- 2016's Magnificent Seven was a remake of a remake, so... I think everyone expected it to have sins, right?
Next week: Action sins (again) and cartoon sins.
Remember, no movie is without sin! Which movie's sins should we expose next?!

this movie was a better suicide squad than the suicide squad.
yes yes it was
I'm just glad a backstory wasn't done on each of the seven men. So sick of that "mess."
I'm just glad a backstory wasn't done on each of the seven men. So sick of that "mess."
I thought I was the only one saying that! That's fantastic!
That isn't a very high bar to set though...
I told myself that I should stop drinking, but I'm not going to listen to some drunk who talks to himself.
yikes
Marcos Amparo ouch
gem stone ouchie my backs hurts
People love to say big words so they can look smarter.
Marcos Amparo Marcos Amparo loves to advertise by saying shitty jokes so he can disguiseas a good youtuber
6 is ridiculous 7 is magnificent but 8 is just damned hateful
and 9 is benign and 10 is Ben
Rixes that should have been a franchise each a parody of the other lol
Rixes and 4 is just fantastic
And eleven is an Ocean
@@IronShocker77 and 5 is just furious
The whole "getting shot a few times and surviving" is actually realistic. You should be sinning people getting shot once in the torso and dying INSTANTLY
Depending on the caliber and type of ammunition used, as well as whether or not they're wearing a bulletproof vest, but yeah. You've got yourself a solid point there :)
@@niklaswassermann9971 also he said stormtrooper level aim. In real life the ok corral shooting happened 2 m away from each other and only 3 people got shot so I’d say people aren’t too accurate.
If the bullet doesn't hit any vital organs, than you can just pull an Arthur morgan/ John Marston/ jack Marston and run away. It may hirt af, but you can survive
the historical nuances this movie did accurately is actually amazing.
Very valid. Many 19th century weapons especially for the first 70 years or so were not extremely reliable or powerful because of the flawed ball and powder method and people were still using those guns will into the 20th century because they were cheaper. Take for example one of the Dalton Brothers. Don't remember which. In the infamous Coffeyville raid where they tried to rob two banks at once the gang failed miserably and were nearly wiped out. This man was shot over 20 times in this incident lived to surrender and serve a 20 year prison sentence and die of old.age well into the 20th century
"The sex business in the old west was more profitable than the gold rush!" Yes. Yes it was.
Aleczander Ruggles Haha, totally beat me to it. Prostitution was rife, and actually became on of the easiest ways for women to gain independence.
True statement. Most gold prospectors spent all their hard earned gold in the saloons/whorehouses. So yeah, running a good saloon with lots of whores was WAY more profitable than digging in the dirt.
Yep. Towns were basically built around brothels, and the women needed more businesses around them for the women to spend money on and for the men to stick around a bit longer.
Aleczander Ruggles I was typing this comment and then I though to myself, somebody must've done it for me already. Thanks guy!
mine the miners.
6:52 you're making a joke, but you're actually correct. Prostitution was HUGE in the wild west, while few people actually found gold.
Yeah ironically many towns cropped up around gold rushes, but because prostitutes had the money to invest in other businesses, some of those towns became prosperous after the gold was gone.
I`m pretty sure he knew. But you just want to shine that psudo intellect of yours so...
nasty you said the same thing to the other guy up above.
jamie kendall Thank you for notifying me. Very kind.
Nasty McJackass Did you know that?
"The sex trade in the old west was more profitable than the gold rush."
Yep. It sure was. The women running and working the brothels reaped a far larger benefit from the gold rush than anyone that was actually digging for gold.
Most of those who did find gold spent it at the saloon and brothel! It was like TV or internet back then for them.
@Chris Crook because I was replying to a specific thing in the video. My comment doesn't make sense without the quote there as context.
Also towns were builded around the brothels, not the other way around.
@@wiictvchannel1112 or... and it try to follow me on this one, it was like bars and strip clubs for men who have recently become rich these days
I saw a documentary years ago that confirms this statement. It also explained that even though they weren’t allowed to vote, hookers wielded more political power than democratic and republican men combined. 📚
I would have taken off at least 1-2 sins for that Cavalry charge... cos goddamn, no green screen - 200 horses riding up on some fools at top speed?! That gets my blood pumping every time!
gmbrusselsprout yup
Seven Samurai did it first

This movie was very entertaining. Am I the only one who thinks so?
