Blowback just uses more gas. I have the Umerex none blowback BB version and 3 clips. it is good for 60 shots and shoots nice. Trigger is quite tight though.
A lot of people recommend the Umarex non blowback version, I'd have bought one but I wanted the moving action for demonstration purposes. I look now and then for second hand Umarexs, they don't seem to be available that often.
Never been a fan of this gun, fake or real or bb, even as a display gun, why you ask?, well just my personal opinion, just don't like it, the style or the way it fires with the blowback action, so thank you nick for this video, at least I am not alone.
I'm the same, some guns have a big following but they just don't float my boat. The P08 / Luger is a bit of a marmite gun, especially the "artillery" versions with the long barrel. I agree they are pretty ugly and unpleasant to fire, give me a 1911 or M92 any day in preference. But they have a certain charm, or at least real ones do anyway. Historically they are quite significant, if only to show how far ahead Germany was technologically in both world wars. The C96 Mauser is another example (spoiler alert).
I want a Luger but im torn between this one, the Umarex full blowback version (which i have heard is not as high quality as it seems) and the non-blowback Umarex version. After seeing this review i will probably go with this because i really want one with brown grips Great review
Hello thank you for your comment, much appreciated 👍🏻. Glad you enjoyed the video. I think Gletcher still make another version, branded as the Parabellum. It doesn't come with brown grips, but it is meant to be much better than the P08 with the added benefit of being easily field strippable and having the CO2 capsule in the magazine. I'd imagine replica wooden grips could be modified to fit. If I could turn back time personally I would not buy the reviewed gun, I would have bought something else. Visually it's better than a replica because things like the safety catch aren't just cast in, but mine isn't particularly good as a CO2 pistol. However maybe I just received a bad example, I can only report on the kit that I have in front of the camera. If you do buy one then I hope you get a much better one than I did.
@@nickvending9688 Ye the other Gletcher pistol youre referring to is identical to the Umarex Luger blowback. But its not that powerfull and ive heard it breaks easily
I got one of them Umarex Legends series non-blowback P-08s from the stash of my late dad. Cleaned it up a bit and had co2 in it since the day I initially tested it - and it seems to even have held well the gas. Not a big fan of the model - but it seems to be a decent non-blowback BB pistol imo.
Muy buena revisión Nick..un saludo .
Thank you, much appreciated.
I LIKED the Video by the way!
Thank you, much appreciated 👍🏻
As always good review👍🏻
Thanks John. I was worried it was a bit too honest but I feel people need to know these things rather than trying to dress it up.

Ah ok. That's a pity. I'm out of suggestions then.

They do seem to be good guns. Might keep my eyes out for one.
