The people in the comments do not understand that animation quality includes art style, how characters are drawn, and manga adaptation quality. animation doesn't just refer to the frame rate/smoothness it is the sum of every detail, lighting, shading, character accuracy and what not. this video is a legitimate criticism.
as for season 3 I'd rather the studio change a third time considering the likely hood of JC shitting the bed on the quality again isn't very low, though there's no doubt in my mind its gonna stay jc. It doesn't have to be MAD house or basically any other reputable animation studio.
Dude anime art and manga art are never exactly the same and the others like lighting and frame rate your right about but the video did not talk about that it only showed how the art is a little bit different look at God of high school they have good animation but the art is not the same that's why people are complaining cause It did not show anything about the animation being shit just the art being change we wasted people time
Solo _King.vibezz He did address the frame rate at the beginning at 0:01 and of course the anime and manga won’t look exactly the same but u can see the objective downgrade, the characters faces looked completely different compared to the manga. you can’t tell me at 2:22 that’s just a art style change, that just looks bad. he’s not pointing out the difference run art or that’s what i believe he’s not trying to emphasize, it’s a clear objective down grade in quality, not just a “difference”.

What are you on about? Murata loves using soft gradients to texture and fill out 3d shapes, look at any of his colour artwork and you'll see gradients being used everywhere to render different textures
Garou's face in the manga is very realistic. You could clearly imagine him as an 18 yr old. While in the Anime he looks like an old man. Now i know why the kid with an almanac calls him old dude 😂🤦
It’s still insane how good the animation is for something made in a little over a week. They had 6 months for 12 episodes. For comparison a favourite anime of mine, Mob Psycho 100 has 6 months for ONE EPISODE
If one punch man was some other normal anime, I don't think people would be mad. The reason it makes us mad is that one punch man is the golden standard for what good animation should be, the one that every aspiring animators look at for inspiration and JC staff shits on its dedicated fans.
@SAMURAI I'd say one of the only examples of an anime being better than the manga is Attack on Titan (I'm only including the story up to where season 3 part 2 ends, because season 4 isn't out yet). It's just the overall art style that makes the anime better, and the godlike animation also helps elevate the show. There are other shows that in my opinion exceed the manga, eg. Haikyuu but those are only outliers. Generally I do indeed agree that the manga is more often than not better than the anime. Sorry if my response was too lengthy.

Mangakas have all the time in the world to put details into their still frames and they only have to focus on drawing ONE frame at a time...that's like you saying "A written novel has more details put into it than a movie", that's like duh, they have different methods for making them and different circumstances, so comparing different mediums is unreasonable (especially considering the mangaka isn't working on the anime). And guess what, anime doesn't have to be a carbon copy of the source material to be a good adaptation; ever seen movies/shows like Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, First Blood and how much did they have to cut and change from their source material, yet are still considered some of the greatest adaptations in cinema history? You see, the problem is that manga fanboys are too clingy to the source material and don't understand what an "Adaptation" is...and think that a good adaptation has to be a carbon copy of a book of still images or a book of text.
If they don't get the season 1 animation team and director back for season 3, I'm going to be genuinely upset. If you've seen the manga, you know that it needs to be done justice, especially the battles.

They couldn’t get garous face down at all, which made him seem very generic in the anime as some common thug while in manga you can see many different faces he makes and understand how immature and mischievous he is. Also somn I wish you would of shown was how slim he is in the manga compared to being sorta overly beefy in anime in certain scenes
I want to say that OPM season 2 is not exactly bad animated, It was great animated, But the standard of the anime goes high because of the season 1 that has been TOO GOOD.
The fights were pretty bad though. Like don't get me wrong the animation overall is not bad, but when you have fights and especially with martial arts and flashy movements, they shouldn't look like 2 people just flopping their arms at each other.

JC actually did great job , but the only flaw is because The ghosting and darkening are just measures that had to be used in the TV version to prevent epileptic seizures because japan rules and registration and all that, now Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 had the same problem , i wish streaming service could acquire the unfiltered version direct from the studio , not taking the filters Tv version to streaming 😢

IDK how there are so many useful idiots defending season 2 after the literally industry redefining season 1. I'm sure if fans had been asked would you wait another 4-6 years for a 24 episode season 2 with season 1 quality and attention to detail, it would have been an overwhelming majority said yes.

