The de-aging would mean he'll be fit enough to ignore most of the symptoms of his illness in the short term, long-term wise it likely would make things worse as the higher physical exertion may well see him die from a heart attack or something similar.

This what-if scenario is quite tragic for the original strawhat members.
-Usopp is most likely dead along with Kaya after Kuro kills them without Luffy helping them.
-Nami is most likely to be tortured and killed by the Buggy Pirates without Luffy and Zoro's help, or probably killed by Arlong and his crew.
-Sanji most likely taken by Germa66 to be married off and killed by the Big Mom family.
-Robin most likely staying with Crocodile (if not caught or beaten by Luffy) or hunted down by the World Government and executed.
-Alabasta to be under dictatorship and destroyed. No longer freed.
-Chopper stuck in Drum Island, most likely under the rule of the evil tyrant, Wapol.
-Franky possibly stuck in Water7 or killed by World Government for Pluton.
-Brook still wandering the sea with his dead crew, never meeting or knowing if laboon is still alive.
-Jinbei most likely stuck in Impel Down because Luffy isn't there to free him.
I mean with brook at the least he would still get his shadow back probably, since moria would eventually be defeated again, probably at like marineford

A Crew consisting with someone who have the most broken paramecia (Law) and a literal god fruit (Luffy) , and someone who can make everyone stronger by putting them in their prime (Bonney) , someone who can see the future (Hawkin)

Don't forget Kidd being able to create some of the most busted weapins ever with his fruit (seriously, Damned Punk is the strongest weapon we have seen that is neither an Ancient weapon nor made by Vegapunk), Urouge being a big brawler that could overcome some insanely uphill battles from fairly early on and Bege being able to sneak everyone in and give them the opportunity to jump at unsuspecting targets (like seriously, the man could arrange for a meeting with Kaido promising to betray the rest and give him crucial information as to how to take down this dangerous group of upstarts in exchange for his protection only to have the other 10 jump out from his body as soon as Kaido is alone and unsuspecting)

I think it would have been better if instead of a crew they were a part of the same guild (organization) similar to the Cross Guild in the present storyline. The Worst Generation already sounds like an awesome name for a guild. They all have their separate dreams and simply work together to achieve them. Think of it as an alliance where nobody is the leader, rather they are like the knights of the round table.

Kidd is not the backstabbing type, I would imagine Luffy and Kidd fighting multiple time for the role of captain during the story. It pretty funny to see a pirate crew that the captain change every few months or something lol
I mean in the real world, a captain is not a permanent position on a ship of pirates. You are probably the one to make orders in battle, but if people don't like your leadership in between, you aren't going to outfight all or even any two people who want you out of that position.
Na, I don't see Luffy losing Captian role. I just think it would be hilarious for everyting now and then for us to see panels of Kidd attacking Luffy, trying to get the title of Captain from Luffy, and one of the more levelheaded ones, like Law or Bonny would comment on it while it would happen.
The only issue is... Who is cooking in this crew?

I feel like none of these monstrous personalities would agree to follow Law after he just teleports them out the ring. It's much more likely that they just fight each other till incapacitation.
What if Luffy became a Warlord (via Smoker’s praise) the world government keeps their Allies close, but keeps their enemies closer.
Kid would be the type of guy where if Luffy was captain and he was vice captain everyone on the ship will see Kid as the vice captain while Kid sees himself as co-captains with Luffy

Question: Is the Worst Generation's members set in stone or can new people be added to the group?
Set in stone, Only the super rookies or the 11 supernovas who reached sabaody on the year of the war of the best in marineford are considerd the worst generation. So luffy and the others. Other pirates who reached sabaody in some other year, before or after are just called supernovas of their year, but only this particular group is called the Worst Generation, because they did some outrageous shit that's not been done by any other super rookies. I think Bartholomeo and Cavendish are also Supernovas of their time but not a part of the Worst Generation
Also Blackbeard got added into the worst generation after Sabaody for his sudden rise and actions during Marineford.
Oda created them on a whim. They were never meant to be endgame material. It was always gonna come down to Luffy, Blackbeard and Shanks. As they're introduced earlier in the story.
Set in stone. There were 11 pirates with over 100M in sabody. According to shiki it has never happened in the history of one piece. Notorious pirates always come to sabody but 11 of them at the same time is unprecedented. Hence they were given the unique title of super nova. Later after the war, for their notoriety and crazy deeds, these super novas along with Blackbeard came to be known as the worst generation.

I think for some of your what ifs you need to separate them into parts for a more detailed story. You have such amazing ideas for One Piece AU's but unfortunately they get burnt out due to a 20 minute time limit. I think if you went through this kind of situation in detail we'd have more reach for the Worst Generation's trust for each other through arcs, see how they all react to situations and Luffy shining through for all of them. (Drake being a big one)

I really like this kind of videos where you theorize about assumptions and approaches within the plot of one piece. I have an idea you might like! It would be to form another Luffy's crew (cook, swordsman, navigator, helmsman, musician, doctor, carpenter,...) with other characters than the current nakamas. There must be similarities in the islands where they have passed!

How about to take that idea to the next level and create a collaborative fan fic with the whole community, but telling the story from the start? to me one Piece is almost like English colonization in America or the age of exploration in early 1400 through the late 19th century, all the Europeans where rushing to find new places to conquer and where trying to get to the new world first, this almost perfectly fits the shows first arc and the theme song.

