It’s just a tiny detail I noticed but I’m kinda bummed that Jack didn’t realise. The snowdrake ghost thing is Snowdrakes Mum. Snowdrakes Dad mentions in MTT Reserve that the Mum passed away and the son ran away. I think that’s really sad but a good way to tie up a loose end.
Yes and she says Sn..ow..y that's her calling her son's name, since it's confirmed that Snowdrake's name is in fact Snowy, I believe his father says it. She is definitely the Amalgam I feel the most sorry for.
The worst part of the “True Lab” story is that the note that Alphys leaves behind was very likely a suicide note. In other endings, it’s implied that she does commit due to the loss of certain characters (specifically either Undyne or Mettaton). In this storyline (for lack of a better term) she gets a chance to tell Undyne her true feelings, but she never goes through the “self-confidence” training with Papyrus (he says directly that she left abruptly and quickly, while also showing signs of full, genuine concern. Something he’s not usually showed expressing.) Alphys still felt the guilt of her experiments and didn’t get a chance to tell Undyne or anyone. She goes down into her lab to face the “monstrosities” she’s created and, in her eyes, face her punishment for her awful deeds. She never truly intended to come back up from her “True Lab”. She was worried that if the things she did ever came out that she’d run away or do something “cowardly” aka end her own life. Thus, she was fully prepared to die down there. Alphys is such a great character and her story is SO MUCH DEEPER when you put together all the bits and pieces of everything she does in each different ending. She suffers from a lot worse than social anxiety and low self-esteem. Depression, suicidal ideation and attempts, and possible PTSD from witnessing the things she did with the amalgams. It’s a really good representation of what it’s like for people irl who deal with these things(Note: I’ve suffered with these issues myself and have a lot of experience). It’s usually much worse than what others see and you almost never get to find the full story because it’s a personal journey and everyone is different and has different causes and responses to these issues. Truly the realest and most dedicated representation of mental health I’ve seen even recently. Undertale will always remain one of the greatest games ever made. Toby Fox is not only a genius but also deeply cared about the story being told and obviously did serious research and dedicated to getting these things right. He definitely exceeded anything I’ve ever seen before. Always one of my top favorite games to ever exist.

But in this timeline, after the date, I think she's gained a lot of confidence, and she's truly intending to clean up her mess with the amalgamations and return them to their families. She was gonna feed them, then the power blew and things became creepier than it actually was. Her whole thing is that she avoids her own problems because of her anxiety (relatable! been there), which just exacerbates her anxiety and tendency to isolate. She's finally gonna confront herself and her mistakes, in this timeline, because of the help she got from Frisk and the others to gain confidence.

i love the sheer aggression in jack's voice when he says "DON'T YOU DARE" after flowey captures everyone in vines i think it really goes to show just how good undertale is at making you really feel like youve connected with these characters and their world - seeing them hurt or killed feels like something bad happening to one of your actual loved ones in real life
FOR REAL THOUGH. I've played and seen this game be played so many times but I cry every single time. There isn't any other piece of media that can consistently do that to me. Undertale is truly something special.
And once you trigger the ending, that person won't be there anymore... Unless you just true reset. (I know who the person is it's just that I don't want to spoil the game)

You’ll lose if you where saving if you pressed fight you will not win sans only dodge 25 time and the battle is 20 minutes so if sans wasn’t 1 hit you problem and sans only last so long because of dodging sans was 1 hit and you only have a bad time because of his bullet patterns karma and no invincibility frames
1:09:55 is the moment that I absolutely lose it every time. Between the revelation, Sean's reaction, and by god the MUSIC, I just start sobbing. No game will every be able to beat the raw emotional power that Undertale puts out.
For me it was when the music started playing in the new home. Idk but that part of the sound track hit me like a truck. Only this game and Rakuen have made me cry. (I mean Overwatch has, but that was because people can be heartless) I cried during this game and ugly sobbed during Rakuen. Both of these games have a special spot in my heart.

I'm going to show a play-through of this game to my kids with voice actors and all, and at the end I will tell them, "Now don't be afraid of any monsters under your bed or in your closet! The only monsters that will be in your room will be the ones giving you butterscotch pie!" And then I'll leave butterscotch pie in their rooms some nights.

