I still think its crazy how if Eddie had just turned himself in or been arrested, everyone would've seen that the murders continued even with him in custody.
They would have blamed Hellfire for continuing the ritualistic murders. Just because the leader is locked up doesn’t mean the followers don’t have orders.
You're not familiar with human being's irrational instinct to resort to a mob mentality. That includes ignorance, impulsiveness, cynical and stubborn moronic behavior. People are not as smart as you think they are. In real life, look at how many innocent people have been executed due to fasle accusations, misidentifying, and stupidity?
That basketball player died right infront of Jason and it led him to believe that Eddie is a vessel and he had made a deal with the devil. He wouldn’t be safe even he’s in jail
@@ryanespinoza7297 Good point. Also the gang stopping the 4th murder would have made Eddie look guilty, since the murders would have stopped when he was locked up.
The Duffer Brothers said that having Max die permanently was discussed... but it was ultimately decided that she wouldn't. It was never the original ending. Steve was never supposed to die. If they had razor tentacles Steve just would have been attacked in a different way. The Duffer Brothers have gone on record saying that the only major change to their original script was Dimitri.
@aimlesslyfloating7 wrong information given as fact is always problematic, no matter the subject. You should also care. If we let everyone give facts that are not true, in the end none of us will live in the same reality. Truth is always important, even with small and seemingly very pointless things. We want to keep the culture of truth alive, or everything will turn into a lie.
@@Struudeli I’m pretty sure the og comment means that he was never supposed to die in S4 I think by now it’s pretty commonly known he was originally supposed to die in s1
@@nxlix.x5424 Yeah, originally Steve was never supposed to be redeemed. The Duffer brothers wanted Steve to remain as a jerk an have him killed so it would be one of those jock deaths in horror movies that are so satisfying to watch. In addition, they were thinking about replacing that idea with having Lonnie (Jonathan and Will’s father) be killed by the Demogorgon while helping Jonathan and Nancy. It was going to be a heroic sacrifice I was wondering why they didn’t show him finding out that Will is alive at the end of the first season. I hope that he returns in season 5 in which he sacrifices himself to save Will, showing he takes back all the pain he caused on his family.
i swear the moment eddie said “1986 is gonna be my year” i knew he would die. bro this script was written during the pandemic. literally everyone i know was hyped about 2020, saying it was gonna be great, got 2020 vision for the future, roaring twenties part 2, and IT ALL WENT TO HELL like eddie’s whole damn life
@@etxkth yeah, but they may kill him in season 5 Cause theres a pattern: Season 1: Nancy lost her friend, Barb Season 2: Joyce lost her friend/lover, Bob Season 3: Murray lost his friend Alexei Season 4: Dustin lost his friend Eddie + Lucas nearly lost his friend/lover, Max Meaning for season 5 they could bring him back and maybe make him sacrifice himself for Hopper since the two are now good friends
I only have 1 theory for season 5, the plot will be about finding Max's spirit in what Henry described as purgatory full of monsters aka upside down. Like how they found Will in season 1. Max will save the day in the end because getting her back will surely close the gate in Hawkins.
Yeah that's what I was thinking but killing 4 people was his plan to open the gates. He did kill Max well, clinically. Maybe that was all that was needed to make his plan work. Idk if that makes sense lol.
the thing is though that she isn't in upside down. upside down is physical, but what she is missing is her mind. so yeah, the season 5 is most likely going to be about getting her back but instead of simply taking her from the upside down it's more like getting her soul from One. the broken house and the clock? those aren't in upside down, they are in Vecna's mind. papa has also warned Eleven about thins, about how One takes things from people - their memories, abilities, their life. El had her powers sucked out of her after the bite because of this and Vecna most likely looks the way he does and is as powerful as he is because he had spend some time in upside down hunting and sucking out demogorgons and demodogs and then absorbing those dark particles and shaping them into the mindflyer. Max doesn't have powers and she lives so the thing that she had taken from her is only her mind. i can see the return of the NINA project too for the purpose of One's further training, although this time under different circumstances. maybe the group gets their hands on that tape collection? learning more about One's origin story may the the key how to save everyone
I also think that since Will still gets the tingles, that he is going to have to be a much bigger part of Season 5. Much more involvement, since it all started with Will too. I almost feel like Will must have some hidden supernatural talent that he and we don't yet know about.
The 4 gates opening at the end with Maxine's death would have made this season legendary, especially ending it like that and not reviving her back to life for some stupid reasons.
i know some people might disagree because they wanted a main character to die, but i'm glad they changed max's ending. i don't think killing her off would've sent a good message AT ALL considering she's a kid who's been dealing with s*icidal ideation (+ vecna in vol 1 kind of represented max's ptsd, survivor's guilt and depression) and was just starting to get better at the end of episode 4 and realize there are people who care about her and that she has things to live for. episode 4 ended with such a powerful message. killing her off would send the message that no matter what, no matter how hard you fight, you could never overcome your depression. and that's just a horrible message. (+the duffers said max being in a coma instead of dying is extremely important for the plot of season 5)
also i know some people find el "reviving" max unrealistic but if you think about it, it kinda is. much more than hopper's survival at least. el used her telekinesis powers to basically perform intense cpr on max pumping her heart until it started beating again on its own. and we already know she can do these kind of stuff. remember when she made the bully from s1 pee in his pants? or when she got the chip out of 001? el doesn't "suddenly have healing powers", she just restarted max's heart like a defibrillator does lol. that's why max is still injured and in a coma, she didn't "heal" her, made her heart beat again.
