arc were designed in less than half of a typical work day, blows my mind. Yeah, I know he didn't have everything laid out for each of them and just made their character designs in that instant, but WOW.
Hello! As a Captain Kid enjoyer, would you be so kind to explain why? He does nothing except yell and argue, has 0 depth to his character, and is impulsive, arrogant and dumb as bricks, with his actions and devil fruit power use. Luffy is also impulsive and makes stupid conclusions and decisions, but his emotional intelligence is by far the highest of any character in the series, and beyond. I find Kid and Killer so annoying that I cried tears of joy when they got totally annihilated. Even Oda went out of his way to stomp them with a so so enjoyable one shot.
@ErgoDoodle That's why I enjoy him. He shows the audience what Luffy would be like with only ambition and without his principles. He got a higher bounty than Luffy when we first meet him, but he's not on Luffy's level in terms of capability, meaning he got that bounty not by just being defiant, but by being cruel to those weaker than him. Seeing Kid get stomped is often cathartic. He serves the story wonderfully in this way. His relationship with Killer is one of the only slightly redeeming things about him, and it reminds us that even though some characters in One Piece are incredibly despicable, they're still people. Killer is a bad person, too, but he too was subjected to a horrible fate that still makes people who read about what happened to him wince, even if they don't like him. When I say they're some of my favorites, I'm not saying they're admirable or endearing, I'm saying I love what they bring to the overall story.
@@ergodoodle1951 because he’s pretty much just Luffy but 75% meaner and has a cool DF so his interactions make a nice parallel to how luffy could have been
Kidd also shows some levels of maturity. He is probably the most similar character to Luffy in whole story in terms of temperament, but they have vastly different approaches to people and viewpoints. He's chaotic evil where Luffy would be chaotic good. It's just that he got about as much spotlight as Drake so far, while also being made to be more important.
@Nihili I would also never say he does nothing but yell and argue. He was instrumental in everything that went down in Wano, and the outcome would have been completely different without him. He also seems to be a man of his word, since I can recall him being betrayed, but can't recall any instance of him doublecrossing anyone. He saw both alliances he was in through. He even refused Kaido's offer to serve him, even though it would have put him in a more advantageous situation as opposed to being a prisoner slave.
I never see anyone mention this about the Black beard vs Law fight, Law is a surgeon and the more he fights his opponents the more information he gets regarding their biology. No matter how hard Blackbeard won that battle, he lost t he war because now the guy with the worst fruit to know about your secrets, most likely has the most intimate knowledge of your biology now out of anybody in the current one piece world.
I actually like scratch man apoo. There's something about his moral ambiguity that makes him so interesting. He's also fought an admiral, his supernova counterparts, and CP0 agents, and still lives to tell the tale. That's something special.
I would like a series following Zoro as a cop. I imagine Zoro getting lost and accidentally finding the criminals until he's given the title "Best Detective in the World." But really, he failed upwards like Buggy.
I believe Oda should select at least 8 writers that he trusts the vision of and then have each of them select a member of the worst generation and then they are in charge of creating the manga of the storyline of that character. So their story gets added to the lore of one piece and gives everyone a cool side story for the main manga.
Oda went hard on Law's backstory. Yes it was to flesh out the Dress Rosa arc but to this day both Law and Corazon are very big favourites. Also imagine the chaos if Scratchman Apoo gets into Cross Guild.
One thing I do want to add to the "talent and genius" of Oda. It could also be just him unconsciously doing skills he developed for a long time. Oda had been on One Piece for a long time, sharpening up his skills with every chapter.
2:02 NINE characters in 3 hours, before deadline is scary good. Like holy crap, creating a fanfic oc takes longer than that. Not to look down on the importance of an oc to it's creator, but this is related to his work, his literal source of income, that will be made public to a mob of fandom. That takes balls and skill... if you ever tried to write a story with the intent to go professional, you'll get how good Oda is. Remember that each character is unique, it's not a copy-pasted harem anime waifu that you can find en masse.