Shallow popcorn schlock. Not that thats a bad thing. They should have just made their own movie instead of trying to remake M7. I would have liked it more then.
On a side note, it was a good mindless flick if you ignore/never watched the original.
Jessica Cortez no
Jessica Cortez I liked it.
Jessica Cortez A lot of people like it. It's just very simple and straightforward, but not every movie has to be Memento.
I liked it. Not a movie that would ever win a best picture, but it works for entertainment.
When I watched this all I could think was:
"Discount Jennifer Lawrence" *ding*
DavoTGM she still hot as Fuck
Word
DavoTGM I thought the same thing when I saw this at the theater. lol
More like, UPGRADED Jennifer Lawrence.
David Harris Noooooo!
I feel like sins should have been REMOVED for them rolling credits when he said roll credits
"Roll cred- wait what? I called it for once?"
Yeah. This bugs me way more than it should!
Removing sins for actually perpetuating the cliche? That’s not how this works
CogitoErgoCogitoSum the whole reason the sin exists is because of the cliche where the movie says it’s name before credits roll. Cinema Sins expanded it to include every time a movie mentions its name, but that does not nullify its original form. Thus they are still perpetrating the cliche and therefore still get the sin.
Who's counting anyway?
6:23 Technically that is cantering, one step up from trotting and not quite galloping, for all your future horse related sins!
Thank you, now I dont have to write a comment about that!
Technically, since they are riding western, its loping, not cantering. :-)
Why is anyone still arguing that Greedo shot first?
We literally have hundreds of millions of eye witnesses that saw Han shoot Greedo in 1977 and also saw that Greedo didn't get off a shot until 20 years later.
Essero Eson
Amen brother!
I know what Jeremy said, but I don't think anyone is arguing.
+Adi Pramana so does anyone who has ever played Corruption of Champions, what's your point?
Essero Eson because Greedo shooting first is canon not han shooting first. #PrequelsRock
+Smokescreen 1138 its obviously not canon. script says Han shot first. therefore the canon is that oooohhhh idk Han shot first. Fucking troll just trying to start an argument about the prequels
Should've taken off a sin for the roll credits bit.
He doesn't do the "removing sins" thing much anymore.
NickDaGamer1998 he removed a sin from the John Wick video like, a week ago...
RoboSaurus should've...would've...could've
...
didn't. Deal with it.
+Matt Ortego he said "much" he doesn't do it as often as he used to cuz he's to uninspired to sin movies that might actually challenge him to do so
Either way, it definitely shouldn't have been a sin _added..._
Chris Pratt channels his inner western while still playing Chris Pratt in this movie. That being said, he was one of the best things about this movie.
There's nothing anyone could say that would make me dislike this movie. I love it. I was never bored watching it. The cast was just too good.
100% agree 😁
"Wait, are they actually rolling credits?" XD I have waited so long for this moment...
Erm... It already happened in the EWW The Punisher video, which they uploaded on 5. May...
now we just need to wait for a scene to contain a lapdance
Excellent timing, Cinemasins. I just watched this movie last night!
Also, missed opportunity for Captain Jack Sparrow's "I've got a jar of dirt. I've got a jar of dirt." for the closing joke sequence.
carlsiouxfalls The Pirates sequels are not typically remembered fondly.
carlsiouxfalls
lmao genious!
Na. Brian Regan was perfect.
It's still a meme.
You're adding a lot of sins for the large amount of hookers, but it's not a cliche. Prostitution was HUGE back then. It used to be THE business. Brothels were the ones to open up schools, hospitals, everything. So showing prostitutes in a lot of scenes makes sense. You have some history to brush up on, Mr. Sins.
👍👍👍🙏
Mr Johnny Sins... Ok nvm
Hell they were sometimes the most respected people in The West. There’s a reason why Wyoming was the first state to allow women to vote and is know as “The Equality State”
They should have sinned the use of Bass Reeves
What's even better: prostitution wasn't just sex! Someone men paid to simply look at a woman's undergarments!
"A map of a town that has literally 1 road" LOL
Old towns literally only had one road...That's why places are called "Main Street"
Those exist in Sweden lol
This is just like cheney, kansas. The road that has all business's was the main street.