The things I hated most about this season was the lost of impact during fight scenes, everything is so stiff or a cut away from the strike, wich completely removed the power of all the fight scenes. Also character just standing look akward as shit because they don't sketch out a pose, all they do is draw the muscles directly on the frame wich removes all the Dynamics from the body and results in bad anatomy (a chest 5× bigger than the head, legs that are too long compared too the rest of the body, crooked faces, etc.) The colors are another issue, I don't know why so many animation studios use the same gradient and almost dirt like color patern on everything, don't they realize that everything has a different surface with different gradients(hair, skin,walls,tiles,sand,etc.)? I also would recommend them too use more "extreme" colors too give a nice contrast( like the old animes who used colors that were at extremities on their palet instead of picking the color right underneath the initialy color used ( for example: red-> slightly darker red❌, red->->-> way darker red✅.) And now for those weird blurs during a fight scenes and terrible sound effects. Jesus, who decided that vibrating the whole screen too create some sort of impact? I can't even tell you how terrible the fight scenes are because because I can't even see what's going on, it feels like I'm going thru a seizure every time it happens. And the sound effects are just a guy punching a bag or rice then they reverb and base boost the whole thing, then they just add a couple of party poppers too the thing, they were as bad as toei animations sound effects.
I know right, they went on a simplistic art direction whom they are used to, but that thing just ruined the whole thing since that direction is extremly limited to only slim guys and girls, the textures Are washed out making things like metal looks like a weird mercury looking mess

I think they were doomed from the moment the series switched animation studios. It’s really not that much more of a downgrade than most manga when translated into animated form, but that’s kind of the problem. The series is legendary because of how fantastic every aspect of it was in the first season. So for season two to have very run-of-the-mill animation issues is a massive disappointment.
I always noticed the character designs were kinda off but it never hindered my experience with Season 2. It still looks (nearly) accurate to the official Manga Art it’s just the head shapes are more slim than full so I can see why it’s kinda off putting for some people

@@gianfi_ the animation is sometimes bad but mostly good. What he said was true and the fluidness is what matters anyways. The later half of suiryu's fight with saitama was actually really well animated and same goes for garou vs tank top for the entire fight tbh. But dont go saying its the worst thing ever that you dont get so see manga version of art styles cause king was more similar to the manga in S2 than S1 anyways. And no studio can even come close to yusuke murata's artstyle while consistently animating it so every frame looks exactly from the manga.