Great editing, especially towards the end there. I really enjoyed this one. I think it’s a common misconception that all the members of the worst generation are after the One Piece. They’re not. It’s just that they were all infamous and all came up around the same time as Luffy did Either that, or they’re all like Luffy, where they have no interest in the treasure itself, but rather they have individual aspirations that they believe the One Piece can help them achieve
I still believe in the Law stocks but I will say I always wanted a spinoff series with Law and Chopper. Have them run an underground pirate hospital similar to Scrubs.
I remember one time many years ago B.D.A. law said that he believes all the worst generation will jointly go to Laugh tale. From that day I really wanted these hooligans to get lost.
Hawkins still stings a little. I had such high hopes of a Dressrosa style turn around but the further we got the more it was painfully obvious that Luffy could never get along with him since he treated friend and foe like objects. I hope he isn't gone for good though he's probably still one of my favorite characters in the post-time skip world.
On the one hand he's implied to be dead, but on the other.... This in One Piece. Until we see his body in pieces or official burial, we will never be sure.
I really like hawkins story. I’m not happy that he didn’t do much, but it worked. A man blinded by predicted fates who couldn’t imagine that breaking free of fate was possible. He looses his pride by submitting to Kaido, choosing life. Knowing that he’s going to die he chooses to continue on his track of fate because he won’t betray his pride a second time, he accepts his consequences and realizes fate isn’t set in stone.
@@nihili4196 he's really dead, he won't come back. He saw in his cards that he only had 1% survival in onigashima, and didn't predict his arm being cut off
I think people are counting Bonney out too soon. Yes, she's completely out of the running for Pirate King, but she could very well end up on the *crew* of the next Pirate King. Yes, I'm getting in on the "Bonney for next Straw Hat" action.
Can I just say? When one piece ends I kinda want these guys to all have there own manga. We would probably get a lot of hype, it would be amazing. They would be so fun
man don’t you just love it when you make a video and immediately after you get some incredibly important information that directly impacts the video you make and you can’t even cover it bc the video is finished
I wonder if we'd ever get a spin off based on the other members if the worst generation after the main series has concluded it would be nice ti see the journey from their perspective
as mysterious as the mad monk is, I think his story end came as swiftly as Bonney's did... When Kaido was introduced, Uroge was just sitting on a sky island recovering from a battle himself watching Kaido jump off the sky island, and since then we haven't seen him at all, maybe he just quietly left to start his shady business, deciding piracy wasn't in his cards afterall.
do you think that like shanks and black beard, luffy and buggy will lead to the defeat of two other worst generation members in the near future? it would be kind of funny if urouge shows up after all this time and it seems like he's going to have some big battle with the straw hats and then the next panel his ship is just on the bottom of the ocean
I really like the concept of the Super Novas though considering it’s the death of a star and they would be the down fall of the “Celestials” and now the Gorosei are all potentially named after planets which would pretty dope foreshadowing!!!
The Supernovas are a prime example of how not everything needs to be a big grand scheme. All you need to do is lay a good foundation and build upon it over time, add flavor and depth, give them a role to play, and in time they will fit right in and add something great to the overall story thatnever would have been there had they not existed. Not just the supernovas, but the Sabaody arc in general really gave us a look into how much bigger and more interconnected the whole world of One Piece is. The cruelty of the world government was brought down to earth, ironically, by the introduction of the celestial dragons. Their willingness to use cruelty and underhanded means was already established in Enies Lobby, when we learned of the existence of Cipher Pol and the tragedy of Ohara, but the celestial dragons made it clear that their cruelty extended to the common, innocent masses who did nothing wrong, cruelty in the form of not only condoning the tyranny of the world nobles, but enforcing it.
