Thank you thank you thank you I've been looking for this song in the back of my mind for 10 years I couldn't believe when it started to play it was actually the song you have no idea it was like having an itch that I couldn't scratch for 10 years you are a hero disguised as a man!
You have no idea the pure joy and hope I feel watching Van Morrison embed himself into the next generation's soul. He won't live forever, and has deserved so much more recognition than he has gotten during his fantastically brilliant career. Enjoy him, Forever.
My son was shot 3 times in the chest ,was told he probably wouldn't live.he did. 7 weeks in hospital, 4 weeks in a coma.when we left the hospital we just sat in the car and looked at each other and I asked what would you like to do first and he said I'd like for you to play van Morrison. I knew at that moment that he gets life.
Me too! I love Jamel's reactions to Van Morrison because that's so how I feel when I listen to him. I'd like to add a couple of extra songs to the list: for fun/upbeat music, "The Bright Side of the Road" (ruclips.net/video/rCDZzf4ragg/видео.html) and for a follow-up love song, more of an in-love-with-life song, "These are the Days" (ruclips.net/video/_lyve_egY8o/видео.html).
I've been saying that since the early 70's LoL. Few artists make me NEED to move, beyond tapping my feet etc. The sad thing is he's really only known for "Moondance" and "Brown Eyed Girl". Those of us who know, of course we know, but I pity the rest.

Van Morrison: Ireland's gift to the world. He's probably the greatest poet-singer to ever come from my ancestral home. His music always reminds me of Autumn, my favorite season. His music is visceral and so multilayered. Rich, like the Autumn air. Today being September 1st, I broke out my Autumnal Playlist. The beginning of America's history began with a dumping of tea. "You can't stop us on the road to freedom" The men in granite, Mt Rushmore.