Many shows have great art direction and bad animation (example Jojo's), or vice versa (I'd give an example for a show with great animation and bad art direction but art is too subjective to be able to find any example that a lot of people would agree with.)
I wouldn't call season 2 of opm "bad", when the blu-ray version was released a lot was cleaned up. But the reason season 2 was held in such low regard is because of the standard that the first season set. Season 1 was a passion project working with an outstanding director who had good connections within the industry, unfortunately this director couldn't come back for season 2. What I'm trying to say is that the second season wasn't objectively bad, the conditions of its productions were just different.
The thing about this season is that not a lot really happens in it, regardless of the animation quality, so honestly, I'm glad they managed to get this out of the way before a potential return for Madhouse Studios.
Who said we’re getting Madhouse back? Season 2 was only meant to build up Garou so even though you think not a lot happened it was an introduction to a character who’s basically the deuteragonist of the series
Garou is such a great and interesting character. And he looks really good in the manga and like an actual 18 year old. In the Anime they made him look like an old dude with super big muscles. xD Metal bat also looks way younger in the manga.
Considering the fact that they had a whole 3 years to make a season 2 knowing the hype surrounding one punch man is why people are complaining. It was still an alright season and still enjoyable for what it is alone but it’s so trash compared to what we all expected because OF WHAT IT ONCE WAS AND WHAT ITS CAPABLE OF BEING. My Hero Academia is able to have 25 episodes seasons back to back yearly with incredible animation but opm can’t even get a 12 episode season with incredible animation after THREE YEARS? If they ever release a season 3 they better make it 36 episodes done by both studio bones and madman combined, they better hire some crazy fucking directors and animators and give it a crazy high budget with season2 remastered being one 3rd of the 36 episodes I don’t care if this takes them a fucking decade it’s worth it
J.C. Staff only had a couple of months for the production since no animation studio wanted to risk with OPM, I enjoyed the second season and I am a manga reader so I don't know why they complain they gave the best they could in a few months of production, I respect them for that.
One thing I can say, is that whenever a title comes to JC staff, you can expect these two or more things from them. First everyone's heads and physique will suddenly become longer and have less depth or 3d looks, and most of the time scenes will turn into a Slideshow presentation. The difference are very noticeable especially in one of the recent animes they made, which is Tsukimichi.
Not as bad as Seven deadly seasons season 3 😂 But I can definitely say, they definitely didn't add the greater details like in the hair and got kinda lazy on the shading and be missing some the badass poses.
To be fair, the first season had like, one of if not the best animation studio for the job, so I wouldn't say that the animation is bad, it's only bad if compared to the first season animation...unlike Seven Deadly Sins S3...
@@zapzap9610 yes they had the time, as these contracts always start at specific times a year for the different release seasons. They all have the same production time depending on episode count.
I was worried that this would just be more unnecessary hate, but you really did point out some objectively bad/weird bits of animation, while not discrediting the parts where they did a decent job. One thing I noticed about season 2 is that the animation kept getting better as the season progressed. The fights at the end of the season may not have been season 1 quality, but they were still dang good.
@@williamschlass4598 I didn't want to assume it was a joke, lots of people use art and animation interchangeably.... With little time after they acquired it and limited experience in the area, JC Staff did quite well. Season one was easily the best animation of any media period IMO, but the animators were incredibly overworked, one man even to the point of suicide. It's best to just be glad that season one is as good as it is, and hope for the best going forward. Looking into it you'd find that there's no possible way that another passion project like season 1 will happen again, especially considering Madhouse's tendencies towards that. So why not just appreciate what we get? Season 2 was rough around the edges and plain bad at times, but those times were limited, and it had some really great moments too.
This video is so stupid, they barely had any time to do the whole anime and they did a really good job for the little time they had, also, comparing S1 to S2 is so unfair, even just comparing S1 to a bunch of other anime, S1 had way more time and a lot of extremely experienced artists and animators, S2 did as well but to a much lesser extent, and a lot of scenes/animations had to be simplified and watered down because of time and resources. Over-all I just feel like whoever did this video is not seeing the whole picture and is nitpicking for next to 0 reason.
yea the art is different bc is absolute shit compared to S1. The studio has changed? I know, I'm not the first to say that animations have gotten worse, I don't care if the animators are changed, the fact is: the new studio should review its staff.

The former studio ,Studio Madhouse, was in charge and was amazing because of the animators they had. The new studio don’t have that same staff so it’s going to look diffrent. Season 2 looks perfectly fine. Yes it is a piss-take that Madhouse handed OPM to J.C staff and it is a *definite* downgrade but I think you’re just being too spoilt. You got a taste of greatness and now because of that you can’t except normal quality.
@@f.9948 idk, i mean if they were to adopt an anime that had a good reputation on its first season (and also made us wait for 2-3 years) they should at least make it better. them not having good animators isn't really an excuse since they pretty much did a very good job with konosuba the movie at the same year. If the reason behind this "dissapointing animation" is due to different directors and animators then they should've handed the opm s2 in a much capable and skilled animators and directors, since this anime has been anticipated for a very long time. Them doing this low quality texture no one can help but feel dissappointed. Its like they just adopted a highly named anime with no season 2 and gave them to some rookies and let them do whatever the heck they want with it without giving consideration on how good its previous season was At this point, reading the manga is more enjoyable than watching this season

They had a real hard time with keeping things consistent, and shape of faces/ bodies it seems. I felt that way without being able to put my finger on it but every time a character came on the screen I’d be like “hmmm that chin doesn’t seem right” lmao so thanks for putting it compared directly Liek this.

Huh... Mappa's animators are pretty good. Check out jujutsu kaisen, the only reason they use too much cgi on Attack on Titan cause they only have a year to animate it.

