This is the type of video i was looking for. All the “beginner videos” on you tube all talk the game lingo like we suppose to know what they are. What’s tiers? what’s BZ? What’s 5.2? This video is explains everything perfectly and easily to understand.
Just started Albion since my friend recommended it to me because of the East server. I'm not used to sandbox MMOs so I'm kinda overwhelmed with what to do. Decided to look up a beginner's guide and found yours which helps tremendously! I like the way you structure the guide - makes it easier to follow even if I don't know anything yet and I appreciate the tips and advices given with every section, which prepared me on what to look forward to. Thank you and looking forward to more videos like this 👍
Thanks for making the guide. With the release of SEA server, it is way too hard to find updated content and guides. I wish you could make an updated version of Fame Farming guide. The Weapon Overview video saved all of my group's life because we didn't know which weapon to go for and thank you so much for that. All the other videos say "Open World" but open world is so crowded that there is no way for any of us solo players can farm safely. I don't mind losing my gear, but I mind spenind 1minute just to move from pack to pack for a 5k xp mob.
I started today, and played for like 5 or 6 hours... Most I've played a game in a while, I've got tier 3 equipment running a DPS reaver that uses a quarterstaff. I've done a few duals and it seems good, also started farming with my ox to get tier 4-5 gear soon!
Before I watched this video I didn’t know that there was a fast travel option so i had to ride my mount from one of the towns by the ocean to the city in the center of the map.
Very informative! Thank you, I’ve been playing a week now. Love how the game plays on mobile phone. However, Once I get my pc up and running (broken power button) I think I’ll continue on PC. Only thing lacking is group play at lower levels. I spent a bit of money to acquire some quick silver and exp gains. Currently trying to figure out what build I like best. I’m playing a Shadowcaller main hand, Muisak offhand, scholar cowel, hellion armor, guardian plate boots lastly Thetfords cape. Around 1478, I’m not too sure what I should do from here I’m kind of scared to venture out of yellows zones this brand new. I am currently looking for a guild. I do have a couple questions, so if I go to a t5 zone I should use t5 gear? I am currently (mostly) rocking t7 gear and the repair bill is not worth it in lower zones. Or can I just run t4 gear in the same tier zones? Same questions with the solo dungeons. The build I’m rocking let’s me solo dungeons pretty well.
Starting this game today on Mobile and glad I've been informed of your channel. Hoping I can start a decent Sword and Shield build cuz ive always enjoyed a tank type build however i know this is a classless game but just maybe I can make something work Would you suggest to stay on the tutorial island til a certain point or just learn the basics and get thru it to get started?
You should leave tutorial island asap. ( unless you want to collect stone to sell later ) get some fame gather a bit and if you want you can join faction warfare if you stay in yellow blue you wont lose anything.
@@TheRealMulli no problem ^^ if i remember right. there is a minimum ip requirement like 700 or something. but when you have enough points you can buy chests with it and get silver/fame books from them. helping you level up a bit faster :D
@@TheRealMulli you get the books and silver bags from the chests. You can buy the chests at your faction leader. The person where you flag up ( when i get home i will check out what its actually called cant remember the exact name )
So is this game just basically you gather stuff to try to get good gear? Then what? Like what’s the point? No story mode or anything? What about world bosses? Raids? Anything like that?
Are you playing on the East server? How much ping are you getting? I used to get like 280-300 ping on West server. Now I get ~50-60 ping on East. I stopped playing a few months ago now returning on East because of such good ping. Hopefully I'll stick around longer this time.
red zones you have to flag for pvp to attack someone who is not flagged. when you flag in red zone an kill a player you get negative rep. so if your in red zone you can be killed to a flagged player think of them like bandits even if your not flagged.
thanks i will try this game, im not really into MMORPG. but watching my brother play it seems fun so i will try it, i'm thinking of becoming a merchant and a sideline fighter :)
You can't own the market. People own the crafting stations used to make your gear. They can tax you whenever you try to use their station so they make money, but I'm not a capitalist, so I wouldn't ever try and buy a piece of land since it could usually cost a huge amount of money. Often times, people rent land to make money, but again, it's a long, complicated process. My point is, the market is not owned by anyone, but the items in the market are from players.
Basically, everything from gear to consumables are Player made and can only be got from the Marketplace, which players put bids/orders to buy & sell stuff. Also you don't buy land, only rent it, and can set how much you will collect from other players when they use any facility you build on that land.
Is the game still heavily p2w? I started playing around a year ago and I like the game, but the p2w aspects were way too strong for my tastes. Has it been reduced somewhat?
Depends on what is considered as p2w. If you mean to reach the top, the answer is yes it is p2w (heavily). But everyone can grind and gets better fame and silver naturally, there isn't really the "win" in pay to "win".
You can grind and fight those you call p2w players. I dont get how theyr called p2w in the first place.. pay to progress might be the better term but then again you can grind and fight them all the same
bows are garbage at low level..but then again so is everything else I've tried from watching " the best weapons for starting out" list on youtube. idk the combat in this game is pretty terrible to be honest.
I played this game... but the PvE stuff to do is very underwhelming. Everything is actually really great except for the PvE content to do. I enjoyed it for some time. It's not for me.
I thought so too but the thing about this game good and bad is that it has a rediculous amount of content, never say never when it comes to albion. Have you tried tracking, ava roads, ava dungeons, t8 solo dungeons, corrupted dungeons, statics, static dungeons, mists and spiders?

