This actually would be a cool multiplayer idea. Kan, Moonbo, cosmo, ect. build a off-road vehicle to then race it against each other, and base the winner on Aesthetics, suspension and of course who the fastest racer was.
The first trophy truck after you showed yours. The real life ones are a engineering masterpiece. They really absorb the shocks instead of bouncing passengers around like a Ford SUV
Scrapman, Look for a vehicle in the workshop, idk if it will come up because i made it on PS4, but its called Wolverine V1, its white and its the version without the spoiler, but its a good race car besides some grip issues but i would suggest doing separate surfaces or it just spins out for some reason, dont know why but weirdly all the combos compatible with this build did the same thing, soo just sticked with the original
You should make a series of more astroneer now that it has been a long time, also if you feel like it, u can try old games you played. Bty I would love to see it 😍
I've been looking for a trailmakers suspension video that's not a tutorial but shows how they are different although a tutorial would be nice great video scrapman
I vote number 1. It was cool, and did the course fast with little dmg. But the last one was impressive and faster with no dmg… if not as easy on the eye. My first complex creation was recently for the weekly challenge, a Mechasaurus. It’s a near fully poseable brontosaurus, that also drives. But now I have to try and make a rock crawler too. I actually build Jeeps so, this’ll be fun. Anyway, I’m xCombatTestedx on xbl. 🙋♂️

11:44 It looks like double wishbones with extra suspension I think wishbones are supposed to stick out the sides and three stick out the front and back but close enough
the steering hinges are vital component to trophy truck suspension, that is why yours did not behave like the white, blue, and red one that you showcased this episode.
As a semi suspension enthusiast i find some of these cars cringe cause they dont actually have solid axle suspensions and one of the geometry of them will not even let the suspension work

Agree,Especially (in my opinion) when the car almost stays leveled/makes the car(the body not including wheels) less contact with the terrain

The main reason scrap man’s trophy truck was bouncy was probably due to the rear suspension arm not being able to flex/roll.