I agree on both points, somebody from the main cast should have died but not Max. Shouldn’t be Will because of “bury your gays”. Not 11, killing Lucas would be dumping more on Max. Jonathan maybe.
As sad as Eddie’s death was, I had a feeling the whole time he would die at the end because he was wanted for murder and that might’ve thrown a wrench into season 5’s plot having to hide him the whole time. I also wish they would’ve used the darker purple concept art for the hellscape. I like it a lot better than the yellow. Lastly, as demented as it is, I like the victims in the web over the altar concept better than the columns. If we’re gonna up the creep factor, go big or go home lol. But no complaints…season 4 was epic! Awesome video!
It's just a pattern for Stranger Things at this point. Every season they introduce a relatively important, likable new character just to kill: Bob From season 2, Alexi from season 3, Eddie in season 4 🙂 and there's Billy, I don't know if he's likeable, but he wasn't there for long either. It also seems like they don't kill anyone under the age of 18. Eddie is older since he should've graduated long ago. Billy was probably 18 or more when he died too. I imagine that's to not put off any parents watching.
I still think Eddie will be resurrected as Vecna’s right hand man the vampire guy from D&D, who also controls bats I believe, considering he literally played the song puppet master as a way to lure the bats and Metallica also have another song called “when the bell tolls”. I can totally seeing Eddie not being gone.
I would have liked an eyeless vecna... Feels more suiting for a villain who relies almost entirely on psionic abilities. Also I found Vecna's eyes always felt out of place... This gruesome monster, but his eyes are really normal looking.
I'm still saying Eddie isn't dead he's just unconscious from losing blood, he's going to be Kas the vampire servant for Vecna who ends up betraying him.. according to DnD lore
He's dead..producers confirmed this. If they did bring him back to life somehow, it would be ridiculous and make the show look bad. Especially after the heartfelt conversation with Eddie's uncle telling him he died a hero.
Yes! This is the most interesting and entertaining theory out there. The bs theories about him being 010 are just way too far fetched and make 0 sense.
And everyone saying “oh the producers confirmed his death” 🙄 Like they would tell us the truth. That would be a really good way to ruin the entire plot.
I think they made the right choice with the changes that they made. I hated seeing Eddie die, but I also hated seeing Chrissy, Bob, Barb and even Billy all die too. Some times in shows like Stranger Things characters we love don't always survive. I do hope that Max makes it though, I think she will.
No way we can let her die! If Max can be top on dig dug and survive the deadliest creatures in the galaxy many times as well as the most deadliest one (vecna), she can surely survive him again with the help of a telekinetic friend, Eleven, from the same origin as Vecna!
I think Max *right now is suffering a fate worse than death. All of Vecna's other victims were in a trance when he killed them. We don't know how much pain they were In or what they actually felt. With bones snapping like that I'm sure some people would go into shock. Max was barely saved in time enough to consciously experience what happened to her. She literally said that she was scared, blind, and couldn't feel anything. That's terrifying to go through, and THEN dying. And after El restarted her heart, she's back, but she's basically a vegetable. The Duffers confirmed that's she's currently Braindead. El went into her mind and there was nothing. She's probably inside Vecna's mind. No one has ever survived him. She could be anywhere in his mind or mind layer. And what condition will she physically and mentally be in if she DOES wake up. The trauma she received to her eyes and body were bad. She's gonna be quite messed up. Unless the Duffers come up with some type of time travel, or supernatural way to heal or reverse what happened to Max, she's screwed.
I think they're doing too much, you can alienate your fan base if you keep brutalizing kids .... I stopped watching GOT when they burned the little girl at the stake.... They are right on the edge...
exactly what I thought,. First victim was his girlfriend. At the second murder he wasnt at home and nobody saw him the thirth murder was his friend and was directly by side him in a lake and he was alone with max and Lucas in that house and Lucas was nearly punshed to death. And of course the rivalry between the new shief and Jason, so Duffers, it would have been so easy to blame Jason for the murders. Nice ending for Jason and a reason for eddie to be not dead.
Everyone would hope that could be true, but he had multiple witnesses that he was at the party during Chrissy's death. And the body was literally found on Eddie's trailer from which he had escaped making him the main suspect.
@@MoreRizzzz Why would Chrissy have been found at Eddie's then? We also don't know where he was during the second murder, he could've very easily been with people. No one would believe him if one murder happened AT his trailer, and also KNOWN to be at the third murder. He was the leader of Hellfire, a "cult making ritualistic sacrifices" and there was enough proof that Lucas was also in Hellfire. Lucas, who was at the fourth murder. It wouldn't have been as easy as you think lol
@@alexvaleriano2508 The thing is that Jason was considered a suspect for some time after Chrissy's death. Also, pretty much everyone at the party was drunk, so they're not exactly reliable witnesses.