elijah Rainer I would never do Genocide. What’s so appealing about murdering and psychologically tormenting lovable cartoon characters built to be charming and memorable in cold blood? You literally get the worst ending. Whoever happens to have avoided your wrath gets stranded in a diminished, depressed, beaten kingdom of oppressed fellow monsters for all eternity. The game even punishes you for doing it. Literally the entire point of the game is that it’s the RPG where you don’t actually have to kill all the characters.
I'm going off the college soon, feeling sick and took to watching this. That last scene where Frisk hugs Asriel and says "Everything will be okay because you have people who will always support you" really hit to heart. This series makes me cry everytime
He is going to play Undertale, on livestreams, every Thursday until he beats the game. He felt unwelcome in the community when he started playing it originally and people kind of ruined it for him but he's going to take another crack at it.
Yall, that final form of asriel looks like the delta rune. His "legs" and gloves (well, the black arrows on em) form the arrows, then his wings and the ball in the middle are the angel symbol.
I still think it’s really sweet how Jack could have still kept on the “True Pacifist” route even if he fought back in his battles, so long as he didn’t kill anyone. But he continues to get injured while trying to make peace with the monsters no matter what, and consciously refuses to hurt them even when he could. I just love this play through so much and this is a big reason why.
Right? The moment where he turns into Asriel was a huge shock. Pretty sure he’s pretending on camera to react, because he was open about knowing a lot more about sans, and seems like is about to predict dialogue sometimes and stops if it’s literally exactly what they say.
Me too! I walked down the aisle to "His Theme" from the second part of the Asriel fight at my wedding four years ago, my husband and i got to play Undertale together when we were dating
This series never fails to move me to tears and I never know why because I’m not someone who really ever cries. Maybe because I resonate with the fact that asriel doesn’t want to be alone or the fact that getting to the end of the series reminds me that everything is temporary and nothing lasts forever. All in all it’s still a very good game and series from jacks voice acting and just humour in general. Have a nice day, whoever is reading this and know that there is always someone that cares for you and staying on this world is always worth it. :)
Nothing lasts forever but I’ve learned that living in the moment and allowing yourself to be happy is what helps the memory to live on forever. Even though you’re no longer in the moment, it’ll still hold a place in your heart and looking back to it might even fill you with a bit of determination :)
This is one of the best if not THE BEST gameplay series I have ever watched not only regarding Undertale but generally in the gameplay community. The fun he is experiencing is so genuine that he just puts a smile on your face with every smile and glimpse of happiness he gives off. The voices just give life to the characters and add to the fun. He didn't underestimate it because of its artstyle neither did he brush off additional information about the cities or the owners of shops. The game itself is obviously phenomenal, and he played it so well, he was able to connect all the dots and was willing to learn more and more about the characters. You can just sense the connection with him and the characters. He really played the game as it should be played and praised it as much as it should be praised. Idc if nobody sees this comment I just wanna leave it here.
Truth! So many people play through this incredible game and skip out on the tiny details that enrich the world and make you laugh at even the smallest things.
Elfi, I'm gonna be honest. Undertale should not have a sequel. The first game said enough. And the evergrowing fan community is wonderful. A sequel will almost definitely ruin it.
This game is genius. The fact that at the beginning, when you name the character, it says name the fallen human and not name your character is genius. The fact that no one throughout the entire series besides when you die says your name is genius. Its amazing.

Today marks the day I’ve finally been able to finish this game on my own. After years of only watching, I’ve finally experienced this story for myself. It’s my journey now too, and Jack, I’m so glad you were here to accompany me through it. I played alongside your entire play through, syncing up your voice acting with my own game. You helped me push forward when times were hard, in game and in life too. God, I cried like a baby so many times. It’s been such a long time since I really truly came back to this game. I didn’t realize how much I missed it. How much love I still have for it. And somehow I find ways to love it even more. Asriel was right. There are a lot of Floweys in the human world- and not every problem can be fixed with a bit of kindness. But as long as we hold onto hope and determination, we’re all gonna be okay. I’m gonna be okay. I’m leaving this series here for now, but I’m sure I’ll be giving it another watch within the next few years. So, see you then, Moe from the future.

Its supposed to be hopeful, like “hey, so many bad things happened to this race that most likely did nothing wrong to deserve it, and then finally there’s a light at the end of the tunnel after so long and there’s a chance they could be truly happy” what’s sad is that you have the choice to heartlessly rip that hope away from them
I honestly don’t know why people are talking about that stunning final match more. It is untouchably beautiful in its portrayal of genuine compassion over violence.
Asriel’s last stage made me cry all the feeling in his dialogue really hit me. Especially at the very end with the rainbow laser when he was pleading with the player to give up
it doesn't matter how old i get, i always find my way back to this absolute treasure of a series. Hell, i even got a tattoo on my arm that says "Despite everything, it's still you." I think this will always be my favorite video game, and Sean, you played it wonderfully, you processed every single aspect and detail of this game the exact same way I did, and this will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember learning about this game for the first time in fifth grade, and I am now 19 years old, and it still makes me feel the exact same way I did, every single time. Thank you Sean. Thank you for everything.

is it ok to call undertale one of my favorite games without ever having played it? i think it's because watching you play this game makes me feel like i have experienced it all. maybe even more. and i don't think it's all only because of the tear-jerking storyline, or the soundtrack, or the characters. it's also because i get to see you get into it. i never got tired of it, jack. even though you laughed a million times at every joke, or pointed out that you listened to the soundtrack every day which was why you loved the music so much, or listed every detail you love about undertale. it never got tiring. the first time i heard you play the voices, i had to think to myself, this guy must love doing the voices so much. i knew it before you said it yourself. because i loved them too. and when, for the first time in the whole series, you stopped reading the dialogue and dropped the voice, i had to check the little video clip of you at the top left corner. you were crying. i lnew it even before i saw it. because i was crying too. it's been seven years and a lot has changed in my life since i first watched you play. maybe a lot has happened to yours too. maybe this series is the least of your concerns right now, or maybe you have forgotten it more times than you remember it. but i can say, with all of my heart, that you taught me to love life a little bit more. god. seven years. i've been an adult for a long time now, and i have forgotten how it felt to be like a child again. thank you dearest, jack. i'm so happy this exists.

