Single person healing is very welcome and maybe it will give that zelot corruption heal some real value(getting an empty bar back doesn't do much if there's no way to fill it back up)
If Darktide will add new weapons for ogryns in the future, my idea for melee is the Spud Jacker and for range the Auto Cannon. Spud jackers could be a two handed weapon (Similar to Zealot’s thunder hammers but without power enhancements) that can act as a Jack-of-all-trade weapon when it comes to dmg (especially against flak or carapace enemies) and crowd control. My idea for its special attack would be for ogryn to thrust with the top or bottom end of the spud jacker which staggers enemies for follow-up attacks Auto cannons could be a precise and anti flak/carapace two handed heavy firearm. Its handling would be similar to the heavy stubbers, but its function more similar to the plasma gun. More focused on targeting lined up enemies or singular enemies. Special attacks with auto cannon could simply be a melee attack like with the heavy stubbers.
Love your content mate. I feel you with those build changes. I kust finished getting stuff for my vet and now they gonna change him again. A bit annoying but I will take any new stuff at this point.
@@Bigotsandwich1995 Fr, i feel you. I only use bolter with zealot since it can do mad burst damage on monsters and groups of crushers and bulwarks without realing on specific builds with that class unlike veteran
@@flipsvstheworld seriously, what good is a gun if that rager pack at the end of the hall is 2 feet away from you by the time your ready to shoot I guess the bolter could get some value there but the helbore is a precision weapon,I gotta line up headshots and do a charge up for the shot
@@Bigotsandwich1995 You're right, it sucks, so what I did was roll a Mk II instead of the Mk III so I could use the bayonet as a melee most times (it's actually a really strong melee option) and then you only have to swap when things get really out of hand and you need the massive cleave of power sword or something like that. I think both Mk I and Mk II are good for this, the Mk III has a horrible slow strike down bayonet which ruins it.
I really like the sharpshooter keystone when paired with a Hellbore or Kantrel lasgun. You don't have to stand still for long to get great value from it, and as long as you don't sprint you don't lose them all too quickly, so you can move a lot more than people think they can and still get value. I think the bigger problem with it is the build in general wants to be consistently be firing, but it relies on your teammates to remain together. It's great when you have friends on voice to cover you while you pick off high-priority and hard to remove targets, but with randoms it often devolves into everyone sprinting off in different directions and you have to engage in melee where none of your build provides any benefit, but that was the case before the keystone was added as well. I think the suggested threat reduction would be great for it to allow more breathing room for picking off shooters and gunners that would otherwise whittle down your allies while they're dealing with the melee. Until then I'll probably only play my sniper build with friends.
@@rovelfox7832 I agree that it feels manageable to use if you pick the modifier that gives you stacks per 0.75 second for not moving or crouch walking, kinda turns it into another surgical type buff, but the 15 stack node is basically useless and so are the other ones if you're not using the regen. IMO they need to just add the 0.75 second regen into the base keystone to make the other modifiers useful.
There’s nothing else that comes even close. The bolter has similar damage and penetration, but it’s extremely slow to operate and kicks like a mule. I’d love nothing more than to run a flamer on my Zealot all the time-but a lesson I learned shortly after I started playing as a Zealot (Vet being my first class) is that you absolutely cannot rely on your teammates to focus pesky trappers, flamers, and bombers the moment they hear their sound cues.
And those players aren’t “useless,” most of them using revolvers are those with good aim, otherwise you’re wasting bullets and wasting tons of time on that slow reload, which is detrimental to both yourself and the team.

Swedish holidays around the corner. Need i remind you of the month of silence after release last year?
Yeah, we are not getting content until mid-late April knowing how Swedish holidays work
I think that Henry Caville movie sometime in the next 4 years will be a nice target for the company to aim for mass market appeal
Would be nice but considering the snails pace they have worked with so far I wouldn't hold my breath
Absolutely hope for another psyker staff and something like a new kickback/rumbler variant or new shield or Paul variant for ogryn

I'm kind of hoping the HelGun the Death Korp grenadiers use, backpack mounted that maybe has the overheat mechanic of the plasma gun but faster firing
I’m glad you’re also getting your Mcree/Cassidy fix through Darktide aswell. Ever since I saw there was a revolver in game it’s always been high noon.
I’m a new subscriber and I’ve just gotta say that I love your content! Glad I found your channel and keep up the awesome work! :)
I mostly want to get some proper swords for Zealot.
Just give ‘em a zweihander for gods sake!

sure hope that fanning thing is unique and a fun revolver...not so sure about the shovel tho
Man I can't wait! Those consumables will be a big game changer.
Aww i thought we'd get the datamined two handed power swords. Oh well, I'm still happy with what we've got.
God I hope Vet doesn't get kicked in the karker again. Too bad no weapon changes to the bolter and helbore ready animation

Hoping hard they change the sharpshooter keystones. Standing still in a tide game is signing yourself for getting killed
Unless they add in something like reduce your threat

The stims being like the potions from vermintide made me wonder if you have ever played vermintide. and would you like to make a video on it.
I'm betting that they are releasing another pistol instead of balancing Ragers, feels bad man.
Waiting for it for console
woahwoahwoahwoahwoahwoahwoahwoahwoahwoah...
his name is COLE CASSIDY now!!! 🤠
Agreed, Vet tree should be redesigned not shaved off and this nerfed
Probably going to make it a bit shorter or more conjoined
melta gun when?????
Still no hotshot lasgun. shame.
