    Thanks for the video; looking forward to part 2 and some comparisons. I think it's an interesting concept as it's slim but still 4" plus barrel and good ergo's with a lot of 1911 influence. I'm interested and glad some reviews like yours that didn't get a free one are starting to be put out. Be well sir thanks for your info.

    I thoroughly enjoy your channel and your company. I am a new subscriber. It does appear to me, at least thus far, that you are primarily focused / pushing mainly 9MM platforms. That’s great, however, I would really like to see more of the modern offerings available in .45ACP and especially 10MM. Thoughts?

      @rdrgear  6 месяцев назад

      I’m not a 10mm guy. I have one review coming on 10mm. I have to buy a lot of these guns for review. So 45 outside of a 1911 will be limited and 10mm will be super limited.
      I also don’t keep up with the newer 45 and 10mm polymer guns. 9mm is the standard with the majority of my customer base. I do appreciate you watching and supporting. 🤙

    Have it in rmr milled from the begging and do plate from that or copy the echelon - that would even be better

    I don’t understand why the plate system is considered the standard.
    I’ve been interested in a Stacatto recently, but it seems like everything on their website at least comes cut for plates. I just can’t get behind a $2500 dollar gun that requires me to install a $40 metal plate to mount my $300+ red dot. Especially from Stacatto where a lot of LEO carry this platform, plates just adds an extra point of failure.
    I’d be more than happy with an additional 4 week lead time for a direct mount.

      @@mmpg8940 this will be a debate for the ages. But at the end of the day. With the selection of red dots direct cuts will be tough. And there is plenty of data out there showing which plates have issues. And there are a lot of companies now offering steel plates. The failure rate on rds plates is still so Small it’s not something many worries about

    Yoda was here. Yoda never leaves Dagobah with a light saber and a DD H9.

    The Hudson H9 and 365xl are the two guns I edc. The only reason I'll grab this DD is for the red dot compatibility. That's the only gripe I have with my H9, otherwise I love it. Thanks for posting honest coverage

    How about that sharp unrounded beavertail that is a clothing snag for edc?

    • @danielk9475
      @danielk9475 6 месяцев назад +2

      Been concealed carrying mine for about 2 weeks. The beavertail doesn't snag on clothes or print but it does press into my stomach at times and is uncomfortable. It's a bad design and my one complaint with the gun.

    • @rdrgear
      @rdrgear  6 месяцев назад +3

      No. It’s not sharp at all. Part two will address the concealed carry aspect. I’m not sure how well the H9 will do in that space. Outside of DD fans and supporters. There are many pistols that shoot better than the H9 in my opinion in the same price point and below.

    I don’t agree at all. To compare this to the G19 or all the other near $1200 options is insane. This gun will not drive the market in any way.
