I am not a mechanic but I replaced it in 5 minutes approx
You don't have to unplug the throttle body because you gonna end up with that RPM to high
Replace it from the passenger side just by touching and feeling the sensor that is hold by 1 bolt.
I also bought the sensor bank 1 and bank 2 from ebay for $15 dollars and works the same as the factory original one.no difference.
Were you able to do this without removing anything from the engine bay? Last time I did this I had to remove a bunch of shit from the engine bay

For anyone doing this, tighten the sensor bolt first before plugging it in. I was going crazy trying to tighten it with the sensor plugged in

Hi, It knows if it is a sensor on each side or there are 2 sensors on each side.
In my Infiniti it says (Sensor A, Bank 2) will there be sensor A and sensor B on the side of the camshaft ?
Congratulations for your videos.
Not suppose to clean the throttle body according to Infinity. You have to reset the idle adjustment with the scan tool if you touch the valve since it will be out of adjustment. Good video, I will remove the throttle body but keep it plugged in.
Yes you are correct since they're really sensitive,but many have done so including I. And it will throw off the idle which you can reset by doing the pedal procedure no need for scan tool. Great advise . Don’t recommend unplugging anything you don’t need to . Clips are the worse anyway .

Can you explain the symptoms you was getting from having a faulty sensor ?
Sure,car was jerking as soon as I accelerated mainly around 1000rpm to 1800rpm then proceeded to normal. Only happens in complete stops though.

What kinda socket do you need for the 4 throttle body bolts?
Mines didn't use sockets I used hex keys

My 05 FX35 while stopped suddenly shut off. I have no check engine light on. Has that ever happened to you?
Same reason,it just shut off while I was stopped at a red light,I turned it off and tried starting it again,it hesitated but turned on after getting home it threw me P0345.
There's 2 sensors bank 1 crankshaft position sensor
Bank 2 camshaft position sensor
It will also be early signs of sensors going out. Recomend Oem sensors only it'll be the best option and replace in pairs

@@wedster93 Can you please elaborate why use OEM sensors only? My G35 is throwing P0345 code as well and I was thinking about getting a sensor from advanced auto.
Unless you are midgets, you can do this from left side without removing single hose or anything.
Changed mine and noticed the car eats more gas than before anyone know why?
Im so fuckin mad i have to do this again. 2nd one to go out. I think heat kills the sensor.
replace it from the bottom and you don't have to reset the throttle body
easier from the engine bay,also i had to relearn my throttle body since i cleaned it.

Hey I changed bank one of cam shaft sensor and car ran perfect then I changed the power steering pump and now car is extremely sluggish in first until it reaches second car runs fine (2005 fx35 ) can you help ?
Is there any check engine light? Try checking again to see if you left anything loose. Also fluid should be double check as well.
Yes check engine light is on , Fluids are good , I’m thinkn note be a coil ? Are sensor
@@Lee-cy7df try getting that check engine light scanned to get the code. It could be misfire in cylinder 1. But best option would be to scan the check engine

If you don’t clear the code will you still have the symptoms?
No. The symptoms wont be there anymore but the computer hasnt reset istelf meaning that light will stay on. If its still going to present an issue for the ECU it will put the vehicle in limp mode
Hey man I have a white 06 VQ g35 that starts and idles for 5 mins then stalls. Sensors changed, new TB, cleaned maf, no additional codes. Engine is good at idle but just bogs out slowly. Any thoughts. Thanks
did you do the throttle body calibration after putting in the new?
@@wedster93 yes throttle relearn. New spark plugs. When I hard reset to unplug/ reconnect the battery the car starts and idles again with the same bog out. Idle is strong within a few mins engine dies. This is as far as I got from a no start
@@BoOmBaMan Try checking your O2 sensors , and spark plugs as well as coilpack
@@wedster93 the idle is still good with no misfire. Spark plugs are new NGK iridium.

I found the green plug , but there is no sensor ?? Why
Had to come back on here as a beginner , this video is great . Sensor 2 is on the driver side , I found another green plug , that wasn’t it . Sensor 2 is right next to that. Hardest part was the Damb Clip !!!!!!! Other then that all great and all lights are now gone . Thanks !!!
And I stripped one of the bolts on the throttle body...... Noooooooo