Damn, now i notice how theres a big misconception between animation and the general art of the frames. Like the guy pinned by the creator of the video said, animation quality does indeed include art style but that does not apply to and especially still images. Having an image with a badly drawn anatomy/facial structure/etc and doing minimal movement isnt really bad "animation". Lets take a character blinking and staring into the distance. That character is badly drawn but it blinks. Do we just call the whole piece a bad animation just because it has slight movement in the eyes? Or do we call out of art itself which is the base of that "animation" to be corrected. This subject is a bit subjective but in moments where the character barely moves and barely does anything, i dont think we can just call it "bad animation". Its just bad art.
except it is bad, watch it again and pay attention to camera movements instead of animation, rotations of still frames, afterimages, sfx instead of details etc. it's cheap and looks only okay when you dont know what good animations look like.
The art is nowhere near the manga, but considering how rushed this season was it could've been way worse. Let's just hope they're taking their time with season 3.
You didn’t explain why garou’s muscles were bad. I mean I’m not anatomy expert but I think they get the point across to the audience. You also didn’t explain a lot of other things as well. I think this is just a vent video to let people know that you can’t get over the fact that they can’t pay the same guest animators a bunch of money twice in a row.
Once again, another moronic defender of this trash season. Shingo Natsume and his crew of freelancer's did not cost "a bunch of money" They made season 1 with an average budget. It was simply a work of passion and of course Natsume's experience/connections to other veterans of the industry. They 100% could have waited for Natsume to free up before making season 2 but they thought they'd lose more money waiting and letting hype drop so they went with the mediocre studio/team and it shows to anyone with two brain cells to rub together.
News flash...still images are not animation. You could make an argument for artstyle, but you can't expect it to match the manga's level, especially considering that mangakas have all the time in the world for their high quality still frames.. Ironically, when they traced some frames the manga people still whined about it even if it was being faithful to the source material.

Even though I don’t watch AOT, I agree about what you’re saying. I personally care more about what’s going on rather than how good it looks (one of the reasons I liked season 5 of MHA more than most people). Based off of story alone, I think I kind of like this season more.
I don't know why people are just hating without any reason . I didn't find anything too baad in season 2. And every anime have some bad frames, so why it's a big issue ?? These same people supports Naruto shuch consists so much bad animation scenes .
The things that he pointed out do seem a little weird now I see them, but there are some parts in number 2 that look AMAZING, like the explosions and stuff, and some fight scenes. I thought on average the animation in 2 was better. Like the backgrounds, the details etc.
Yeah... Can't deny that. But the season failed to pack the same punch as season 1 and that I'm saying not in terms of the plot or story but in terms of the graphics and the way they animated it.
If you can't convince people that season 1 was objectively better in every way (not just animation), then they are either legally blind and should have their driver's licenses revoked or you're not making the comparison properly. EVERYTHING was off about season 2: animation, art, direction, sound effects... etc. etc. of course even these things can be broken down into more detailed things but the best way to demonstrate this is to simply watch both seasons back to back or even just watch one episode of s1 and then an episode of s2 right after and it's impossible to miss.
Even if you don't know anything about animation and can't notice the change, you'll surely feel the difference between s1 and s2, s1 animation had a big impact while s2 is just, boring to look at.

Fine doesn't justify manga which is top notch Fine is not a benchmark here because animation detail is critical in OPM where scenes like fighting and action is given much emphasis. AOT manga was sh%t yet they gave the best detail and visuals in the anime.

@SAMURAI I'd say one of the only examples of an anime being better than the manga is Attack on Titan (I'm only including the story up to where season 3 part 2 ends, because season 4 isn't out yet). It's just the overall art style that makes the anime better, and the godlike animation also helps elevate the show. There are other shows that in my opinion exceed the manga, eg. Haikyuu but those are only outliers. Generally I do indeed agree that the manga is more often than not better than the anime. Sorry if my response was too lengthy.

Mangakas have all the time in the world to put details into their still frames and they only have to focus on drawing ONE frame at a time...that's like you saying "A written novel has more details put into it than a movie", that's like duh, they have different methods for making them and different circumstances, so comparing different mediums is unreasonable (especially considering the mangaka isn't working on the anime).
And guess what, anime doesn't have to be a carbon copy of the source material to be a good adaptation; ever seen movies/shows like Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, First Blood and how much did they have to cut and change from their source material, yet are still considered some of the greatest adaptations in cinema history?
You see, the problem is that manga fanboys are too clingy to the source material and don't understand what an "Adaptation" is...and think that a good adaptation has to be a carbon copy of a book of still images or a book of text.
If they don't get the season 1 animation team and director back for season 3, I'm going to be genuinely upset. If you've seen the manga, you know that it needs to be done justice, especially the battles.