@@tyrant7482 Chrissy was found at Eddie's because she was buying drugs. Jason followed her there. Do you remember his reaction to the news that Chrissy was buying DRUGS? It's possible that he'd get pissed off when he caught her, maybe he also thought she had an affair with Eddie. And when it comes to Hellfire, there's no proof that it's a cult - there's only JASON'S word. It could've been explained as Jason trying to frame Eddie.
I do have to say I always thought Eddie's death was just as much due to convenience than anything else...so they could desert the storyline where he was being blamed, demonized, and pursued. I do know there wasn't time to follow through with that storyline (as with many others) due to the scale of the season, and that's one of the #1 reasons why I was sure he was going to die. I really hope that they bother proving his innocence to the town and publicly exonerating him in Season 5, but it sounds a lot to me like they will gloss over it again as they just think he was "doomed" as a person and that's that. It's honestly sad to me. I feel like when it comes to outcast type characters this kind of things actually DOES matter to people....especially in the case of a storyline as serious as this.
I would argue they gave the outcast character a more realistic feel. Rather than a trite happy ending where the town realizes their mistake and everything works out, they showed that what everyone else thinks isn't what's important. Those people never knew him and those who bothered to get to know him, loved him. But in the end, it was what Eddie thought of himself that led to his sacrifice. He wanted to make a stand because HE was tired of running away, not because others would think less of him. In the end, he dies a hero and the people who matter know he's a hero. What a reactionary mob thinks of him is irrelevant really to who he was. But I do know what your saying about typical treatment of outcast characters, I just feel this sho did a very good job with Eddie from start to finish. Its a testament to the writing and acting when a characters death is so impact ful to the viewer. Even more impressive that it was all contained in one season. I'm gonna miss Eddie, I really hope there's some way for the actor to return, maybe in the way Dacre returned this season for a couple scenes. I also think there is a chance that by the end, everyone understands that some supernatural stuff is going on and in the end, Eddie will be vindicated. I mean, you have to assume Hopper is going to be filling in Sheriff Powell and his deputy. At this point, there's really no keeping it a secret from the masses.
@@saltydog7038 I don't think it's poorly handled since in the 80s there was a big crazy panic of satanic cults. Still, today we know people can be pretty irrational (e.g. a satanic cult is not that different from believing in a good God that sees everything, saints and miracles). Eddie storyline was based on a real story (and the guy also played D&D), he was sentenced to death in 93 and only released in 2011 (because he took a freaking Alford plea).
I could tell he would die just because of that. The whole town thought that he was a murderous psychopath and the only way to clear his name would be to let everyone in the town know that the upside down existed and about Vecna. I knew the writers wouldnt go that route which was a clear death sentence to Eddie. They wrote him into a corner and couldnt think of a valid way to get him out of it so they just killed him off.
hear me out, if vecna was able to create the mind flayer with his powers surely El could do something similar. She after all is the one who banished him to the upside down in the first place. not to mention she was able to use her powers to bring Max back to life. there’s massive foreshadowing saying her powers will come back stronger than ever.
Why did no one think about blaming the deaths on Jason huh, bro bought guns and started a hunt on Eddie and Lucas could've been a suspect like Is it just me.

I was literally on the edge of my seat yelling at 11 to hurry up & save Max at the end of season 4, I think I even made up some new swear words for Vecna's violent end, & the songs they used was just perfect, whenever I hear Kate Bush's ' Running Up That Hill ', I will think of that scene.
Hard to believe they even considered killing Max off, and it was their first choice! Her being brought back was a lot like Neo saving Trinity in the Matrix Reloaded. Very similar in fact if you think about all the forshadowing with dreams they used and the matrix concept's similarity to alternate realities.
Eddie could have lived IMO. Hopper returning he could have tried to get his job back and put together an alibi for Eddie to clear his name. Or with Hawkins being destroyed he could have snuck away. Go to California with Argyle and Jonathan and be stoners haha
Agreed. They could've at least made his death honorable but no, he basically died for no reason, he wasn't sacrificing his life for anyone, the people in Hawkins blamed him for all the deaths until his last breath, it's sad actually. The Duffer brothers could've done better, eddie dying didn't make any sense, they just needed someone to die
Vecna's lair and the Upside down seemed like they took some cues form the altered dimension that the Tall Man from the movie Phantasm would take the dead bodies to. I really got that vibe.
The Duffer Brothers have confirmed that Season 5 will pick up where Season 4 left off. “It will be 100km/h from the start. We have already plotted the opening scene.”🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Eddies death was a travesty. Dustins portrayal of Eddie was a real tear jerker though. I'm glad they didn't kill max as well. Truly a good storytelling line.
I dont think they could bring Eddie back if he did return he was labelled as a evil murderer so either way his life was over, its sad but the way they killed him was brilliant, an glad max just in coma hope she makes full recovery
I knew Eddie would die, but I kind of wish Jason had done the deed to solidify his own evil before his death. A failed chance at redemption, and further demonstration of the evil humans could do. Maybe Vecna could use it somehow - show the gang one more reason humanity deserves to die.
