And that band, what a fucking abomination after the polished outfit that was the Abbott brothers.

Wow, kinda suprised, didn’t know Phil is still/again on stage even with old pantera songs. Feels good to see him again. I was so lucky to see Pantera back in the mid-to-late 90‘s here in Germany in a club which was waaayyy too small for them, maybe 500 people, crowded af. No opening act at all, no huge lightshow, only a big banner with the band logo on it, that was all. There even wasn’t any barricade and only two or three security guys chillin’ in front of the stage. I had (and still have) no clue how the entire f..k that show came to happen. It was mad fun, the crowd was going totally insane. I‘ve been to many shows from different styles of music, but I‘ll remember that gig for the rest of my whole damn life! Big shout outs from Germany to anyone who reads this! The thing is dime always played both the lead and rythem,on records he played both ,but live it was just him ,by having two it does both parts and just makes the song sound more true and more balanced,one keeps the beat going one free to solo like the records

Phil ALMOST sounds as good as he did back in the day. Credit his band for learning these songs too. Guitar solos could use some work, but all in all fine job guys.

They seemed to eagerly embrace his request, plus the man's no spring chicken anymore. We can't expect his voice to sound the same as it did 20+ years ago. That being said, I think he sounds his best in years. As long as he's been at it, I can't complain if the man takes a little breather and places temporary vocal duties on the ticket buyers. That's not a task, but more an opportunity imo.
