Hope you all liked the video. I’m loving the Anker Prime power bank and the charging station. 👍🏻

you should notice that the 100w made it overheat and it reset the charging to only take 44w @22:25 i heard it actually stays at 44 til the full charge too. I bought the same bank. but i found it wise to go with a 67w charger for it which would actually charge it faster than the 100w because of that problem. I dont think the 67w would make it overheat. i havent tried it yet but i will. im currently waiting on the charger.... but yea if i had a channel i would point that out for buyers

I suppose the primary purpose of that charger with the pins is convenience, and it also provides you with some USB charging ports on the side, which is nice. Personally, I have a 65-watt UGREEN desk charger with 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A ports, and it's very convenient to have a desk charger like this.

The glossy screen is a negative on the prime

Will "Prime" units work with that charge base?

    Thanks for the video!
Did you know if you plug a 100w USB C charger into one of the usb c ports whilst docked to the cradle it can pull 140w total! So your charge time should go down from 48 mins to 30 odd minutes.
My one is a bit different to yours as it’s a 27600 version
    👍🏽

Yours support 140W charging. The 20K version is only 100W FYI.

I fimd it hilarious that no one seems to understand how to convert Amp House from Miliamp Hours. Its 20 amphours. No need to say its 20,000 mah.

It seems the failure rate of the Prime 20k is higher than the 737. My Prime died at 29 cycles. My 737 just crossed 140 cycles and is still kicking. More features doesn't always mean better I guess. Currently the 737 and the Prime 20k are the same $109 price tag on Amazon and I am about to pick up another 737 over the Prime. Plus, Anker sends out used refurb batteries under warranty. They reset the cycles but still give used cells. Yuck.

I’ve not experienced any issues with my 20k prime power bank but the 737 is a very good power bank and I use mine regularly but I do find my prime 12k very useful as it’s lighter and smaller than the 737.

Hello not yet to early to tell, but I would say 300 based on what they say about the 737 model. That’s an educated guess

i just recieved this exact power bank with base from Anker. My question is if i leave the battery for an extended amount of time, will it over charge or be an issue to the battery?

the tech is smart, so it stops charging when 100% is reached

It shuts itself off, it’s a smart battery

Wow, do your homework before you make a video. The 737 will charge in 45 minutes with a 140W charger. Geez.

      You are exactly right.

    • @powellj27
      @powellj27  Месяц назад

I’ve tried this and it does not take 45 minutes with a 140w charger. It’s takes longer. This is using the Anker 140w 3 pin charger. However this is from 0 to 100.%

@@powellj27 Usually you are not going to start from zero. You can bicker about 5 minutes difference, but both the 7
Anker Prime and the Anker 737 charge faster than any other battery bank on the market. Hell, I charge my 27650 Amp Anker Prime, which is a monster, with the 100-watt Anker Prime base, and it doesn't take much over an hour to charge it.
