  • I made a bowl from oak and epoxy resin.
I drilled holes in a weathered piece of oak with a wad drill and filled them with epoxy resin.
After the epoxy resin had hardened, I turned it into a bowl and finished it with friction polish

Hi Hans, I love your design. Never thought of that. Brilliant. Not too overcomplicated by design but a very nice touch in the end result!

Thank you Frank, I'm glad you like it. This is my first time using my drill guide and I thought it would add a nice detail to the bowl

Some good tips in this one, everyone does epoxy differently 🙂 great drilling rig set up, thanks for sharing

Thank you Brett, yes everyone uses epoxy differently, it largely depends on what brand or type of epoxy is available and the tools you have.

Thank you. I'm glad you like it. That drill guide is a new gadget I recently got, and this is the first time I've used it

Hello Steve, it is a bucket from which I sawed off the reinforcing edge. I do use release spray and have therefore been able to use it many times.