1:09:55 is the moment that I absolutely lose it every time. Between the revelation, Sean's reaction, and by god the MUSIC, I just start sobbing. No game will every be able to beat the raw emotional power that Undertale puts out.
That and also when the hp refuses to go to 0 right after, it's just so....impactful, beautiful even.
For me it was when the music started playing in the new home. Idk but that part of the sound track hit me like a truck. Only this game and Rakuen have made me cry. (I mean Overwatch has, but that was because people can be heartless) I cried during this game and ugly sobbed during Rakuen. Both of these games have a special spot in my heart.

You literally get the worst ending. Whoever happens to have avoided your wrath gets stranded in a diminished, depressed, beaten kingdom of oppressed fellow monsters for all eternity. The game even punishes you for doing it. Literally the entire point of the game is that it’s the RPG where you don’t actually have to kill all the characters.

I still think it’s really sweet how Jack could have still kept on the “True Pacifist” route even if he fought back in his battles, so long as he didn’t kill anyone. But he continues to get injured while trying to make peace with the monsters no matter what, and consciously refuses to hurt them even when he could. I just love this play through so much and this is a big reason why.

This series never fails to move me to tears and I never know why because I’m not someone who really ever cries. Maybe because I resonate with the fact that asriel doesn’t want to be alone or the fact that getting to the end of the series reminds me that everything is temporary and nothing lasts forever. All in all it’s still a very good game and series from jacks voice acting and just humour in general.

Nothing lasts forever but I’ve learned that living in the moment and allowing yourself to be happy is what helps the memory to live on forever. This is one of the best if not THE BEST gameplay series I have ever watched not only regarding Undertale but generally in the gameplay community. The fun he is experiencing is so genuine that he just puts a smile on your face with every smile and glimpse of happiness he gives off. The voices just give life to the characters and add to the fun. He didn't underestimate it because of its artstyle neither did he brush off additional information about the cities or the owners of shops. The game itself is obviously phenomenal, and he played it so well, he was able to connect all the dots and was willing to learn more and more about the characters. You can just sense the connection with him and the characters. He really played the game as it should be played and praised it as much as it should be praised. Idc if nobody sees this comment I just wanna leave it here.

Today marks the day I’ve finally been able to finish this game on my own. After years of only watching, I’ve finally experienced this story for myself. It’s my journey now too, and Jack, I’m so glad you were here to accompany me through it. I played alongside your entire play through, syncing up your voice acting with my own game. You helped me push forward when times were hard, in game and in life too.
God, I cried like a baby so many times. It’s been such a long time since I really truly came back to this game. I didn’t realize how much I missed it. How much love I still have for it. And somehow I find ways to love it even more.
Asriel was right. There are a lot of Floweys in the human world- and not every problem can be fixed with a bit of kindness. But as long as we hold onto hope and determination, we’re all gonna be okay. I’m gonna be okay.
I’m leaving this series here for now, but I’m sure I’ll be giving it another watch within the next few years. So, see you then, Moe from the future.

I honestly don’t know why people are talking about that stunning final match more. It is untouchably beautiful in its portrayal of genuine compassion over violence.

I think this will always be my favorite video game, and Sean, you played it wonderfully, you processed every single aspect and detail of this game the exact same way I did, and this will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember learning about this game for the first time in fifth grade, and I am now 19 years old, and it still makes me feel the exact same way I did, every single time. Thank you Sean. Despite the obnoxious community, absurd amounts of rule 34, and joke this game has become, this game has stood the test of time as one of the greatest games ever.
i hate that the fandom diminished the quality of the game but it still remains to be incredibly detailed and clearly had so much thought and care put into it.
I never got into the fandom so the game is unblemished in my eyes.

is it ok to call undertale one of my favorite games without ever having played it?
i think it's because watching you play this game makes me feel like i have experienced it all. maybe even more. and i don't think it's all only because of the tear-jerking storyline, or the soundtrack, or the characters. it's also because i get to see you get into it. i never got tired of it, jack. even though you laughed a million times at every joke, or pointed out that you listened to the soundtrack every day which was why you loved the music so much, or listed every detail you love about undertale. it never got tiring. the first time i heard you play the voices, i had to think to myself, this guy must love doing the voices so much. i knew it before you said it yourself. because i loved them too. and when, for the first time in the whole series, you stopped reading the dialogue and dropped the voice, i had to check the little video clip of you at the top left corner. you were crying. i lnew it even before i saw it. because i was crying too.
it's been seven years and a lot has changed in my life since i first watched you play. maybe a lot has happened to yours too. maybe this series is the least of your concerns right now, or maybe you have forgotten it more times than you remember it. but i can say, with all of my heart, that you taught me to love life a little bit more. god. seven years. i've been an adult for a long time now, and i have forgotten how it felt to be like a child again. thank you dearest, jack. i'm so happy this exists.
