Something like this but also doubling as a USB hub would be the most perfect solution to all of my USB related problems. No idea why the majority of USB hubs these days use a short tiny cable that is basically only designed for laptops, and don't do power delivery.
ugreens 300W nextode charger is absolut ass, i have to send in mine to amazon for a refund, ugreens quality controll is ass IMO. After only 6 monts of light use my 300W nextode dies on ports c2 and c3 (100W boath) now im getting the anker one form this video, it looks amazing
@wwjoshdew On my unit, regardless of whether display brightness is set to min, max, or anything in between, the display appears relatively low contrast, with a washed-out gray hue in the background behind all text. It's most noticeable in a dimmer room lighting environment. While I'm sure that Anker didn't use an OLED panel in this, capable of absolute blacks, it seems as though it should be considerably more contrasting than this, if only for text legibility. Can I trouble you for input from your end? If you look at your unit head on, with the clock screensaver running, are able to see the hazy gray background of the entire display, with a noticeable break to absolute black when the actual, non-display front surface begins?
There’s no difference between the rounded and squared off power cords other than the shape. Thanks for the video! I might have to put this on my wishlist. An Amazon review with photo showing the date slightly incorrect as the 23th instead of 23rd, but I assume that can be resolved with a firmware update
Thanks for this. Finally I see the AC cable is not permanently attached. Easier to pack for travel. I have the tall vertical one but you have to also carry the heavy mount. A pain.
I always play on inverted on console. I think it just comes from the amount of time i have spent using tripods. They are inverted just by how they work with you being behind the pivot point. So you lift the handle up to tilt camera down etc. This looks awesome though. I almost bought the old version on Amazon few days back because it was on special. But i think i will wait for this to come out here now. I really do wish they took that port control one step further. And gave us a manual mode where you can set the ports to whatever max wattage you want. For me it would be 100w (for Macbook) 25w (for 15 Pro Max) 25w (for S24 Ultra) Then let the 4th USB C and the USB A ports stay on auto for whatever else i randomly plug in, powerbanks/my old iPhone 11 work phone etc.

Honestly, these are my most used: amzn.to/4dkYIcp they support 5amps (so 45w super fast charging 2.0 if you're a samsung user) and can charge a device up to 100 watts. Love them!! For my power banks, I buy these cables: amzn.to/3SW5VaH (and they are on sale for 7.99!! I'm buying a couple more right now!!)

The next upgrade should have a Touchscreen OLED display and auto-off when charging is complete to the devices' preserve battery life. Almost perfect, knob on a charging device is a No for me.
Hey, there was an update for the charger today and in the update notes it says “This update introduces custom charging modes, fixes various issues, and enhances device performance”. However nothing changed for the different charging modes. Do you know whats this about?
it's the viewing angle. if you get down to view it at eye level, it's clear. but when it's below eye level, like it will be for 99% of people while it's sitting on your desk, it's hazy. essentially the screen has horrible viewing angles...and it's one of the reasons I'm returning mine.
Can you or someone that owns this help me out a bit? I just got mine from Amazon yesterday, and when it’s in AI mode, it won’t charge my Apple Watch or phone. To paint a better picture, I have this product with an Anker 250w cable connected to the Anker 3-1 Mag-Go charger for my phone Apple Watch in earbuds. W/$ is poor on this device. I went with the 200w because it has better value (for Anker 😂), and provides nearly the same amount of power. Also, it’s still not available in Canada. Now that I think about it, the only reason I didn’t buy the 250w is because it’s not available in Canada. Anker never sells their cool products to Canada!! It’s unfair!
Though i like me some anker stuff i think they are getting a little too big with their pricing. They do have great customer service but again their lricing is getting a little bit overboard. Baseus and ugreen are goong to swoop in and undercut them with sumiliar products

@@JohnSmith-ef8nr I'm often using my 16" MacBook and two Anker 737 on the go while working and sometimes I need to recharge them quickly. These alone draw 3x 140W. Let alone recharging my Phone, Vape, iPad, Watch etc. And a huge problem (what this Anker Prime charger seems to improve with it's smart algorithm) is that devices don't share it's power perfectly, but in fixed steps. I'm currently using an Ugreen Nexode 200W charger and it has fixed outputs. Say: If you plug in 4 USB-C devices, the 4th device always gets 20W reserved. My Vape only uses like 4, but 16W are wasted because the other ports can't use it. The third device gets 40W reserved, even if my iPhone uses just 15W on it's MagSafe charger. So I always have to juggle around the plugged in devices to do it as fast as possible. If I plugin only my MacBook and one Powerbank they both get 100W and use the maximum power of my charger. If I plugin my vape in any other port and it uses 4W, both 100W ports get downgraded to 65W. So I loose 70W by using 4W. That's why some headroom would be great so nothing is limited by other things.
So basically, the price of these products has been steadily rising because people want to be able to fast charge their smartphones and their gaming laptops simultaneously. Personally, I see no reason to try and USBC charge everything simultaneously when the power draw is so high - especially from one device. I travel annually for about a month-2 months in a row. I only fly business class. Business class lounges normally provide a charging socket TYPE A/B so you can plug in a smartphone charger. If you have a 100W GaN adapter with 2 or 3 ports you should be able to charge your phone, smartwatch and earpods simultaneously - even though you'd probably only be charging your phone at any given time. It makes more sense to me to use the laptop's dedicated adapter so you get a steady, pure energy flow to it alone. In my hotel room, I want a charger with my laptop at the desk and I want a separate charger at my nightstand. That means I'll carry two 100W GaN chargers with me. To put all this stress on just one power station is risky in my opinion. The other issue I see is that these charging stations mostly do not have built in wireless charging for Magsafe phones on top of themselves. That to me is wasted space. I bring a magsafe pad with me because if my phone gets wet at the beach or pool, the port won't work till it dries. the magsafe WILL work however. I can't justify $180 for these power stations till they add in wireless charging.
weird! I tried on my iphone and android, and it launches Chrome on my phone and takes me to the Anker website. On my desktop with Firefox, it takes me to the Anker page as well. I'm in the United States, if that matters at all.

This needs some AI features. Like … port A is for phones and once it’s 100% or trickle charging…the power turns off until a new device is connected. So you don’t keep devices at 100% for hours while you sleep and without Any input from user
🤷♂why does everyone use AI in an overloaded sense... there's no AI involved in power balancing between which devices, its part of the USB-C standard. Its how you can use a Mac charger on your mac and the same USB lead on your iPhone 15 but charge at the lesser amount of power... I enjoyed the review, but there's nothing AI about it other than Anker (who I'm a big fan of) jumping on the PR bandwagon.
Anker are far from being the best anymore, they've become too expensive and also their efficiency rating is poor. Inui are better and more efficient and cheaper. Inui supply anker and ugreen just so everyone knows.

Anker are far from being the best anymore, they've become too expensive and also their efficiency rating is poor. Inui are better and more efficient and cheaper. Inui supply anker and ugreen just so everyone knows.