Agree, most the beginner content feels like a guide for somebody on their 2nd character trying to power level.
Looks like I found the one. Thanks, I have been having trouble with other vids too. Time to watch this one now.

Coming from 17 years of Runescape, I'm loving this game

Man, thanks for this. I've been wanting to jump into this game for awhile now but didn't understand it fully, but thanks to this I know way more now
Thanks for making this guide! Wanted to get back into Albion after playing on and off for a year.
This is most helpful beginner guide I'm a former Runescape player I'm looking forward to all the adventures and quest in this game
same here who knew farming tob for 4hours a day and going 10x dry for a purple wasnt fun :D

wow, started playing a couple as of days ago felt lost a bit, your guide helped alot and I havent even finished the video yet
Thanks for the guide. I got a little confused on what to do but now I feel a little more secure in my options
I like the sound effects when the text appears and disappears. Neat!
This is a great guide, to someone who has just started playing Albion this helped a lot
Thank you 😊
Great video! Helped me start a little smoother :)
Such a helpful video, makes it feel unfair to compair any other tutorials to this tbf, good job

@blobfish1092 yeah, definitely not here
Still relevant to this day, amazing guide my guy
this is a great vid for a beginner newb like myself
Great guide, thank you. Thanks especially for not trying to cram more info in by talking at 200 words/sec.
Before I watched this video I didn’t know that there was a fast travel option so i had to ride my mount from one of the towns by the ocean to the city in the center of the map.
It's crazy to me how much this game is like Eve Online. The Blue Zones are high sec, yellow are low sec, red are null sec and black are wormholes.
extremely useful information, will share with friends
If i die in red or black zone. Does my money also get loot or just my gear ? I still have my silver ?
his chart at 2:31 i wrong cuz hide is actually the third most common resource and wood is the second most common in swamps
i know right

What is the background music for the video? Just asking. Very peaceful
Excellent guide. Thank you!
TY FOR THIS INFORMATIONAL VIDEO 😁😁😁😁😁😁
This game scratches my RuneScape Itch
Thnx a lot for this awesome guide 👍🏻
I might be wrong but is wood not the 2nd resource of swamps? From experience at least, i get WAY more than skin in it.
that's because rare resources are grouped on clusters, giving the semblance of higher rate.
no its not like that

You should make a video about the possibility of the game having playable races!
So in the red zones u will not get killed if you have pvp disablet?
red zones you have to flag for pvp to attack someone who is not flagged. when you flag in red zone an kill a player you get negative rep. so if your in red zone you can be killed to a flagged player think of them like bandits even if your not flagged.
In red zones, the people who kill you have to enable pvp. It doesn't matter if you enable it or not as the victim.
Can someone tell me how to get rid of the rough stones I farmer in tutorial area? Not leaving there yet.
Do you stream at all? could be a fun idea

Damn nigga.. Which stone age are you from??

Isn't this the game where if you die you lose a lot of stuff kinda like WoW or am I thinking of a different game
Do we loose all our silver too in red or black zones ?
I died and lost everything except some silver
Ty man!