@@wiictvchannel1112 if you define "old" as a couple hundred years. real old towns and cities are a maze of small streets and alleys

+Emma Moon To be fair, his name does provide fair warning.
I actually liked this movie. They had a great cast and good chemistry. I love the sins video too.
I have seen this movie twice and I thought that was Jennifer Lawrence until you said it wasn't!
I didnt even realize that
You've seen this shit twice? How many times have you watched the original masterpiece "The Seven Samurais" and the excellent 60's remake starring Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn among others? If the answer is none then you got some watching to do!
Is she Jennifer Lawrence twin? Lol.
@@eddiewinehosen6665 watched the originals more often. Watched this once in the cinema and once in class. It’s not a good movie but it beats any German teenromcom the teacher thinks is hip and cool or watching the 6th NS Documentary of the year.
Me, I’m dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it’s the honest ones you have to watch out for
No not really *MichaelMICHAEL* - What that quote means, is that someone who's known to always lie is predictable, you can expect that they'll try to turn on you and you can counter it.
Whereas someone who's known to "always" tell the truth is unpredictable, because they're actually so good at lying that no one knows until it's too late.
It's easy to have a reputation for being honest if none of the people you've lied to, survive to say otherwise.
Jack Sparrow quote
ThisName DoesntMatter That's the spirit ;)
88porpoise - No. Just no. Are you on crack? This literally just looked like you were trying to play some kind of paradox game and anyone with half a brain can tell that all you really did is go back and forth on the words honest and dishonest without actually making an argument that made sense.
... "- because you can never tell, when they're about to do something incredibly... stupid..."
Honestly, why did no-one else finish this damn quote?!
"Man with a gun doesnt shoot on a rapidly advancing Private Pyle"
Omg that made me lose my shit
My favorite moment was when suddenly the music from the og Magnificent seven broke out for the credits.
I can't believe you didn't sin how accurate the Gatling Gun was! From that distance the bullets would have been yards apart from each other (if they even made it that far). It would not have been swiss cheesing buildings and people.
He know pretty much nothing of guns, except for the fact that they don't have unlimited ammo.
@@josephbundra393 Neither do I, but even I thought this was incredibly off within 2 seconds
Yea I was super curious about the Gatling gun and how far it could be deadly. I don’t know much about it. But the round could not be to big I would guess. And they were like 300 yards away. Plus it only had 6 barrels it couldn’t have been ripping that many bullets off. I tried googling it but couldn’t find much
You know what I still like this movie. It was shot beautifully. The casting was awesome. And it had a lot of action. It was fun, even if the story wasn't shakespeare. But I'll admit, Cinema Sining this was like shooting fish in a barrel. It was a bit too easy.
Just Iron its a good movie
The flaws were obvious and in your face, but it was still an excellent movie, and I enjoyed it immensely.
Check out the original movie though, that was great.
Calm yourself, blood dragon. This movie is a remake of the Magnificent 7, directed by John Sturges. That is the "original" I was referring to, and it is an awesome movie. It was directly inspired by 7 Samurai (Not 7 samurais, "Samurai" is both a singular and plural word, like "Jedi".), which I have never seen, but I have heard that it is also an amazing movie, which is why they made the original Magnificent 7 movie in the first place.
At first I thought the tree scene was stupid too while watching this video, but I actually bought the Grimm's Fairy Tales book, and that's what happened in the true Cinderella story. As well as the rest of Cinderella's story in this movie. Huh.
Yeah, I loved the film...but two things irked me about it, stylistically. One, the brown color filter that darkened people's faces in THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY. Second, while James Horner was a great composer...his score seemed so comparatively bland to Bernstein's theme. I want to be able to hum my Westerns' themes when I leave the theater. The "new" score just wasn't too hummable.
It's a cup, with dirt in it! I call it cup of dirt!
breaking new ground there, Copernicus
I got a jar of dirt! I got a jar of dirt.
And guess what's inside it.
Kevin Knutson but what does it do?
I before E... ALWAYS
djordan22 no Brian it's I before E except after C and when sounding like "A" as in neighbor or weigh and weekends and holidays and all throughout May and you'll always be wrong no matter WHAT you say
2:51 You... you can't be serious. Notice a difference between Denzel and literally everyone else in that bar? And the time period? They all reached for their guns because he's black and they're racist.
