  • The public fallout centers over allegations that Shannon McKesey, a former South Fulton police officer, pocketed money and mishandled evidence during her time on the force. Now, some of the city’s top leaders are being accused of enabling that alleged misconduct while retaliating against those who called it out. FULL INVESTIGATION: bit.ly/3jubOxv

They will be "blackballed" by the other officers until eventually the "good" officer turns "bad" or leaves the force!!!!! PERFECT EXAMPLE!!!!

Rescind qualified immunity. All police officers and other officials involved in the judiciary should have to carry "Personal Protection Insurance" as a condition of employment. Such insurance would cover the costs of lawsuits subsequent to due process of law thereby deflecting costs from the taxpayer to the insurance company. Should insurance companies cancel the policy when an official is determined to be a bad risk, the official's employment would be automatically terminated. Such a policy would get rid of bad cops and officials pretty quickly.

Let’s get one thing straight. HR is not there to protect employees. HR is there to hear what the employee says and do a litmus test to see if it’s illegal and then correct the company if it’s illegal. Their sole job is to keep the company out of legal trouble. Since this video has aired, McCassie has been terminated, she was allowed to resign rather than to be prosecuted. The chief takes full responsibility and is sorry that he hired her and blah blah blah. That does not give the people back the assets that she stole and sold off before the cases even came to trial. She sold evidence before the trial. One poor woman had one person say that someone else was driving her business van and selling drugs. The police it looks like did no investigation, did no corroboration, did no stakeout or follow the van for any length of time to see if what this person claimed was true. No, they just went and confiscated her van with all of her supplies and three years later, there’s been no charges against her or anyone else and the city sold her vehicle. We need to change the civil forfeiture asset laws because they are grossly unfair.

Then they complain that honest American citizens want to defund them.
And others start do 1st Amendment audits.
And yet other fear for their lives the moment they see red and blue lights, or an officer starts talking to them.
It's obvious America needs some kind of control system combined with people on the ground interacting with the public.
But these people doing it MUST NEVER FORGET they are dealing with others that are their equals.
Whether they are criminals or not.
Respect I believe is the answer to many problems.
If law enforcement is forced to always act with respect. (Which shouldn't need to be forced. It should be automatic because it's the correct way to act) they would be respected more and treated nicer.
Also average citizens wouldn't mind listening to them and in effect doing the correct things.
In adversarial situations, like all law enforcement interactions these days seem to be.
Even innocent law abiding citizens DON'T WANT TO HEAR THEIR EGO DRIVEN NONSENSE and have a psychological problem with doing things the way they already know they should, because appeasing a tyrant goes against common sense, human nature, and feels horrible.
      These things must get fixed.

    • @thoughtthinker9300
      @thoughtthinker9300 Год назад

@@MyHighHorse A bummer overall problem is that even if a group or governing body is created to oversee all law enforcement.
Then that group or governing body will most likely become the new problem or just a higher level problem associated with the present problem and may end up with the bad actors filling all levels of it.
America does need legal enforcing organization of some kind.
      The biggest question is.
How can this be done legally in a way that is totally safe for legally acting citizens.
One that will only go after problem citizens or persons
Where EGO's won't ever desire innocent people be prosecuted for anything ever.
We also need a better system to deal with these crimes once caught.
Abusing criminals is counter productive if putting those criminals back out into the public is an eventually goal.
These criminals mind sets must be altered, they must become educated, and possibly even trained as to how to live, work, and succeed in life legally.
Along with being taught enough benefits as to why they would want to, and how all this benefits them most of all. An incentive to live legally.
And whatever these teaching are chosen to be.
They should then also in some form begin being taught in all school systems

When you have a police department answerable to the mayor and city officials, that is a major problem and lends itself to corruption at every level. Since the 'paid investigator' never read any reports or anything an actual investigation actually does, how did he come to any conclusions at all??? Oh! He was paid to write a report without any act9 knowledge of anything. That has the value of the now 'used' paper it's written on. Scrap value.