I want to say that OPM season 2 is not exactly bad animated, It was great animated, But the standard of the anime goes high because of the season 1 that has been TOO GOOD.
The fights were pretty bad though. Like don't get me wrong the animation overall is not bad, but when you have fights and especially with martial arts and flashy movements, they shouldn't look like 2 people just flopping their arms at each other.

JC actually did great job , but the only flaw is because The ghosting and darkening are just measures that had to be used in the TV version to prevent epileptic seizures because japan rules and registration and all that, now Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 had the same problem , i wish streaming service could acquire the unfiltered version direct from the studio , not taking the filters Tv version to streaming 😢

Atleast Be happy that we got a season 2, If you don’t really like the anime then go for the manga. I’d hate it more if you are someone that uses illegal sites to watch animes like One punch man s2 and still complains about the bad animation.
The things I hated most about this season was the lost of impact during fight scenes, everything is so stiff or a cut away from the strike, wich completely removed the power of all the fight scenes. Also character just standing look akward as shit because they don't sketch out a pose, all they do is draw the muscles directly on the frame wich removes all the Dynamics from the body and results in bad anatomy (a chest 5× bigger than the head, legs that are too long compared too the rest of the body, crooked faces, etc.)
The colors are another issue, I don't know why so many animation studios use the same gradient and almost dirt like color patern on everything, don't they realize that everything has a different surface with different gradients(hair, skin,walls,tiles,sand,etc.)? I also would recommend them too use more "extreme" colors too give a nice contrast( like the old animes who used colors that were at extremities on their palet instead of picking the color right underneath the initialy color used ( for example: red-> slightly darker red❌, red->->-> way darker red✅.)
And now for those weird blurs during a fight scenes and terrible sound effects. Jesus, who decided that vibrating the whole screen too create some sort of impact? I can't even tell you how terrible the fight scenes are because because I can't even see what's going on, it feels like I'm going thru a seizure every time it happens. And the sound effects are just a guy punching a bag or rice then they reverb and base boost the whole thing, then they just add a couple of party poppers too the thing, they were as bad as toei animations sound effects.

I think they were doomed from the moment the series switched animation studios. It’s really not that much more of a downgrade than most manga when translated into animated form, but that’s kind of the problem. The series is legendary because of how fantastic every aspect of it was in the first season. So for season two to have very run-of-the-mill animation issues is a massive disappointment.

Many shows have great art direction and bad animation (example Jojo's), or vice versa (I'd give an example for a show with great animation and bad art direction but art is too subjective to be able to find any example that a lot of people would agree with.)
I wouldn't call season 2 of opm "bad", when the blu-ray version was released a lot was cleaned up. But the reason season 2 was held in such low regard is because of the standard that the first season set. Season 1 was a passion project working with an outstanding director who had good connections within the industry, unfortunately this director couldn't come back for season 2. What I'm trying to say is that the second season wasn't objectively bad, the conditions of its productions were just different.

The thing about this season is that not a lot really happens in it, regardless of the animation quality, so honestly, I'm glad they managed to get this out of the way before a potential return for Madhouse Studios.

Garou is such a great and interesting character. And he looks really good in the manga and like an actual 18 year old. In the Anime they made him look like an old dude with super big muscles. xD Metal bat also looks way younger in the manga.
Considering the fact that they had a whole 3 years to make a season 2 knowing the hype surrounding one punch man is why people are complaining. It was still an alright season and still enjoyable for what it is alone but it’s so trash compared to what we all expected because OF WHAT IT ONCE WAS AND WHAT ITS CAPABLE OF BEING. My Hero Academia is able to have 25 episodes seasons back to back yearly with incredible animation but opm can’t even get a 12 episode season with incredible animation after THREE YEARS? If they ever release a season 3 they better make it 36 episodes done by both studio bones and madman combined, they better hire some crazy fucking directors and animators and give it a crazy high budget with season2 remastered being one 3rd of the 36 episodes I don’t care if this takes them a fucking decade it’s worth it

J.C. Staff only had a couple of months for the production since no animation studio wanted to risk with OPM, I enjoyed the second season and I am a manga reader so I don't know why they complain they gave the best they could in a few months of production, I respect them for that.