What’s funny is…during Law and Kid’s fight against Big Mom, it was all about The Worst Generation and New Pirates coming along and toppling the old, but in the end…The Four Emperors killed The Worst Generation. I hate to say it, but symbolically…killing Kaidou and Big Mom kind of meant nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Apoo in cross guild actually sounds like fun. If we do get a cross guild vs strawhat fight in the future ( which I feel will happen for zoro vs mihawk)we can finally get the apoo vs brook fight we missed the opportunity for in wano.
In all honesty, we're at endgame now. We can't keep using the cope mechanism of "some role to play in the future". This is most definitely the end of both the Kid Pirates and the Heart Pirates but someone on the staff forced Oda to make Law and Bepo survive for the sake of popularity and merch money. What's a guarantee is that their lives as pirates are over, if we ever see Law again it will be in some humorous cover story having a completely new lifestyle.
Well Kid is just resting up, I don't think Shanks would kill him and it's not like Oda to outright kill off characters. I hope they join the Strawhats in some capacity.
@@quesocoatl21 He is not resting up, unlike Law and his crew the narrator box flat out said that they were destroyed. Not beaten, not defeated or suffered a serious loss but destroyed. That has never happened before highlighting that this was the first time we've actually witnessed the death of an entire pirate crew.
I cannot believe that they thought without 11 Supernova, Sabaody arc would be boring. Like, even without them, the arc has so much things happened and each is interesting enough
As someone who was never really a fan of Kidd, I'm glad he's more or less finished in the eyes of fans with trying to be the Pirate King, much less becoming a Yonko. I mean, I can't be the only One Piece fan who actually laughed out loud when Shanks one-shot not just him, but his ship as well as his entire crew. Law meanwhile has a chance to at least bounce back and become a begrudging ally of Luffy once again. Either way, I'm so excited for what comes next in the story, but it feels like something CRAZY is about to happen. Also, love your passion for and coverage of anything One Piece related Liam. Awesome video as always!
Don't do my boy Kid that dirty, dude came that far being a giant magnet when it's competition had a literal god form as a fruit and a guy who can create an area in which he can play in creative mode
I was really hoping Kid and Law would be serious contenders for the pirate king title right up till the end honestly. I kinda wanted the final arc to be a fight for the top between worst generation members, with Kid, Law, Luffy and Blackbeard being the final 4 real contenders. That being said, the current group of Luffy, Blackbeard, Shanks and Buggy does include Buggy so that's pretty good as well. As long as Oda delivers on some good Buggy moments I'll forgive him for what he did to my boy Kid.
Same. I was hoping all three crews would develop this rivalry/allay relationship, and threeway battle would get that much more emotional. But it seems both are out
What if the worst gen (minus BB) just become a new member of the straw hat fleet? The captains are losing their ships, Luffy is the superior of the worst gen who isn't an enemy, so they can all join on a new fleet ship and be called the Worst Gen pirates
i would love if oda gave his assistants permission to make a spin off with small 10 chapter arcs about each supernovas journey or like a highlight, or at least get light novels made of their journeys
Holy shit. You think simply acknowledging that things happen to characters in universe that we don't see is a bold decision? Every video I'm more and more convinced the only media you've ever consumed is One Piece. You act like every Creative Writing 101 choice Oda makes is a stroke of genius that nobody else would think to do.
The best thing I love about one piece is characters who you don’t think will be important end up having a major role in the future. For example Buggy, I don’t think anyone predicted this clown who started by destroying a pet food shop would end up being a Yonko.
Oda has clearly been building for now three plot threads: Chapter 1079: Kid's plotline (Defeated by Shanks) Chapter 1081: Law's plotline (Defeated by Blackbeard) The first two were resolved, which brings us to the third current plotline, Garp's plotline. And if we sense this pattern we can easily understand that: 3. Chapter 1082-1083: Garp's plotline (Defeated by Kuzan and the Blackbeard Pirates)
EDIT: Context and Typo. To my knowledge, it is stated that Supernovae are rookies pirates that shined a lot in a very short amount of time, going from 0 berry bounty to a 100 millions and more in a a year. As for the Worst generation, being the term to refer as the peculiar new set of pirates captain that defied the marine. Tat's hy the Worst generation is about the 11 supernovae AND Black Beard. for exemple, Caribou was stated to be a supernovae, as Albion and others during their introduction. So it means that each year or so, new supernovae emerge (if i remember correctly even Ace was one at his time) and in the end, the Worst generation (who are not supernovae anymore) is a name given to the generation from wich BB, Luffy, Kidd and others are from.
