This would be the perfect yacht to start with. Not too expensive, but still everything you ever need and lots of room inside! Big enough for a vacation in the med.
@@nemisrepppet4236 A yacht is a sailing or power vessel used for pleasure, cruising, or racing. I am not sure what a yatch is. It is such fun to see an ignoramus 'correct' someone who is right.

I thought these were one the nicest boats available when I was a teenager, the other one being a Moonraker 36. Things have certainly moved on since then. Thanks again Nick for another great tour.
That is a very well cared for boat for a late 1980s yacht. It has nice classic lines. I would not be surprised if someone with deep pockets replaces the engines, and all the other hidden technology in the boat to be up to 2022 or later standards while preserving the classic look as much as possible.
Absolutely Beautiful Yacht For 97.500 pounds. So Much Space. Vintage Boat . Perfect for people over 50s like Me. BIG THANKS NICK FOR MAKING THEM PERFECT VIDEOS. 👍👍👍👍🚤🚤😎😎
Hi Nick, Now that is a intresting one this Princess 414 from 1987 and a boat with a real keel that we also not see anymore with Princess this boat cuts through the waves great I love the galley in the front with the dinette sleeps four with 2 heads great thank you Nick for this great show of a Classic nice refit
It's nice to see how yachts have developed over time, This still looks great for it's age, love the seating area's below decks. Nice tour Nick thank you.
Normally, a Princess becomes a Queen. But sometimes, it´s better, when a Princess remains as a Princess. Such a lovely one, even if she has some thirty plus years on her shoulders. Thanks for this, compared to the others ones, quite uniqe tour, Nick.
Nick, It's Like you and I, an oldie but a goodie! Reminds me of my neighbors '72 48' Grand Banks when I went with them to cruise from North Miami to Ft, Lauderdale where his father was listing it with a broker,
considering the changes from then to now and how different yachts look it makes you wonder what they'll look like in the 2050s.......can't begin to imagine
It says a lot that a roughly 35 year-old Princess still has a nearly £100k asking price. I think that goes to show you the quality with which these were built. Another great tour! Thanks!
I had to look at the price a second time! Even though it is an older boat I still think it would be a great chance to get on the water, on a more than decent boat, I am quite fond! Thanks Nick.
It’s a testament to the build quality that with some refurbishment the vessel can be brought back to like new condition. The hulls were likely overbuilt as they did not have cad design systems that led to using much less material. However, there is no replacement for displacement! These project boats are very interesting to me Nick as something like this is all I can afford at the moment. Thank you for showing such a diverse mix.
Boy she had a great story to tell in all her character I really appreciate the effort to keep her going. She’s a fine lady waiting to be treated properly not trashed like some Florida party barge. She just really possesses a presence that speaks to me I’m in love
Other than the transom, you wouldn't know it was 35yo.The refit was well done.I'm very happy to hear the engines are renewed also for the fee.I'd be able to live aboard and put 'The Loop' happily.Thank you Nick.Hello Marianne.
Nice little older boat, the refit is the perfect amount of upgrade and has extended the lifespan and future resale value. Great value and this could be a perfect buy for so many different types of boat shoppers ( a liveaboard for a single or couple, a weekender for a family, a day boat for a good sized group of friends or even a cruiser to go on a longer vacation with).
Nice size original boat, character and very clean. Perfect for families, children in V berths. Fact it has two sitting areas with tables, so breathing space. Thank you Nick 👍👌
Yeah baby! That's what I'm talkin' about. Get some of those old yachts up here with prices that we can wrap our heads around. It would be cool to see some of the big yachts from the 80's and even older. 60ft plus. See how rich people rolled 30+ years ago and what they cost today. Love it.
Aft cabin boats are a bit like cheating. Pay for a 40 foot berth and get a 50 foot interior. Quite a treat. And the "refresh" of this beauty simply removed the wrinkles and polished the brite work, making it look like a classic while feeling like new. Thanks, Nick.
I've always been on the fence with aft cabin boats - they give so much extra interior space but the exterior is just not quite as useable for outdoor living plus I find it puts you up above the water level too much. It would be so nice to have the larger cockpit that extends onto the swim platform (like a beach club) but then if you want a nice spacious owners cabin it means having to buy an extra 15-20ft of boat.
Now, that's what I call a boat! I know it's getting on a bit, but the quality shines through everywhere you look. I'd probably want to upgrade a few bits, (like those propellers), but very little. At 35 ish years old it's probably going to have an really thick hull for strength and I reckon a pair of fin-stabilisers wouldn't hurt. I'd be proud to own her. A great tour as always, thank you very much Mr Burnham sir
Am a bit late to the party watching this one. What a nice boat. Back in the 1970's my friends date had a boat with an aft cabin- cannot recall the make Niv
Very nice boat. An Aft cabin adds a lot of interior space 👍🏻 I would love to own that boat. I liked that it had the same bollards that we have on our boat. A very good type of bollard hated by those who do not understand how to use them 😎
I love the layout on this boat. Reminds me of some Broom boats. Brilliant for extended holidays or even to live on. Brilliant walk through as usual Nick.
Best video ever! Looks very much like my 1986 Princess 385 except I have no aft cabin but a guest cabin instead of the redundant dinette. OK, the exterior looks are a bit out of fashion but apart from that, I wouldn't want any more modern boat due to all overly complicated shit they put in modern engines and drives. Those old Volvos are very reliable and easy to maintain.
Hey Nick I think that I'm slightly jealous of this yacht because it seems to have aged much better than me lol This is a good way to get into owning a yacht without giving the bank manager too much of a coronary, the refit has brought this back to its former glory. Have a good one bud
Hi Nick, just my perfect layout, galley and dinette down, salon uncluttered and rear main cabin. Ideal for marina/offshore/river living 👍👍👍👌 Cheers DougT
This is a lovely boat for the money. Right from my childhood, I used to live in a harbour town in the Netherlands and every now and then a similar boat to this (or even this model) would moor in our small marina and all the kids would go out to see it. They were quite special back in the day, especially as you could go onto the sea without too much hassle unlike our 'regular' motorboat stock.
Remember seeing these when I was a student at Portsmouth Polytechnic in the late 80's. I lived in a house owned by a lawyer who specialised in the legal transfer of boats and so forth, so we ended up tagging along a few times to the marinas.
She is fantastic for age. I wouldn't change a thing. So much as you said for your money. If had this kind of money, I would be biting their hands off to buy it. She perfect in size and comfort for myself and my wife. I need that lottery win tomorrow.. Thank you so much Nick for showing us around
In 1981 we chartered a Princess 32 from Hoseason's on the Caledonian Canal I can see a lot of that boat in this model, Hoseasons also had a boat called the Highland Admiral and that was very similar to this boat. An awesome holiday the weather was awful , but, good company and incredible scenery. Everyone should spend a night in a small boat on Loch Ness.

I expected not to like this boat. I rarely do with the older ones, regardless of what has been done with them in recent years. But this one is quite nice!
Love these boats from the 80s! They were so over engineered compared to a lot of modern boats. I do think though that its only a lot of boat for the money if your hands on otherwise they can be a financial drain. I'm pretty much restoring a Fairline Phantom 32, but luckily doing it all myself otherwise it wouldn't make sence. Keep up the vids Nick as I always look forward to them.
Amazing use of interior space. It somehow looks twice as big as modern boats of it's size. Maybe has less insulation and other things that make new ones more compact