Well yes thats how it was back then
The west was fairly progressive in that way.
Exactly!!
There were black cowboys. Hated and kicked out of everything, but there were black cowboys
Believe it or not back I the day that would be perfectly normal.
Still waiting for the Indomitable Six, Benevolent Five, Virtuous Four, Spiteful Three, Bitter Duo and Antagonized One
We've had 3 and thank God no one wants to do a remake of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. For one we have plenty of those, High Plains Difter, Fist Full of Dollars. Damn ole Clint made a bunch of great films we should be glad they were so good they'd only ruin them, like this movie pisses all over the original Magnificent Seven.
my beef with the movie is they talk about how much of badasses everyone is instead of showing us how badass they are.
Chuck Osorio I think they showed off quite a bit of badassness in the climax.
Good point
Chuck Osorio
This is actually true.
Chuck Osorio I agree!
Chuck Osorio that's my beef with John Wick.
I was just bothered with them "shooting themselves in the foot" by allowing a messenger to go inform Bogue of what happened. He was scheduled to return in 3 weeks anyway to get the town's payment (or simply kill everyone). Why not simply kill the first 20 guys then lay in wait for the unaware Bogue to return with (presumably) far fewer than 200 guys?
very good point, the movie would have been over in 30 minutes
I presume Sam Chisolm did not want to risk Bartholomew Bogue not coming back in person, since he was adamant about that point.
0:00 I *love* how well the two intros mesh together into a tune.
**BING. BING. BING.**
**THUM THUM THUM-THUM**
**BING. BING. BING.**
I love these videos, and generally you, Sir, are spot on. In the spirit of cinema sinning, however, I must sin sin # 53: those horses are not trotting - that there's a canter. The shot from behind is a gallop. The only one to feature trotting is the last and they are coming out of a canter into a trot.
.....yes, why would anyone notice that and take the time to dredge up a pointless observation? Reasons.
50 people did it before you... So...
No sin for taking the entire introduction of Denzel's character coming straight out of Django Unchained's script? All he was missing is a German accent!
lol
EllDeeCee I was thinking the exact same thing, like this is his job and he STILL didn't see it. He has even done a video on django unchained.
Zekfan did the original Magnificent 7 do the "I'm a US Marshall" dr Schultz-talking-down-the-mob bit first? I've seen it, but quite awhile ago.
Zekfan Django was also a remake
No, it wasn't. They took the main character's name from a spaghetti western called Django, which starred Franco Nero, who did appear in Django Unchained. But the story was written by Quentin Tarantino and didn't derive anything from the original Django, aside from the main character's name.
I actually really like this movie in spite of all of its flaws I think it's a really fun movie, just not any Oscar contender.
Yeah, me too actually.
It's not a bad remake, but the revenge subplot really brought it down a lot. The great thing about the original was that it wasn't about revenge, it was about doing the right thing, at least once.
Yeah but "the original" was already a pale copy of akira kurosawa's the 7 samurais.
If you haven"t watched it, do.
Sorry I hurt your feelings, i just forgot to put a ":)" at the end to not sound too bossy, would that have been better ?
I'm just really annoyed that most people don't know the kurosawa's one, which is beautiful.
And I'm french so I just translated the title "les sept samuraïs" without checking, no need to insult geniuses by affiliating them to me :)
you that right!
C'mon, man! This is the LAST MOVIE that James Horner scored before he died, and you STILL haven't said, "James Horner is dead, and that sucks!" *DING*
I just finished watching TM7 for the first time. I'm surprised you didn't sin the scene where Faraday blows The Two-Gun Kid's ear off and then tells him a warning (or something; I forget now b/c I watched it in parts)....IN THAT SAME EAR! At such close proximity to the gunshot, all Kid would've been hearing is a constant ringing during that time. Hope he's good at reading lips!
And that this whole scene was basically a semi-public execution/murder in broad daylight with people walking up and down in the background! Did this sort of stuff really not bother anyone back then? Sure did when happening in the saloon lol
@@flo1156 well nobody bothered 2 guys pointing a fucking rifle and a revolver at a random guy and leading him to a cave with rats.
You can't make a private Pyle joke without doing a everything wrong with Full Metal Jacket. Do a video for FMJ.