It was given the name of the worst generation because they are the Supernova that were active after Whitebeards death. When Whitebeards die, a lot of opportunity came up to conquer other low level pirates and islands and the Supernova were the one who took advantage and cause most of the chaos. Hence, they were called the worst generation.
Kid's defeat crushed all the hype and value of the worst generation, they were meant to be rivals to luffy, zoro and blackbeard but that never happened. This proves, like wano, that oda can't handle many characters at the same time as well as people think.
I can just imagine Kohei watching Goda come up with worst generation saying “hold up, let him cook!” Over and over in his head for the duration of the 3 hours just progressively more hype😂
This is check in the rest of the world time, he needs to do this so we have proper context when one of the elder stars steps in at egghead. Now we know the Yanko are making moves, sword is making it's move to challenge Blackbeard pirates (while Blackbeard is a away). All the while the newest Yanko seems to be taking the world's smartest man. I think the next chapter has a high chance to check in with the cross guild as Buggy is the one Yanko we don't have info on. We got an explanation on the original of the cross guild but not their current actions as every other world power left is making their moves. I suspect cross guild will go merge with the left over whitebeard story with his 'son' being captured and Marco asked to save him and theoretical lots of treasure at stake. But that doesn't tie directly into current hunt for the path to LaughTale it may only get a few panels. Unless the man marked by flames shows up in the cross guild storyline.
Another thing to think about is the fact that when they were introduced, all of them were considered more dangerous than the non Supernova Straw Hats. Now Nami, who has the lowest non joke bounty in the crew has a higher bounty than all of them except the main captain trio, one of the endgame antagonists and Zoro
From how i remember it the supernova title is given to every group of highly notable newbie pirates that make it to saboady. Like the 11 supernovas of luffy's group were just the at the time latest group of supernova. Then after marineford then rocky port ect blackbeard was thrown in and they were called the worst generation. Carribu and Cavendish were also called supernovas
You Know, whenever I hear about the jobs the Worst Generation would have if they weren't pirates, I can't help but be reminded of the "I've Got A Dream" song from the Tangled soundtrack. Just imagine the new lyrics!

Apoo was ALWAYS in Kaido's crew, even before the time skip and that's VERY obvious in the chapters and anime ep of him talking about 'not making his boss mad'
@@allaction7816 wait what????? He was????? What chapter
Everything is obvious in hindsight innit.
I mean the existence of them makes sense , Luffy definitely wasn't the only one inspired to head out to sea because of Rodger and the fact there's places Luffy didn't go to on his route actually kinda leaves side stories for other super nova's after the manga ends or goes on Hiatus eventually.
@@thisisnotme6542 It seemed obvious from the start, when Roger declared One Piece is up for grabs.
Basil Hawkins
-He the most underwhelming member of Worst Generation, and I don't see him showing up again in the story as he was implied as dead.
Capone Bege
-I just feel like his story and purpose is complete. I don't think he has anything more to offer but I see him appearing in the main story one more time.
Apoo
-As an informant, there's a possibility that he might join the Blackbeard Pirates, although less likely because he'll be seen weak by Blackbeard, and Cross Guild which is highly likely to happen as their organization works as a bounty hunters so information is important. Plus, Cross Guild need to hire and recruit some strong and heavy hitters on their organization if they want to rival the likes of Straw Hat Pirates, Blackbeard Pirates, and Red Hair Pirates as the only one they can really rely on is Mihawk and Crocodile.