I think calling Jason evil is really reductive. The dude was racked with grief. And Eddie was the obvious suspect for what happened to Chrissy. Then Fred Benson, a reporter who was last seen in Eddie's trailer park, winds up dead in the same fashion. Plus once he saw the supernatural killing (which in those circumstances was seemingly protecting Eddie), Jason's Christian upbringing was going to lead him to interpret it as Satanic. Which just makes it unfortunate Eddie and co already trivialized and/or celebrated Satan with the name Hellfire Club (even if it was only in a jokey/edgy way). Then he found Lucas with Max in a trance, where she couldn't explain the situation, its pretty natural to interpret her as their victim. Then Lucas calls him a psycho for some reason. Jason obviously had biases that led him down his path and got pretty unhinged near the end, but there was also a tragic comedy of errors that caused events to continuously reaffirm his beliefs.
@@girhen The protagonists have broken the law and threatened and murdered to protect other people all the time in the show. Taking things into your own hands, that's basically vigilantism. Not saying he's an angel, but Jason thinks that a serial killer is on the loose, and the cops aren't making any progress. And he thinks the people he is threatening are protecting Eddie at best (which they are), complicit in his murders at worst. And he does find where Eddie was hiding well before the cops, if the cops ever would've. It's hard to know what he would've done to Eddie if he had caught him. I doubt he would've killed him. Probably beat him, then turned him over to the cops.
I think. 001 having 1 clear and 1 cloudy eye in the Realm was foreshadowing the Eye of Vecna. Which makes me think Max will have Vision in 1 eye and therefore Vecna's clear Eye will be ripped out and given to Max. I also think that the Hand of Vecna could possibly go to Dustin (in a last stand fight in honour of Eddie, his hand is bitten or torn off*) it's more likely to go to 011. *Mike (The Knight in Wills painting) uses the same sword Hopper used as it turns out to be The Sword of Kas.
I really, REALLY wish Hopper had kept that damn sword, I can't shake the feeling its very important......the writing on it, in ancient lettering (possibly a form of runes?) to me meant it wasn't just a pointless weapon like the others. I remember my husband laughing at me when I was shouting 'TAKE THE SWORD! HOPPER! TAKE THE FUCKING SWORD!' at our tv when the two Russians turned up and then later 'oh my God he didn't take the damn sword.' (my husband joked he hadn't heard me). Lol!
@@troublemcallister730 I think, it's Arnold Schwarzenegger's sword. He used it in Conan the Barbarian and may have kept it. Fingers crossed Hopper kept it, or Murray sneaked it back to the US.

1. I still think it's strange that the last ep skipped from them (Steve, Nancy, Robin, Dustin) being in the upside down, to 2 days later with no mention of how they got out or no reaction for what happened to Eddie. 2. He was bitten 100 times by those bats and we have no idea what that could mean, he could bcome a vamp as that D&D theory goes. 3. His eyes did glaze over so we have to assume he's dead and there was no way to get his body back therefore Vecna has access to it. We don't know what Vecna is capable of turning Eddie into or if he's able to revive him. He died in the upside down so real world rules don't apply. 4. The Duffer bros can do whatever they want...it's a show about supernatural kids, an alternate reality and monsters for crying out loud. ANYTHING can happen
The more and more I watch this, I feel like we're watching a giant game of D&D. Where did Conan's sword come from? I can even tell when they would need to roll for initiative ✨
Hi Jan. Yes, I wish they would have made Vecna look more fearsome. I enjoyed seeing the concept art. Damn Duffer brothers. I really want them to scare daylights out of us in season FIVE!!!!!!
I think Max may come back with memory loss. Dr. Brenner was talking to eleven about the fact that when the heart stops pumping and blood stops getting to the brain they forget things, maybe that was foreshadowing since Max's heart stopped for a minute.
@@user-bf3ks1cm6c uhm yes. I'd say I'll even commend them for having the guts of killing a fan favorite character. It's that mindset that prevents them from killing characters like that, the fact that people will stop for something so petty.
Honestly I would have preferred if one of the mains died due to how predictable Eddies death was. It barely served any purpose and it could have been avoided in the end. In jail he would have had to go trough the towns hatred, some meddling from the military while the killings would have continued, people who believed Jason would have tried to end him. When Max 'died' I actually clapped for how brave the directors were. It was horrifying to see and witness her death and bringing her back was really flat in my opinion. I agree with Millie that they are too afraid to kill of a main. I hate main character plot armour.
See that's how I felt about Hopper after S3. Obviously I didn't want him to die and I cried when he "did", but I thought it was a weak decision to bring him back because it's pretty unbelievable that he survived that. That being said, I was glad to have him in season 4 and I'm glad Max survived too. I think also because her story arc was so deep-rooted in depression that her realisation that she wanted to live was incredibly poignant, to then have her not make it would kind of ruin the metaphor because then her depression took her anyway. Her survival is symbolic to all those who have been on that edge.