That's easier said than done.
i dare you to sin it
Horatio Nelson nothing is wrong with that movie though
I get the impression that Jeremy doesn't sin movies he really really likes.

6:45 interestingly prostitution was actually propably the second best business in the "wild" west if we take gold trade as number one.. In fact many villages evloved around such businesses.
THis might quincidentially be one of the few things that is more or less accurate here (since what is usually presented as "cowboying" did not really happen like that at all. cowboys mostly were herder for cows, its in the name.)
"they took Lancelot's attack scene seriously" ahahaha best sin ever great!!!
This film was better than I expected.

The noob under the rock Suicide Squad is a lot worse than this XD
The gun standoff scene is perfect as it is, the suspense is great imo
That Blazing Saddles at 18:10 really was perfect.
How many times do you watch a movie before you come up with the sins, like is it once or twice and you're good at spotting them, or like 5-10 and you're meticulous. Just Curious.

Fun Fact:
This movie is a remake of a another movie (that I don't know if is a western or something else) that was a remake of the original movie.
The original movie was a Japanese Drama/Action film back in 1954 called "Seven Samurai" Directed and Edited by Akira Kurosawa.
The story took place in 1586 during the Sengoku Period of Japanese history. It follows the story of a village of farmers that hire seven ronin (masterless samurai) to combat bandits who will return after the harvest to steal their crops.
So this is like the third remake of a very old Japanese Film.
Jesus Christ, some of the more faceless characters in the originals death scenes had more meaning behind it
I know this is a silly complaint.. But ffs the horses were cantering in most of the "trotting" shots.
Pokemon Maniac Jak Yes! Thank you!
nope, sprint for a horse would be a gallop
ThisName DoesntMatter it's like walk=walking, trot=speed walk, canter=jog, gallop=sprint
I was also correcting him on that one under my breath. lol
I came to the comments just to say this. Horsepeople unite. ;)
Look, I know there are virgins in our own age, so why does this movie seem to think every woman in the old west was a hooker? And why did they decide a mexican town would not be a proper setting for the plot as in the original? And since when did American Indians become the ninjas of the west? And of course, since this is the 21st century, every movie has to have that one "special" woman who is full of potential despite being suppressed in an age of misogyny. Just watch the original folks.
Nathan Higgins Actually in the old West more hookers did make more money than gold miners.
I frankly got a kick out of her striking a defiant pose and smug look while saying, "I aim to *fight*." Seriously...I'm as pro girl-power as the next, but...even feminists have to admit that moment is a LITTLE precious.
Still, as much as I love it, she shouldn't have been there. Women were terribly oppressed. You know the whole the nine yards; taught, spoken to, treated, and labeled as lesser beings/objects. Being able to get out of your own shell would be extremely difficult. But defying your husband? Stealing the town coin?! Gaining a man's respect? I'm extremely surprised she was left alive and in one piece.
There is an excellent episode of Adam Ruins Everything about the Wild West that shows why a lot of the stereotypes about women in the west are actually wrong. The Wild West was actually a very progressive as far as women were concerned, as they set up most of the towns, while the men were off prospecting. they were actually able to make a lot of money, and since without them the towns would die off, they were often very well treated, and in some towns even had the right to vote, well before the 19th amendment to the constitution was being considered. In one territory, before it became a state(i don't remember which, but it was one of the W ones i think) they actually refused to become a state if women weren't allowed to retain their right to vote
The number of men who left their families in 'civilization' and headed west directly resulted in the number of hookers. and there are women in the towns that aren't hookers
maybe they thought that if they set the movie in California, Arizona, New Mexico, texas, or Florida it would trigger too many Republicans. but yes it would give a better reason for why the peasants couldn't shoot.
While there are may different tribes/nations/peoples of the, American Indians, where better at hit & run tactic, scouting, and in the old westerns I do remember the thing of "if you see one then you're most likely surrounded" do you know what moccasins where for?
Now as for frontier women. they, out of necessity, where harder, tougher than the gentlefolk of the cities. they could fix the barn while shooting ingens and breastfeeding their infant at the same time. in the wild gender rolls aren't quite as important
Oh, thought it was about the original. The original was so cool.