X-Drake
-With the mysterious shadow shrouding the SWORD organization, I think he'll appear in the future and play an important supporting role with this plot alongside with Coby and others.
Urouge
-He'll be an important character in the future, I guarantee it. There's so much to look forward to him because there's a possibility he might join the Blackbeard Pirates as his personality and traits is similar to them. He can also be an important player when the time comes Enel will descend in the blue sea and we'll get to know more about their origins and the moon.
Jewelry Bonney
-Now, this is a guaranteed important character of the story. Her character revolves around important plots in the story. She can be an ally to the Straw Hats, highly possible to join the revolutionary army, an enemy of the world government despite being a noble. I feel like she'll play an important role, especially, to the goal of the revolutionary army.
Killer
-I hope he's dead. Don't get me wrong I like his character but I don't think he can give anything interesting in the story anymore aside from being an inspiration of Kid if he's really dead.
Eustass Kid
-There's a chance that he's still alive.
Water Law
-He's definitely alive and his crew is still alive eventhough their ship was destroyed. I don't see his character being dead as he had the D and his dream is significantly relevant and important in the story. Plus, his devil fruit is also relevant to all big figures in the One Piece. Over all, his character is so relevant and significant to be left dead.
Do you have any different thoughts about Bonney now with the Kuma flashback and everything?
The picture in the background dropping at the mention of Basil Hawkins is such perfect comedic timing for the hilariously disappointing existence that he occupies.
Hawkins is that guy who's always getting into arguments on Twitter he knows nothing about but still acts superior. Oda hit him with a FAT "L+ratio+you fell off"
Dudes goated..mans knew the odds were aganist him and he followed through
Law, Bege, Killer, and Kid are some of my favorite characters in the whole series, and Bonney is growing on me very quickly with the new developments in the series.
5:30 no Zoro was meant to be there, just got lost on his way to the photoshoot
Bonney stocks were penny stocks until Kuma's backstory.
I don't think that's how it works.
Besides, Law is captured for some reason, and I doubt he'll do that much more in the story anyways

What’s crazy is oda was over there worrying about sabody and then in one chapter decision single handedly made my favorite arc
I actually like scratch man apoo. There's something about his moral ambiguity that makes him so interesting. He's also fought an admiral, his supernova counterparts, and CP0 agents, and still lives to tell the tale. That's something special.
What are the chances he was the 9th character to be designed, and Oda was running out of time because he had tickets for a music concert that night?
the fact that they lasted this long into the story is impressive, makes me wonder if oda was not forced to create them on what he would have done?
I would like a series following Zoro as a cop. I imagine Zoro getting lost and accidentally finding the criminals until he's given the title "Best Detective in the World." But really, he failed upwards like Buggy.
CSI: Grand Line
Ayo Zoro being a cop is actually perfect for the racist Zoro agenda 💀
@@100carlosfermin you right!
I believe Oda should select at least 8 writers that he trusts the vision of and then have each of them select a member of the worst generation and then they are in charge of creating the manga of the storyline of that character. So their story gets added to the lore of one piece and gives everyone a cool side story for the main manga.
So... a kind of Boruto style vision. Only better.

So the story can be derailed by less interesting characters? No thanks.

Basically “The Worst Generation” as a group was the best on paper, but the worst when playoff season starts.
No he is just looking into another world where One Piece is real and is just copying it
He also has an advantage of art style that doesn't have to be pretty. That means even if characters are off-model, they can still work.
Kid and Law will have a comeback i know it for sure! somehow they will endup meeting at elbaf
Great editing, especially towards the end there. I really enjoyed this one.
I think it’s a common misconception that all the members of the worst generation are after the One Piece. They’re not. It’s just that they were all infamous and all came up around the same time as Luffy did
Either that, or they’re all like Luffy, where they have no interest in the treasure itself, but rather they have individual aspirations that they believe the One Piece can help them achieve
Fun fact the closest Sanji has been to being inside Nami was when Law switched their bodies
Brook: Can I see your panties?