I believe Steve was supposed to be the death where Eddie died it would make sense he made a sacrifice and Dustin being emotionally wrecked after he sacrifice himself and I think they created Eddie and mimicked the relationship Dustin and Steve had throughout the season
Eddie had no reason to die anyways sure he would’ve been doomed but instead he could’ve gotten arrested and then the hellfire club would try and find evidence to get him out his character is based on Damien Echols he was in prison for 17 years and then got out after new evidence this storyline would’ve been way more entertaining and less heart breaking
I like the idea of the demobats looking more like demodogs/demogorgons. I do agree it would make it scarier but this whole season has definitely kicked it up a notch in that category, I think it would've been cool to see.
2:29 he was the 5th kill. Then they actually were gonna be 5 kills idk why the duffer brothers don’t go thru with there original idea it would of been more badass. Great season tho after all 🫶🏼
I have a theory about Season 5. We all know that the season 4 finale was based off of the Star Wars Movie, The Empire Strike Back where there are many similarities. So that got me thinking, what will Season 5 or the Season 5 finale be based off of. So I thought, well maybe The Return of the Jedi if the Duffers were to continue to base of their work on the Star Wars franchise. Eleven could convince Vecna, to destroy the Mind Flayer, killing 001, but leaving 001 as the savior of Hawkins.
I knew Eddie would be dead dead. I had hoped they wouldn't kill Max, but honestly I was kinda disappointed when they kept her alive in a coma. Her dying would've been radical, and probably would've had the same effect on fans that the Red Wedding had on GoT.. I kinda wish they'd just committed to killing her. I love Max, but her death was necessary to the plot.
I have mixed feelings... I feel like if they killed off Max it would have had a much larger emotional impact on viewers. At the same time, I'm so happy that she's alive cuz she's my favourite 😌
According to the showrunners, her being in a coma is intrinsic to the series finale. I'm optimistic that they have a plan for her that's much better than adding gravitas to the show with her death.
I think killing her would send the wrong message to younger viewers about suicide and depression. They needed some type of hope left for her. I’m glad they didn’t kill her.
I knew it! The popularity of episode 4 made them save Max is the finale, she was supposed to die. You can tell by the way the ending was so slow, like they were missing air time.
Man they just made all the right choices.😃 I loved Dimitri in the show, especially with Hopper. It was hilarious sometimes. Congratulations for the Netflix team because this show is a literal masterpiece
Eddie could’ve survived The lady that helped Hopper and Joyce at the end and drop them off could’ve helped Eddie and got him out of Hopkins but because of that two day time jump we don’t know what happened to Eddie‘s body we don’t know what happened to the Russians we don’t know what happened to Mary he could’ve been making risotto for everyone they could’ve done a lot better with the ending… ps I’m using voice so 🖕

The concept art of vecna with four legs might appear in season 5. Remember that Jason (Mason Dye) died when the dimensional breach split his body in Twain across his waist. His lawful-evil demagogue character might get absorbed by Vecna who turns Jason into a drider (in D&D, a drider is half man-half spider, similar to a centaur but with a giant spider legs). D&D is a primary source of material, so Here’s hoping!
good theory, but I believe the duffers won't make anyone turn into a dnd creature, like how some ppl think Eddie will come back as kas the vampire (Vecna's servant). I believe anyone who died i will stay dead, but I might be wrong. We'll have to wait til late 2023 or early 2024 to see...
I’m wondering if this is going to be one of those endings where in season 5 we figure out that this has all been an imaginary D&D game in Wills mind, and it gets played out, and then the very end is us going back to reality?? Just a theory.. I feel like WILL more than El will somehow be the “center” of it all…
An easy solution for Problem "Eddie": First victim was his girlfriend.
I Honestly Feel The Most Realistic Death Is Eleven Sacrificing Herself To Kill Vecna Like Season Ones Ending But When She Says Goodbye, Its For Good, Plus (Shes the only one that can defeat Vecna At all it could be possible that she sacrifices herself for the crew) I love here character ark but if they should kill any character, its her, the duffers have BEEN hinting at her death since Season 1 so yeah thats my take on it.
The Vecna realm and how he incapacitate Eleven, and also one of the concept art shown really reminiscent of Berserk, the Eclipse event in particular...
I always thought the upside down is actually hell like the biblical hell because although the duffer Brothers explained Henry created all they still haven't explain is it a dimension or just hell?
Personally, I would have loved to see the following in Season 4... 1. Keep the scene with Max determinedly escaping Vecna's lair. 2. Have Vecna target Nancy instead and kill her. This would have made Max's moment even more powerful...she would have been the only one to escape Vecna unharmed. It also would have kept the stakes pretty high...killing off Nancy would signal to viewers that *anyone* could be killed off.
Nancy is technically not a teenager and vecna's actions and theories says he attacks or will attack mid teenagers so killing off nancy will prove the plot otherwise which will definitely create a chaos.
@@kashishmodgil5813 Nancy is still a teenager. She's supposed to attend college next fall. Assuming that she elected to go straight to college after high school, that should make her about 17-18 years of age. If she held off on attending college for one year, she would be 18-19 years old.
