I prefer wetsanding over drysanding because it saves ALOT of sandpaper (if you constantly clean the paper and don't sand over dry areas). But the only bad thing about wetsanding is I absolutely hate having to wash in between the edges of panels when the dry clear coat gets dry (especially if you forget to wash the car before going into the weekend).
Great video; just in the right time since I will soon be sanding my project. Question though, the paint Is very oxidized. How do I get the oxidation off.
Any tips in painting narrow tubes such as bike frame? im having a hard time hitting those narrow spots, ends up having spots where the paint not gloss finish.
Im wet sanding a plastic front grill off of a 91 chevy silverado pickup. its a lot to get in between the grill slots. Ive been using 320 grit and sanding in a swirling motion in small areas and moving across in that way. Its still leaving swirl marks. will the paint cover the swirl marks or do I need to go to a finer grit. Just trying to save some time here. Whats your take on steel wool for wet sanding as well.
Great tips, whenever i sand my primer i start with 400 grit then 600 and finalize on 800 (dry sanding) but even though after that i get sanding scratches after laying clearcoat, please advise.

Hi Tony, I bought some shopline JP354 primer. It's a 2:1 ratio. My question is after I mix it up do I have to wait before spraying or can I start spraying as soon as I am done mixing. Love the videos. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks
@@3rekoatskustoms929 This is why I recommend wrapping it with plastic wrap. It will last a few paint jobs easy like that! ruclips.net/video/x96_C3nAdbs/видео.html watch that~

There is a set time for paint products. You could wait 5-10 minutes and it should be ready for spray.
Great tips love the garage.
Thank you man!
@@HowToPaintYourCar Hey. Tony are there any issues with the len becoming cloudy from over spray with the gun Bubb? I'm really thinking of buying one.

Hello! 👋
Is it true that companies design sandpaper with materials that lubricate as your dry sanding to duplicate wet sanding without water mess.
Never heard of that, but there are grades of sandpapers and grits. Kovax makes a superior sandpaper for sure.
That’s a waste of money you can buy the plastics cheap
Not for restoration or collector’s item.