Sanji in Nami's body: Hell yes. Get the camera!
I appreciate the layers to your videos.
I laughed so hard at the pasta call back!
I think his journey has ended , he might be still alive in prison on Wano tho
@@nicholasaugello2534 Hawkins straight up died. He's one of the wano deaths.

I wonder if we'd ever get a spin off based on the other members if the worst generation after the main series has concluded it would be nice ti see the journey from their perspective
10:31 that poster falling off is symbolic off the state of the worst gen trio alliance
as mysterious as the mad monk is, I think his story end came as swiftly as Bonney's did... When Kaido was introduced, Uroge was just sitting on a sky island recovering from a battle himself watching Kaido jump off the sky island, and since then we haven't seen him at all, maybe he just quietly left to start his shady business, deciding piracy wasn't in his cards afterall.
he defeated a commander of big moms crew by himself. he is not quitting being a pirate because kaido was feeling suicidal
horrible take that doesn’t make sense
I'm so confused. Why do people think Bonney's story is over?

As someone who was never really a fan of Kidd, I'm glad he's more or less finished in the eyes of fans with trying to be the Pirate King, much less becoming a Yonko.

Holy shit. You think simply acknowledging that things happen to characters in universe that we don't see is a bold decision? Every video I'm more and more convinced the only media you've ever consumed is One Piece. You act like every Creative Writing 101 choice Oda makes is a stroke of genius that nobody else would think to do.
Oda fanboism is real.
One Piece fans analyzing One Piece: +200 IQ
One Piece fans analyzing anything else: -200 IQ
Thaaaank you. One piece fans are delusional idiots and Oda is a great storyteller but no genius
The best thing I love about one piece is characters who you don’t think will be important end up having a major role in the future. For example Buggy, I don’t think anyone predicted this clown who started by destroying a pet food shop would end up being a Yonko.
Oda has clearly been building for now three plot threads:
Chapter 1079: Kid's plotline (Defeated by Shanks)
Chapter 1081: Law's plotline (Defeated by Blackbeard)
The first two were resolved, which brings us to the third current plotline, Garp's plotline.
And if we sense this pattern we can easily understand that:
3. Chapter 1082-1083: Garp's plotline (Defeated by Kuzan and the Blackbeard Pirates)
If Garp gets defeated I will shit
Or it could be kuzan’s plotline🤷🏽♂️
Maybe garp and kuzan take each other out, I honestly can't see kuzan fighting the straw hats
Kid deserved it. This is the third or fourth time he underestimates a yonkou.
I like the idea of Oda killing off of the worst generation, it kind of feels like the straw hats are finally starting to pull ahead of their rivals
Really? It never felt that way, kidd had way too little screen time. Bb has been build up as the big bad since skypiea.
I can just imagine Kohei watching Goda come up with worst generation saying “hold up, let him cook!” Over and over in his head for the duration of the 3 hours just progressively more hype😂

Its really pretty impressive how long the most have been in the race, considering they werent really planned.
Zoro as a cop pitted against Kid as a weapons dealer is a great idea !!
4 minutes since the video release, and I already love it
This is check in the rest of the world time, he needs to do this so we have proper context when one of the elder stars steps in at egghead.

Now Nami, who has the lowest non joke bounty in the crew has a higher bounty than all of them except the main captain trio, one of the endgame antagonists and Zoro
that's the difference between a yonko and a mere candidate
10:31 Even the poster didn’t want to stick around for Hawkins
Missed opportunity to say "you get the crown or you get to drown" on that Kidd bit at the beginning.
the fact oda could create them in 3 hours just shows how much he knows and loves his story.
I have that picture on my wall and never noticed Zoro wasn't there
The fact that Oda said Zoro would be a policeman 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You Know, whenever I hear about the jobs the Worst Generation would have if they weren't pirates, I can't help but be reminded of the "I've Got A Dream" song from the Tangled soundtrack. Just imagine the new lyrics!