Killing off Nancy could’ve been an option he had her dead to rights but I love Nancy she’s the toughest of the normal kids not named Eleven, they need her lol
@@dcapitan7 but why is it always the mid teenagers? Like even if nancy is in teenage, she is in late teens, almost adult or is an adult but vecna chooses the people of mid teenage, somewhere around 16 and maybe it has something to do with el as the targets are mostly of her age group! Considering all 4 victims of mid teens, i suppose vecna has some plan so killing nancy will be jist stupid for the next plot..
i'm glad we got the vecna design that we did because the the others versions we were shown would've definitely given me nightmares and maybe even force me to stop watching the show all together
I am of the opinion that Vecna/Henry/001 made the creatures in the other dimension subservient to him. Otherwise, they were just wild animals until he showed up.
I'm glad that Max and Enzo weren't killed off. It leaves the door open for Enzo to be reunited with his son in the future. Although, it's possible he could die a hero in season 5. And as for Max, she needs to live by the end so she and Lucas can get their happy ending.
Vecna is eleven father. That's why he was still in the facility. Dr Brenner needed him for genetic material to impregnate the mothers to make the children with powers. Fits with the star wars motif.
some of these would've made the season 4 even better like the spider layer mind thing with vecna and max being in the air while the vines just hold her up like a spider web
I still think its crazy how if Eddie had just turned himself in or been arrested, everyone would've seen that the murders continued even with him in custody.
They would have blamed Hellfire for continuing the ritualistic murders. Just because the leader is locked up doesn’t mean the followers don’t have orders.
True but yk everyone would have keep thinking he's some leader to some satanist group and they would have never leave him alone
The Duffer Brothers have gone on record saying that the only major change to their original script was Dimitri.
from what i heard, steve was meant to die in season 1
steve was supposed to die in season one and max was originally going to die so
@aimlesslyfloating7 wrong information given as fact is always problematic, no matter the subject.
I hope that he returns in season 5 in which he sacrifices himself to save Will, showing he takes back all the pain he caused on his family.
i swear the moment eddie said “1986 is gonna be my year” i knew he would die. bro this script was written during the pandemic. literally everyone i know was hyped about 2020, saying it was gonna be great, got 2020 vision for the future, roaring twenties part 2, and IT ALL WENT TO HELL like eddie’s whole damn life
Its like a cop mentioning his retirement, total death sentence.
Max is inside Vecna's mind. Which will probably help the gang defeat him later on.
yo that’s so true! didnt think of that wow
Ooooh
I actually really liked Enzo, BUT I WOULD HAVE TRADED HIM FOR EDDIE IN A HEARTBEAT, DAMN IT!
I WOULD OF TRADED EDDIE FOR YURI!
they already killed off another important russian, so i guess they decided to give that arc a break
@@etxkth yeah, but they may kill him in season 5
Cause theres a pattern:
Season 1: Nancy lost her friend, Barb
Season 2: Joyce lost her friend/lover, Bob
Season 3: Murray lost his friend Alexei
Season 4: Dustin lost his friend Eddie + Lucas nearly lost his friend/lover, Max
Meaning for season 5 they could bring him back and maybe make him sacrifice himself for Hopper since the two are now good friends
Idk if that makes sense lol.
i hope max makes it out alright 😰😢😭😱💔. she is one of my favourite characters.
the thing is though that she isn't in upside down. upside down is physical, but what she is missing is her mind. so yeah, the season 5 is most likely going to be about getting her back but instead of simply taking her from the upside down it's more like getting her soul from One. the broken house and the clock? those aren't in upside down, they are in Vecna's mind. papa has also warned Eleven about thins, about how One takes things from people - their memories, abilities, their life.
Please save max 😭
I am glad they kept Max not dying because her last words were so heartbreaking
IKR
The 4 gates opening at the end with Maxine's death would have made this season legendary, especially ending it like that and not reviving her back to life for some stupid reasons.
That is exactly what made that scene so great, they should have let it be that, because you dont see main characters dying like that very often
I'm glad they kept her alive too!
i know some people might disagree because they wanted a main character to die, but i'm glad they changed max's ending. i don't think killing her off would've sent a good message AT ALL considering she's a kid who's been dealing with s*icidal ideation (+ vecna in vol 1 kind of represented max's ptsd, survivor's guilt and depression) and was just starting to get better at the end of episode 4 and realize there are people who care about her and that she has things to live for.
episode 4 ended with such a powerful message. killing her off would send the message that no matter what, no matter how hard you fight, you could never overcome your depression. and that's just a horrible message.
@@hh-ug4ki not really since now we know they wont die since we will think back to this moment to know any risky action they take wont mean much
@@hh-ug4ki I'm amazed people really think El has healing powers and that this was a sudden redcon to justify saving Max.
right and i hate how some people believe for a show to be considered “good” main characters need to die… like no
As sad as Eddie’s death was, I had a feeling the whole time he would die at the end because he was wanted for murder and that might’ve thrown a wrench into season 5’s plot having to hide him the whole time.
Yea I totally agree
I can totally seeing Eddie not being gone.
eddie is mid idk why people like him
@@ethanweimer-kopf6907 could you elaborate and why you think that?
