  • Mario Cipollini was one of the best cyclists in the history of cycling. However, his 2002 season was absolutely hilarious, with a hilarious performance at the World Cycling Championships in Zolder and winning Milan Sanremo 2002 with a legendary show on Via Roma. Want to know how he managed to be the best sprinter in the world in 2002? #Cycling, #Sports, #Doping

Cipollni was ni mug on a bike, very naturally gifted.. the 90's were terrible for prep, no excuses but he was just doing what everyone else was doing.
Personalities like him don't come along every day, the nearest most of the newer people would know would be Sagan, who was a terror on and off the bike
Yes, he beat his wife, and others... he admitted to anger management problems, he dodged a two year jail sentence and has turned his life around.
I give him that, he's 52 or so, and has built a successful bike company and turned his profile way down, and geez, he's still so fit...