Anyone else catch themselves giving movies sins when watching them after watching all these videos
MARSHALL WIESE yes and in the guys voice in my head for some reason 🤪
MARSHALL WIESE
Me at ready player one
Yes! 😂
Yessss I was watching a movie and i yelled foreshadowing and my brother just looked at me
When I saw this movie's end scene, I imagined Jeremy saying: "Roll credits. Oh wait that's what they do." Close enough.
You better remove sins from John Wick 2 when you see that they don't label the cities when showing establishing shots!
In Rome? Vatican Ariel view? Yep, no subtitle saying Rome!
I await to see sins removed for that reason
quigleyfox well yes, then they *gain* a sin for not labelling the cities at all.
See, that's the point of the Sins: you're damned if you do, damned if you don't.
18:26 The moment I suddenly realised they stared in Training Day.. 🤦♂️
Evil Bad Guy: "Seven men rode into town and dispatched 22 of the best guns money can buy...."
CinemaSins: "Well, they DID wear them down with several minutes of staring." Man, I lost it right there!
And out of curiosity, with all the money the townspeople had, why couldn't they just move? I know it's a principle thing, but damn, these bad guys threw an ax into the back of a woman! They ain't joking! Give them the land, let them settle in, and in five years the government with wrestle it away from them so it can run a railroad thru the town.
This was the most underrated movie of 2016, FREAKING LOVED this movie!
Star Trek Beyond was a silly movie. Then again, almost everything Star Trek is silly, especially the fans. I would rather watch this movie again than anything Star Trek.
They did bring up some valid points, but yeah this movie is one of the best remakes I've seen in years
I just love blanket statements about an entire year, especially with things like film. I find it hard to think a movie starring Chris Pratt was in any way underrated. It was a big Hollywood movie, try watching something that didn't cost millions to make. Those movies are the ones that lack appreciation.
John Pero - For me its is the Accountant. That movie was fun.
This movie was also paired with the trailer for the sci-fi adventure film Passengers, another movie from Sony Pictures starring Chris Pratt also released that year. I remember the bonus track for Magnificent Seven included the preview for Passengers during the four years I had this movie on DVD as a high school student.
So I would say it actually got a little more promotion and recognition from mainstream viewers than we think despite being a remake of classic cowboy movies like the original M7 film and also the Seven Samurai which came before. Another thing to keep in mind that the cast members are famous actors too known my younger fans. Some of the supporting cast members later joined the set for the show Yellowstone.
So perhaps the film is remembered by some generations of people, especially fans of the western genre like me. However, few people talk about it today, but it still carried out a legacy nonetheless.
this movie was the definition of "meh"
Agreed.
The Battlefront Grind you mean the definition of watchable
Aaron Sanders better movie than rogue one.
Aaron Sanders Yes, "watchable" is a more suitable word for this movie.
Alistair Shaw both 6/10 imo
Sins or no, I appreciate the screen time you gave the leprechaun in this. ;)
Love that part.
The scene of him giving the warrant to the people remind me of the scene of the same thing happening in django

this was such a good movie
The slow build of the relationship between Faraday and Vasquez made the whole movie for me
11:37 "noted linguist Tony Montana.." hahahahaha man dont know why but that made me laugh so hard
Gotta say, I quite enjoyed this movie. Course it couldn't surpass the original, but I think it did pretty well. Even knowing most of the cast was going to die (if they stayed true to the original) I was actually pretty sad when they did go, which means they did a good job character-wise.
I knew he'd put blazing saddles over the church scene
I did not realize those Gatling feed magazines held 5000 rounds...

I loved the magnificent seven and didn't notice any of this when watching 😂😂
Dude, started watching the movie just now and only got thru the first church scene and I could hear your voice and Goldmember's "I love gooold"...had to stop and finally watch this vid...you nailed it in my head and right here. Ha! I think I've been watching these things for too long. :)
"Wait, are they actually rolling credits?"
Why are intros in every movie are always a sin?
Venomous 360 because it's more of an ego stroke to have such long opening credits, they can and often do put those same titles on the closing credits as well. No one came to see how made it;they want to see the film itself.
We spend millions to watch it so it's a fair deal in the first place
Mathew P no, we don't, we spend a few dollars to watch the movie and collectively it turns into million dollars, you're being banal. It really shouldn't be a big deal if you ask me
Because all the things said in CinemaSins’ videos are jokes not really meant to be taken seriously.