I would have liked an eyeless vecna... Feels more suiting for a villain who relies almost entirely on psionic abilities. Also I found Vecna's eyes always felt out of place... This gruesome monster, but his eyes are really normal looking.
It is telling that he was once fully human though
With the closeup and the voice makes me think of the Grinch
I think it makes more sense for him to have eyes but also I think him having normal eyes made him look more creepy
@@SarahMaier101 fr it looks kinda goofy
I'm still saying Eddie isn't dead he's just unconscious from losing blood, he's going to be Kas the vampire servant for Vecna who ends up betraying him.. according to DnD lore
It's an interesting theory!
He's dead..producers confirmed this. If they did bring him back to life somehow, it would be ridiculous and make the show look bad. Especially after the heartfelt conversation with Eddie's uncle telling him he died a hero.
Seeing all the fandom, they're gonna cast him for the spinoff
What do you think about this even more horrifying ending for Max?! 😲😲
Idk
No way we can let her die! If Max can be top on dig dug and survive the deadliest creatures in the galaxy many times as well as the most deadliest one (vecna), she can surely survive him again with the help of a telekinetic friend, Eleven, from the same origin as Vecna!
Paralyzed and blind
They could've easily blamed Jason for "Eddie's" crimes smh
exactly what I thought,.
First victim was his girlfriend.
At the second murder he wasnt at home and nobody saw him
the thirth murder was his friend and was directly by side him in a lake
and he was alone with max and Lucas in that house and Lucas was nearly punshed to death.
Eddie was also at the lake for the third murder, someone that's on the run from already being suspected of killing Chrissy.
Anything to end that awful Satanic Panic storyline it was just so poorly handled all the way through
@@saltydog7038 I don't think it's poorly handled since in the 80s there was a big crazy panic of satanic cults.
I hope they don't do this. His friends knowing the truth is poetic and beautiful enough.
She after all is the one who banished him to the upside down in the first place. not to mention she was able to use her powers to bring Max back to life. there’s massive foreshadowing saying her powers will come back stronger than ever.

none of the victims had gunshot wounds so i don't see how him buying guns would make him a suspect
Yeah max is one of the coolest character
That spiderweb design with the 3 victims hanging above the altar is incredible!
I would actually love to see a Vecna with more legs as a sort of even creepier final form, in the final season.

@@davidrich27 Vigilantism isn't the right look though. "We just want to talk" *grabs weapons and threatens everyone*.

" I hate main character plot armour." - You must have loved Game of Thrones then! ;-)
Eddies death served its purpose. It’s got you all crying and making up stupid excuses why he shouldn’t have been killed off.
In the D&D Demobats can't actually kill you so I'm curious where that goes in season 5
I like the idea of the demobats looking more like demodogs/demogorgons. I do agree it would make it scarier but this whole season has definitely kicked it up a notch in that category, I think it would've been cool to see.
Yeah but that would mean that Steve would die so yeah
i like how they rejected the other concepts for Vecna but approved the Voldemort look even with Vecna having a similar origin to Voldemort lol
I think the scenes they actually came up w r truly authentic and fitting keeping the storyline fresh and gripping audiences to the end
Ngl if I'm Max and I have 2 broken arms and legs which I'm currently a vegetable, just off me
I knew Eddie would be dead dead.
They kept her to use her as a key to vecna and vecna is probs in her body, duffers said she is rly imp for s5
WAIT for it..... A bunch of people could die in Season 5. Remember what RANDY from SCREAM 3 said.
I knew it! The popularity of episode 4 made them save Max is the finale, she was supposed to die. You can tell by the way the ending was so slow, like they were missing air time.
Man they just made all the right choices.😃
I loved Dimitri in the show, especially with Hopper. It was hilarious sometimes.
Congratulations for the Netflix team because this show is a literal masterpiece
Eddie could’ve survived The lady that helped Hopper and Joyce at the end and drop them off could’ve helped Eddie and got him out of Hopkins but because of that two day time jump we don’t know what happened to Eddie‘s body we don’t know what happened to the Russians we don’t know what happened to Mary he could’ve been making risotto for everyone they could’ve done a lot better with the ending… ps I’m using voice so 🖕
You could have done a lot better writing that
@@balloon9575 I was using voice text and I cannot stand people like you have to go on the Internet and put people down guarantee you wouldn’t say it to my face but you’re a big pussy in real life
I love the “a man almost dies” joke😂 like I knew I recognized him from somewhere
Hi Jan, I’m another Jan! Watched all of Stranger Things from S1 to S4 and loved all of it so much! Thank you heaps for this video
My pleasure, fellow Jan! Glad you enjoyed both the video and the show!
I believe anyone who died i
will stay dead, but I might be wrong. We'll have to wait til late 2023 or early 2024 to see...
This was an amazing video! Thank you!!
I’m wondering if this is going to be one of those endings where in season 5 we figure out that this has all been an imaginary D&D game in Wills mind, and it gets played out, and then the very end is us going back to reality?? Just a theory.. I feel like WILL more than El will somehow be the “center” of it all…
God I'm so happy you arent the writer😭 no hate to your theories tho
I think that the Vecna we got was the best. The one with 4 legs has no logic...
