Paddleboarding with Lennart the dog!

Out chilling on the waters a "warm" summer day in Northern Norway.
Our first trip out on a paddleboard together, it went okay until he suddenly fell off 200 meters from shore!
Lennart is a mix between Kooikerhondje and Danish-Swedish Farmdog.

Did you have to train the hound to be used to the board on dry land first?
I really wanna teach my muttling to be ok with the board/water.
