    I don't know why it makes me laugh when Phil is smoking and eating a banana at the same time. Phil's cool. I can't wait for his book to come out.

    As of 7/2713 and 100,303 hits, Phil's legacy continues to grow. I bought Apple TV several months ago and all I do is get drunk and watch DOWN concerts. I love Philip H.

    People need to keep expecting Pantera from Phil.... Judge the man on his current music... The Illegals are an awesome band! IMO this is Phil's best band other than Pantera.

    thats the guitar player they need for a Pantera reunion. He's from Texas, he knows the songs. He kicks ass big time. No Zakk...

      @@necrobeastofficial4547 I still wonder what happened with Marzi being in the illegals. lol they had those PanterA tunes down better with him on guitar vs the TWO they have playing them now. Marzi jams

    • @necrobeastofficial4547
      @necrobeastofficial4547 5 лет назад +2

      CFHMouth4War I’m not sure, I messaged marzi a few years ago about how I could contact Phil and he told me the best way and said they just don’t don’t talk anymore. No details or anything about it so idk if we’ll ever find out.

    Marco, well said bratha. Phil is a visionary. He sees what music should be in the future. He is one not afraid to take chances. Well, we have all seen the chances he has taken and he has been successful with all he has done, now The Illegals band is doing just that. I have a friend that interviewed Phil and the band when they played in Montreal at the MTL Fest. Told me everyone in that band was just so super nice and Phil, felt like he was his long lost brother. Phil said anytime hit him up

    Buy this record! Even if you're a bit sceptical! I guarantee you'll at least respect it. I've had it a week now and it's brutal, visceral, and doesn't really fall into a specific genre. It has some tongue and cheek and very real moments lyrically. All the while the most intense, driving music with the power to extinguish your soul, backing up the lyrics.. that's coming from a fan of twenty three years. Long live the KID!!

  • @kidmandudebro9566
    @kidmandudebro9566 11 лет назад +2

    RIP Dime!! Miss you brother!!

    I was lucky enough to see Pantera 6 times and actually Phils voice changed and grew deeper around the vulgar album and he even has discussed this. Phils voice will only get stronger and better now that hes touring again and singing nightly. Phil is one of the kings of metal and deserves nothing but major props for even putting out new music cause he definetly doesnt need the money. Rock on Phil see ya in a few days with the Illegals in michigan. R.I.P Dime.

    I'm 43 yo and have been into metal since I was 12. first time I listened to Pantera it was CFH cemetery gates, from that album on I was hooked for sure! This new album by Phil & his new band is excellent! There's nothing to debate, people will like what they want. They have been thru so much you have no idea. I'm just glad they still like what they do! Once it becomes "unfun" it turns! I met Dime & Vinn in a small bar in New Haven, CT for CFH! There were very cool & treated me like a friend!

    I was standing in the Pit @ Heavy MTL, Montreal Canada, waiting to see this band. I had a brief visit with their album when Pantera shared it when they were streaming it free. I thought it has MEAN and Heavy!
    As soon as their set started the entire crowd lit up like a wild fire. THEY WERE FANTASTIC. I am so excited to purchase their album and have it at my disposal. Honest true story from a Metal Head!

    Saw this tour few weeks ago and met phil afterwards,took pics got autographs.. He was a very nice guy and sounded great. Also got to see Pantera 6 times and without Phil or any one of them actually it WOULDN'T have been Pantera....period. Phil was a HUGE part of the direction they took and if you watch the Pantera interviews its OBVIOUS who the leader was. Dime was AMAZING and could of had any singer and guess who he chose....PHIL,who could sing his ass off and do just about ANYTHING on vocals.

    Well I gotta say...if you can't have the real thing, then this is definitely next best (or possibly better?!) Sounds potent and vulgar as hell! These boys did an excellent job in capturing the Pantera vibe/ sound and yet also make it very much their own. Sounds like there's absolutely no holding back!....just flat out goin' for it! Brilliant playing and attitude! This is going to be huge! Love it! I KNOW YOU NEVER REALLY WENT AWAY PHIL, BUT THIS STILL DESERVES A WELCOME BACK!!

    I didn't expect it to be this good. I like it and like the message too. All us procrastinators need to get some shit done. Its up to us to counter all the pop suck carbon copy BS music out there. We need to push the good music out there more. The ones with more of a creative side need to create some good original stuff and push it. Come on people lets get it on.