If they were on the same crew, it would probably be a repeat of Rocks.
Not only that, but if they did manage to work together, there would be different issues at hand. More accurately, obstacles like Perona's fruit since the only way they managed to bypass it was with Usopp's negativity.
Other obstacles include Doflamingo goading Law in Marineford, Boa Handcock either not being in Marineford or attacking Luffy since he never befriended her, Shabody going completely differently since Luffy attacked Charlos over Hachi getting shot to save Camie, which might not even happen if they don't start out in East Blue or if they manage to kill Hachi during Arlong Park.
Someone like Kidd might challenge Mihawk, and Mihawk would destroy them in the Barate Arc if Kidd was there and they went in that area of the world.
Not to mention the only reason they agreed to help Vivi was because Nami mainly agreed. I doubt if they went to Wisky Peak and fought Brogue works that Vivi would survive, especially with Kidd, Killer, ect.
Finally, the major one is no one on their crew would be able to understand the Poniglyphs. Without that, they won't reach raftel. So yeah, good in theory, but in reality they're as disfunctional as ever.

The Worst Generation being on the same crew would basically be Rocks Pirates 2.0. A bunch of insanely strong wild cards that would always fight each other and not be the kind of people that would follow someone else's order. I absolutely love it.
Only thing is, Blackbeard would’ve died at impel down to Magellan cause Luffy never would’ve been able to get into impel down to begin with without boa so there would be a lot different at marineford actually

I guess we could put in a clause that they all acknowledge the stakes and promise to live with the outcome of the first captain fight, but Luffy being Luffy probably wouldn't agree to that wager in the first place because he absolutely wants to be captain, it's all or nothing for him. Kidd and Zoro might agree to it because they're the type who could live with the outcome if they made the promise/wager.

I wonder how Sabaody would have turned out. Would there still be a Buster Call and could Kizaru still hold himself against all the supernoivas together? if yes, would Kuma still split the group or even help them since his daughter is there? So many possible outcomes...
Also, regarding the _who's-gonna-be-captain_ fight, I'd say we can consider Blackbeard out from the start, since he probably wouldn't wanna be captain cuz his whole thing is to lay low until he gets what he wants
But he might need the agency to get those things done. Hes got a lot of stuff to do in very specific places and times, if he cant be captain he needs one that he can manipulate COMPLETELY

Another few things that bust this crew even further is that you have at least three Conquerors(Luffy, Kid, and Zoro), three D members(Luffy, Kid, and Law), but X Drake was a Rear Admiral so he would’ve already known at least the basics of Haki and started teaching the crew until Reyleigh show up to teach the more advanced forms. That’s just a couple things off the top of my head.
Edit: for a future what if, what if the Strawhats were just about to reach Laugh Tale and by an act of god their minds were sent back several years?Like back to when Sanji just made it to the East Blue or when Luffy ate the Gum Gum fruit? So basically a buncha kids with the memories of adults and the knowledge of what the future holds.

Also Enel's defeat will bring loyalty of Uroughe to Luffy as thanksgiving for defeating someone who destroyed his hometown in the past

Kid’s default role I feel should be shipwright or weapons engineer. His fruit is ONLY a magnet so everything he makes comes from his own mind which would be perfect for those roles

An interesting what if is if all the supernovas joined the same crew so everyone stays together and function as one team (ie strawhats heart pirates etc all on one ship)

i dont think kid would ever backstab anyone, he is way to prideful for that. he is almost like vegeta, so i think that his pride would be hurting and he would 100 procent challenge luffy at the start of there journy, but at some point he would slide down to second mate or mecanic or something else.
I want a redo of the what if ace got the nika fruit, or whatever it was. The ending if marineford being obliterated by Imu doesn’t make sense anymore.

I like the idea that, in this scenario, East Blue still happens but shenanigans cause the crews to get jumbled up. Maybe they end up on Kidd's ship or something. Who knows. Makes me wonder if the other crews could make it to Sabaody without their captains. Whoever Nami, Sanji and Bepo end up with probably have the best bets. If they all manage it, a Supernova Fleet would be an interesting idea. If not and they split at the start of the New World, wonder who'd stick with Luffy? I can see Bonney, X Drake and maybe Urougue doing so. Make for an interesting crew dynamic either way. I think the most likely situation is some go with Kidd and some stay with Luffy, maybe with Law initially trying to do his own thing before falling in line with Team Luffy around Dressrosa. At least having a Marine on the ship would at least give Garp less of a headache if he can somewhat keep tabs on his grandson.
It's also not like they'd stay as just the worst generation in the Grand line either. Assuming they end up going the canon route, that would still put at least Robin on the team since I can still see Robin playing stowaway and Luffy refusing to give her up to CP9 even if some of the others would prefer it. I feel Chopper wouldn't come due to Law meaning they don't need a Doctor though Franky is possible and so is Brook, assuming Apoo isn't enough of a musician to fulfil Luffy's goals. That's not counting other people that the others may inspire to ask to join. Maybe Urougue would catch the eye of someone in Skypeia for example. Actually, I can see a lot about that monk being explored in that arc thinking about it. At least they'd save Alabasta easier with this group.
