    That was a big game! I remember thinking Pittsburgh would probably win, and keep on winning, get back in the playoffs and probably win the super bowl, because they had been so good for so long... They had a mystique.... The idea that age would catch up to these legends wasn’t something that us kids thought about.
    They were ‘The Steelers’.... When they failed to even make the playoffs at the end of the season, it was shocking... I wasn’t even a Steelers fan and was in disbelief that they were no longer contenders.
    Cleveland took them down that year.... Brian Sipe had their number...

    Fun year for the Browns. Thought for sure they would win the Super Bowl.

    Thanks for this post 2 days before a 2018 game between the Steelers and the Browns. Man, the Steelers were really banged up going into this game. No Bradshaw, no Swann, no Stallworth and no Lambert.

    • @footballrealist4024
      @footballrealist4024 4 года назад

      Having said that, Bradshaw played some very bad quarterback at the end of his career, his last 3 year's were almost like his first 3 years and a rookie. One thing I've learned about the white media and others is there was a lot untrue commentary about this game pertaining to how well black players dominance of this. This is why all this hype about tom Brady and the and the quarterback position is so overrated. The true dominance of this game is not white quarterbacks but the share dominance of the black players and media can't accept that and it's true. For instance the steelers could have won on offense with Archie Manning, that's right peyton Manning"s father and a few other QBs . Steve grogan, ken Anderson, Jim Hart although hart had no mobility, forget this stand in the pocket bull you better not be a sitting target. Dan fouts could have quarterback this offense but again you need a moving & a 🏃 QB. See this stuff white lie media won't tell you.. Here something that will not shock you, if Dan Marino had Barry Sanders with a bit of mobility and on defense a lawrence Taylor Miami Dolphins could have won at least 2 super bowl, now we are 👄 talking about black players dominance L.T Barry Sanders, Dan Marino got a super bowl not 💍 ring but championship because this is a team sport and no a sport about white quarterbacks winning, you see white QBs can lose with blacks, but can't win without blacks. So this is why the media is always 👄 talking tom Brady vs Joe Montana, on and on non-sense. Like comedian katt Williams would say , this is bull shit. And white media knows it. Oh white media when is jeffery epstein funeral you should know, but you don't always tell the truth !

    The wild wildcard this past Sunday may have "ben" a changing of the guard for the Browns and Steelers. Reminiscent of this game--the Steelers would not three-peat in '80, due to injuries, age and a porous defensive backfield.