One thing I can say, is that whenever a title comes to JC staff, you can expect these two or more things from them. First everyone's heads and physique will suddenly become longer and have less depth or 3d looks, and most of the time scenes will turn into a Slideshow presentation. The difference are very noticeable especially in one of the recent animes they made, which is Tsukimichi.

S1 is impossible to repeat. It was just a lot of animators who were friends with the directors doing a lot of work for art's sake.
I was worried that this would just be more unnecessary hate, but you really did point out some objectively bad/weird bits of animation, while not discrediting the parts where they did a decent job. One thing I noticed about season 2 is that the animation kept getting better as the season progressed. The fights at the end of the season may not have been season 1 quality, but they were still dang good.

With little time after they acquired it and limited experience in the area, JC Staff did quite well. Season one was easily the best animation of any media period IMO, but the animators were incredibly overworked, one man even to the point of suicide. It's best to just be glad that season one is as good as it is, and hope for the best going forward. Looking into it you'd find that there's no possible way that another passion project like season 1 will happen again, especially considering Madhouse's tendencies towards that. So why not just appreciate what we get? Season 2 was rough around the edges and plain bad at times, but those times were limited, and it had some really great moments too.

If the reason behind this "dissapointing animation" is due to different directors and animators then they should've handed the opm s2 in a much capable and skilled animators and directors, since this anime has been anticipated for a very long time. Having an image with a badly drawn anatomy/facial structure/etc and doing minimal movement isnt really bad "animation".
Lets take a character blinking and staring into the distance. That character is badly drawn but it blinks. Do we just call the whole piece a bad animation just because it has slight movement in the eyes?
Or do we call out of art itself which is the base of that "animation" to be corrected.
This subject is a bit subjective but in moments where the character barely moves and barely does anything, i dont think we can just call it "bad animation". Its just bad art.

Once again, another moronic defender of this trash season. Shingo Natsume and his crew of freelancer's did not cost "a bunch of money" They made season 1 with an average budget. It was simply a work of passion and of course Natsume's experience/connections to other veterans of the industry. They 100% could have waited for Natsume to free up before making season 2 but they thought they'd lose more money waiting and letting hype drop so they went with the mediocre studio/team and it shows to anyone with two brain cells to rub together.

They need to change the studio before s3 man..the manga is now has amazing art and details......i don't think jc stuff can even animate one of the chapters from the manga.....the worst part i hate about s2 is bad animation and cgi stuff ....I'm afraid if they animate orochi into a cgi .....that will be the end for opm .....i have alot of things to say about s2 but I'm fucking tired right now so i will keep it simple.....i just want them to do justice to the manga thats all i need......

Even though I don’t watch AOT, I agree about what you’re saying. I personally care more about what’s going on rather than how good it looks (one of the reasons I liked season 5 of MHA more than most people). Based off of story alone, I think I kind of like this season more.
I mean they only had like a year to do it, but it's still really funny to see the errors XD

The things that he pointed out do seem a little weird now I see them, but there are some parts in number 2 that look AMAZING, like the explosions and stuff, and some fight scenes. I thought on average the animation in 2 was better. Like the backgrounds, the details etc.
Yeah... Can't deny that. But the season failed to pack the same punch as season 1 and that I'm saying not in terms of the plot or story but in terms of the graphics and the way they animated it.
If you can't convince people that season 1 was objectively better in every way (not just animation), then they are either legally blind and should have their driver's licenses revoked or you're not making the comparison properly. EVERYTHING was off about season 2: animation, art, direction, sound effects... etc. etc. of course even these things can be broken down into more detailed things but the best way to demonstrate this is to simply watch both seasons back to back or even just watch one episode of s1 and then an episode of s2 right after and it's impossible to miss.
Even if you don't know anything about animation and can't notice the change, you'll surely feel the difference between s1 and s2, s1 animation had a big impact while s2 is just, boring to look at.

garous became a god level threat at 18. his jaw length made him more masculine, instead of having him look like a block head. you cannot complain about how he old he looks when 1. its a anime 2. he became capable of destroying galaxies at 18

Fine is not a benchmark here because animation detail is critical in OPM where scenes like fighting and action is given much emphasis.
AOT manga was sh%t yet they gave the best detail and visuals in the anime.

But still idk why but I kinda forgot about the animation after first few episodes, maybe I was too much into the story or something...
