@@MasterChiefFLY Can you give us an update after you used it on your trips? And how many times did it charged your laptop, i have a macbook pro 13 inches 2017 model, will this be good for a 7 hours flight ?
This review convinced me to buy! Overly positive reviews across the board I’m going overseas and bringing multiple devices. I’ll see if the price pays off
While charging another device through C1 port, if you were to tap on the C1 or somewhere in the settings in the app do you get any options for the port? For example turning it to an OUT only port to prevent looping? Or restricting wattage through so it charges at a lower rate? Thanks!
@@ExpressITTechTips Phew of the DJI battery charging docks for drones, can act as powerbanks. When connecting it to a powerbank to charge the drone batteries, the charging dock begins to charge the powerbank, as all ports are technically IN/OUT.
Like I said when you're charging this anchor device for some reason if you plug in your phone it doesn't charge as this anchor device is being charged, is this passive
Interestingly the s23 only actually supports a max of 45w charge input. www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-s23-charging-speed-3287167/ If also noted that apparently to even reach those speeds the screen may need to be off
Anker has the absolute worse privacy policy I have ever read. My version has a blutooth feature that helps you find your unit if lost. I downloaded the app. I dont usually read privacy policies but my spidey senses were tingling so i did this time. It basically sais that you have no privacy at all, they will access any and all data on your phone (without exception) and sell it to whoever they choose. So, i still love the battery unit and charger base, but I deleted the app without agreeing to anal probe.
The 250W Prime is TRASH. Mine arrived a brick, new in the box. Wouldn't even hard reset! When a flagship product arrives DOA new in the box, it gets a WELL EARNED ***DO NOT BUY.*** Get the 737 instead. I've owned both, and the 737 has been flawless and exceeded expectations from day 1.
Nice review. I have the non prime version of this defo best battery bank I’ve ever used love the display to
Can’t really go wrong with Anker products as a whole I find they do tend to make some top quality products for a reasonable price
nice review, just bought one for my overseas trip and wanted to see what you thought. 👍🤩
How you finding it ?
@@ExpressITTechTips haven’t received it well but hopefully by the end of the week. my trip is still a month away

@ it was able to fully charge my macbook pro two times so it will be very good for a macbook air
Awesome detailed review, thanks a lot
Can I bring it on a plane? Carry on luggage?
Yes you can it’s right under the limit unless that changes but always check with your airline
How do you turn it on? I've just got one. It only shows a display when connected to power.
Button on the side or you can use the app
@@ExpressITTechTips Didn't work. Its a dud. Wont charge up. Seller is sending a replacement.
Ah well hopefully your replacement will be ok mines been solid as a rock
@@prestwickpioneer3474 Same happened to me except nothing was turning on at all

Good stuff you won’t regret your purchase I’m sure. It holds up really well this device I’m just waiting to get the base station
Thank you.
You're welcome!
“ what do we mean by supporting Bluetooth “ I’d say that’s pretty bloody self explanatory. Da
I noticed when you're charging the unit it does not allow you to charge units well it's being charged, is this a passive device.
Yes it has pass through charging

I’ve not seen that setting I’m trying to work out your looping comment I assume you mean trying to charge itself 😂

Right yeah it doesnt allow pass through charging this is to protect the device from over heating and the battery itself
I purchased this but was not able to reach the max output, max I reached was 90
What device did you have this plugged into to reach 90
@@ExpressITTechTips Samsung s23

Mine comes today, anything I should watch out for?
Not massively I think the main thing was getting it to pair with the app you have to follow the instructions not just try and wing it like I did
whats the charge time from flat?
Was mentioned in the video depends on the charger you use but no more than about 90 mins roughly

Good tip there never actually read it myself 😳
Good review. Better if you stopped biting you nails.

🤣
my 737 turned to crap after a year of owning it. Turns off once it reaches the 60-79% charge left
Overheats all day
Really never had that issue myself
