Hi, will it be able to get rid of hyperpigmentation caused by genetics I have hyperpigmentation around my mouth (not my lips) and like the sides of my chin area, I have lots of close comedones and I have a few marks caused by acne from ages ago
I was debating on whether to get alpha arbutin TO or azelaic acid TO
I have combination skin and this is my skincare routine:
    - simple gel cleanser
    - Paula’s choice BHA 2% exfoliant (Wednesday & Saturdays nights only)
    - the ordinary 10% niaciamide 1% zinc (monday night only)
    - inky list caffeine eye cream + inky list brightening eye cream (I mix them both together with tiny amounts of each)
    - cerave moisturising lotion (not on eye area)
    - La Roche posay sunscreen invisble fluid
I don’t know if I should purchase both alpha arbutin + HA (the ordinary) and azelaic acid suspension 10% (the ordinary)
if I do get both I could for one week use the niacinamide 10% 1% zinc on the Monday night and then the week after on Monday night I could the alpha arbutin + HA the ordinary, and for azelaic acid since it’s exfoliating acid I could leave Saturday night for the Paula’s choice BHA 2% liquid exfoliant but for the Wednesday night instead of using Paula’s choice BHA 2% liquid exfoliant I could switch it for the ordinary azelaic acid suspension 10%, how does that sound? Or is it too much for my skin to handle
Can you give me some advice please? :)
Also if you’d like I can email some photos of my skin is it ok?

To add on to what the other commenter said, it’s best to apply over moisturizer as a last step if your too sensitive to it. Just make sure that everything has completely sunk into your skin and dried before applying the azelaic acid

hi i want to ask in how many months The ordinary azelaic acid removes all dark spots left from pimple marks. i m using it from 1.5 month and it has reduced my 60 percent of dark spots. should i continue to have faith in it ? will it removes my leftover marks too and black pigmentation around mouth? or should i add something else like alpha arbutin? will it remove all alone too if i used it for more month? im scared to use a new product because of facing purging again on a 60 percent cleared skin with no acne ?