Kim Saddler day it louder for the people in the back
"This isnt Leonidas going to war with Persia for god sake!" LOL
I love these "Everything Wrong" videos. It is always good to see there is media for the IFB people.
Wait a minute! Was i supposed to remember the characters names?
This movie was a fun (albeit shallow and ridiculously unrealistic) action romp, until the narration at the end where I couldn't help myself from laughing out loud in the cinema. It was just too stupid. And yes, sadly, I did see this in the cinema.
this "movie" is a remake of a westernized version of a Japanese film so we all knew it would be bad
Never saw the original 7 Samurai, but the original Magnificent 7 was truly amazing. The remake was pretty fun as well, though a little much at times.
Of course, the question is, was there really a need for a remake?
Well then do ! Kurosawa is the greatest japanese director and one of the greatest film director ever, and his 7 samurais is a masterpiece
Check out Sanjuro, wild dog and redbeard as well, even though all of his filmography is worth watching
I'm french, I've never used the word samurai in english before
And I wasn't trying to sound "smart and cinematically educated", I was genuinely suggesting movies, they're really good, you should try them :)
Again, I forgot to add smileys to soften what I said ^^
And I'm a girl, even though I'm used to being called dude
This movie was ok. Not great, not terrible just ok. In my opinion, Antoine Fuqua's best movie is Tears of the Sun. Sorry Training Day fans (and yes it is a good movie).
I was always taught that attacking troops need a minimum of a 3-1 attack majority over defending troops, and 5-1 is better.
So 50 people is under 3-1 but better than 5-1 if the attacking force numbers 200. And then they add to the number later as well so those odds get even better.
Now, it does also depend upon the nature of who you have, people with nowhere else to go defending all they have against people who might not exactly think what they are attacking is worth dying for tends to change the battlefield a little bit.
All in all I tend to think I would take my chances with 50 people or more, armed with rifles in a defended position against an incoming attacking force.
But all that being said, I did enjoy this film.
Those numbers are for trained fighting forces... Not people shown to be incapable of hitting the broad side of a barn from the inside.
But yeah, i would be comfortable with the odds, especially with the force multiplier of explosives on my side.
Boot-scoot'n biscuits 😂, that one almost made me spill my soda 😂, this narrator is funny
really enjoyed this movie and it suprised the fuck outta me
Mugen Ittoryu it indeed was a good movie
Did Cinema Sins do Tombstone yet ? I haven't found it, so if y'all haven't, PLEASE DO TOMBSTONE !
That one is a classic, but not worthy of sins, maybe. 😉
@@santiagolopez3909 You have a point lol I've watched that movie an unhealthy amount of times 😭
All the points to you sir for referencing Brian Regan's "Cup of dirt" at the end. 👏👏👏👏
The line "I believe that bear was wearin people cloths" should have been worth a sin off!
Please do "Everything Wrong With A Clockwork Orange"!
3:40 I'm having Blazing Saddles flashbacks.
does two gun bill look like cricket from it's always sunny to anyone else?
6:20
Dude, it was the old west. Reputation was everything

Please sin Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz!
YESSSSSSSSS
Can't forget The World's End.
Oh yess! SIn that too
I love the Cornetto trilogy, but it's definitely not without sin.
I was thinking about watching this movie. Pretty sure I'm going to now. Excellent commentary.
Oh I've been waiting for this one
EWW Schindlers List, i dare you
aahnecroth I don't think they have ever done a movie that's a true story.
They have Sinned movies "based on a true story", Titanic for example, but only movies that stray too far from actual events _(ie facts)_ for the sake of adding 'drama' or 'tension'. Or if their "history" is incredibly innacurate.
aahnecroth Ding! red coat is red.
Foxtrot369 Yup right there! Like the conjuring!
man0z Lol
I was missing the toll booth on the trail into town.
Oh yeah, a Mongo.
Good ol'e Wock Widge
"Man with a gun doesn't fire on a rapidly advancing Private Pyle." Probably the best line you guys have ever written. Nearly fell out of my chair from laughing so hard.
Thank you Cinema Sins for covering the remake of the Magnificent Seven. Any plans to cover the original for sins?
