Love Load to be fair, Reload not so much, but still enjoy it. The Outlaw Torn is a fucking banger and a great song to end an album with. It probably helped I got into earlier Metallica and Load at the same time as each other as a young punk.
The House That Jack Built, Hero of the Day, and Mama Said are incredible. Bleeding Me and The Outlaw Torn's lengths are absolutely justified and would be far worse if they were slimmed down - they're supposed to be slow burn epics. You can make the argument Load is a bit bloated, but I absolutely disagree with nearly every take said here. Load and Reload are severely overhated records.

Does Kirk replace Dave after all?
I will agree. Megadeth did it way better with Cryptic Writings in this era. Even the worst on that album tops almost everything on this in my opinion. Until It Sleeps, and Outlaw Torn were the only pretty good ones