Great video!
Amazing video 👌
Thanks 😀
An easy solution for Problem "Eddie":
First victim was his girlfriend.
At the second murder he wasnt at home and nobody saw him
the thirth murder was his friend and was directly by side him in a lake
and he was alone with max and Lucas in that house and Lucas was nearly punshed to death.
And of course the rivalry between the new shief and Jason, so Duffers, it would have been so easy to blame Jason for the murders. Nice ending for Jason and a reason for eddie to be not dead.
Alexi you SHALL rest in peace in all of our hearts
What if 1 (vecna) is 11's father? I was almost waiting for him to say "eleven, I am your father"
*Eleven Screams*
2:47 why did you bring that memory back into my brain
Kudos to the team behind this video, it was a visual treat!
8:07 "That's what the mask is!"
I Honestly Feel The Most Realistic Death Is Eleven Sacrificing Herself To Kill Vecna
Like Season Ones Ending But When She Says Goodbye, Its For Good, Plus (Shes the only one that can defeat Vecna At all it could be possible that she sacrifices herself for the crew) I love here character ark but if they should kill any character, its her, the duffers have BEEN hinting at her death since Season 1 so yeah thats my take on it.
Demobats remind me of Imps, found in D&D's 9 layers of Hell.
The Vecna realm and how he incapacitate Eleven, and also one of the concept art shown really reminiscent of Berserk, the Eclipse event in particular...
I thought Max would end up blind, not in a coma.
And I think Eddie is still here somewhere, I can easily see him being Number 10.
Yes i bet he is 010
@@Designs_by_Ayla what??
Eddie is dead, dead, dead...no coming back. Confirmed by producers.
Why would Eddie be 010? That makes 0 sense.
No he's dead. Bringing him back would totally undermine the impact of his death scene.
I always thought the upside down is actually hell like the biblical hell because although the duffer Brothers explained Henry created all they still haven't explain is it a dimension or just hell?
Hell would be crowded. This dimension is like a primordial newly born universe waiting for a God to shape it.
If it’s Hell where were the damned souls from before Henry went there. It seemed a lot less Hellish before him.
Fortunately religion plays no role in this story.
I feel like Eddie would get the death penalty because of how dark the murderers were. It also looks like Vecna was dragging El
max will probably have a kinda big role next season cuz why would they bring her back to life?
If she wouldn't it would ruin everything lol
But once they see hell open up and monsters come up out of the ground, wouldn't they figure out Eddie might not be behind the deaths?
Reminder: Dustin didn’t check his pulse
If you look close there’s a Z on vecnas chest as he comes up the stairs
Lol she had "A MAN ALMOST DIES" lol, GAME OF THRONES reference because hes plays the faceless man in GOT lol
Well spotted!
I love your vids! Cheers!
Video: 50% stranger things 50% Star Wars
The vortex idea slowly swirling would have been awesome.
i'm glad we got the vecna design that we did because the the others versions we were shown would've definitely given me nightmares and maybe even force me to stop watching the show all together
I am of the opinion that Vecna/Henry/001 made the creatures in the other dimension subservient to him. Otherwise, they were just wild animals until he showed up.
I think that would have been awesome to see all of that transpire in the season 4 finale
I hope that there is more seasons after the fifth season bc I can’t wait for season 5
Eddie could have proven his inocence! Shit is about to get real and people will see the real picture. At least I hope.
I loved every part of this season except how Vecna pronounces Nyeeeancie 😀😃
It would be cool if they somehow worked in the Dyatlov Pass incident of the 1950s
4:56 I doubt it.They can smell blood and track from miles away like a shark but more advanced.Maybe the flayer made them docile until Henry shaped it?
I'm glad that Max and Enzo weren't killed off. It leaves the door open for Enzo to be reunited with his son in the future. Although, it's possible he could die a hero in season 5. And as for Max, she needs to live by the end so she and Lucas can get their happy ending.
The upside down reminded me of the last episode of the Shadow Hunters, the demobats, also were in that show
Vecna is eleven father. That's why he was still in the facility. Dr Brenner needed him for genetic material to impregnate the mothers to make the children with powers. Fits with the star wars motif.
Great series. I feel that we saw a bit too much of Vecna which took away some of his creep factor. Found 001 scarier tbh.
😍😍😍
I do not want for the series to end… EVER!
THANK GOD MAX IS STILL ALIVE
some of these would've made the season 4 even better like the spider layer mind thing with vecna and max being in the air while the vines just hold her up like a spider web
I really liked Eddie I cried like a baby when he died
Plot twist, the upside down is actually hell...and Vec is a pawn of you know who...
I like how they did it rather than the original illustrations.
Really rooting for Max also
I still would've wanted Eddie to live, I'm fine if they swap him with Dimitri.

I think Max's spirit isnt in her body and Henry is going to come back in her body, pretending to be her until he can finish Eleven and his plan.
agreed, i thought at the end that vecna would use her body since her mind seemed empty
Regarding Eddie "finally graduating" - I took that to mean he knew he was going to die and leaving this life was his final graduation.
Very cool video 😊❤️🇦🇺 thanks for sharing
