    Hey Ed, good to see the baler working! Those cameras sure do help keeping an eye on the pickup. Saves stretching your neck back all the time. Yes those beepers on the round balers can be annoying. One thing about those big square balers, there is no stopping to kick out a bale. Only problem is they need to be put under cover right away.

      Actually you'd be surprised how similar the big and small are.
      I can't say for sure about capacity, but I'd say it's higher capacity, simply because the bales are more dense.. and it didn't seem to need as much horsepower as the old one.. 🤔

    Wow that thing looks bigger now that it's out in the field. So it tells you if one string doesn't get tied decent? And then you were talking about flags jumping. I don't know what you were talking about there. Where is that at and what does that tell you?

    • @GosselinFarmsEdGosselin
      @GosselinFarmsEdGosselin  Месяц назад

      @@AgWildNebraska it's a little bigger than the old one.. more ground clearance, so a little taller I think.. it's a few feet longer too.. and 2 tons heavier, but so far, handles well..
      The flags are wires connected to arms the top twine runs through, they have 2" reflectors on top, when the needles come up, the flags all extend up, then back down. If they stay down tight, the twine is hung up on the billhook, if they Pop all the way back up, the knot didn't tie.. if they don't all "dance", then one is still connected to the last bale..
      I hope I explained that so you understand it.
