    Glad yours is working well. I like the way mine shoots and the concept but it's having lots of failure to feed issues. With Federal 115 it was only on the 1st round when dropping the slide using the slide stop. Sling shotting it was 50-50.
    Downloading the mag didn't improve it. It happened less and less as I got more rounds through the gun. Two buddies that got a launch guns at the same issue and it went away around 250 rounds. I didn't get mine that high with the 115.
    The gun does not seem to like 124 Ammo Inc at all though. I've run around 1500 rounds of it through my Staccato with zero issues. Also it's run fine in some custom P365 builds and a CR920P. Hoping it's just the ammo but was having 2-4 Failures to feed per 15 round magazine.
    I definitely want to see how this gun is doing in a year after some running changes.

      @@XRING Have fun down there! Gun seems to have a lot of potential. Making a pistol from scratch I'm sure will have teething issues. I'm hoping some different ammo will fix the problem.

    If any of you are having failure to feed issues, contact Daniel for a replacement barrel. Some of the earlier release pistols got out without QA recognizing an out of spec chamber polishing issue.

  • @RadarDylan

    After a new barrel, guide rod and striker, I’m at round 910 with zero issues of any kind other than failure to stay open on empty. Which is likely my fault due to riding the slide too high. On their social media platforms, I had been throwing an absolute fit for spending 1400 on a handgun with so many issues at first so I am far from any kind of shill. Still on the fence but very slowly becoming a believer. I’d like to see what happens as I get closer to 1500-2000 rounds. Thank for the review.

    It's cool but not carry worthy. Too many issues. Mine has started locking back while rounds are still in the mag. Lots of people with feeding issues. Bullets Tumbling. Saw a broken striker today. Just all around a terrible release. I really like the design and enjoy shooting it but it's gotta go. Wish I could get my money back.

      This video shows good reliability and Ray has historically not been a shill. What data do you have to refute the findings here? I hope more than random internet rumor and people who limp wrist and dont know how to drive a gun. Genuinely interested if you have data.

      The original commenter appears to be an owner with firsthand experience. He states clearly that he likes the design a lot. Leave the stupid “limp wristing” comment to Kimber Customer Service.
      My only firsthand experience with a Daniels Defense product was extremely positive. Someone brought me an AR that wouldn’t cycle. Turned out it had more than 3,000 rounds without any cleaning. Everything was high quality and once cleaned up it ran like a top. However, getting a handgun out the door without any hiccups is pretty difficult.

      @RockinRack 4 месяца назад +5

      @L0NGRNGE the same data you see here. Videos of these issues. Just look at the reviews on RUclips. I'm not saying Ray is lying. I had 0 issues first 500rnds. And I love the gun.
      But mine doesn't like to eject a live round. Known issue but doesn't bother me too much. Recently has started locking back when not empty. Have not seen that issue yet. People have had some nightmares with theirs. I was lucky and mine has minor issues. But with all that in mind the seed of doubt has been planted and I'll hold off carrying something I don't trust 100% at this time

    I’ve been watching the H9 rollout with interest. I’ve seen several guys finding that their gun key holes bullets out past ten or fifteen yards. Did you notice any bullet wobble? Did you out it onto paper at farther distances to see if it key holed? Apparently some guns left the factory with out-of-spec barrels. At least I have seen two different reviewers who showed sent bullets that did not adequately grab rifling. What are your thoughts on that? Thanks

      Hey Rotaman. I have only shot paper at 25 yards and no keyholing with any of the ammo that I have been running.

    The review seems pretty bias. Can definitely tell they sent u the pistol. I mean, u said the lack of front strap checkering allows u to shift the grip for n easy mag change? U and i both know thats not a thing, somewhat disappointed, not "mad" as i can think for myself, but disappointed.

    • @XRING
      @XRING  4 месяца назад

      No bias at all just my sincere thoughts about the pistol. The lack of vertical lines didn’t bother me at all and there is plenty of grip on the pistol for a carry gun.
      I am really picky about grip texture. Since I carry up against my belly I don’t like anything that has a lot of texture. This is why I never stipple any of my carry pistols. Now my competition rigs are literally like cheese graters and the more the better. Except when you rake your elbow across one. 🤣

  • @DaveandDebe
    @DaveandDebe 2 месяца назад

    Total price of Crap! The ergonomics are pretty much the worst I have ever felt on a handgun. Just pitiful. Any review should basically tell you how horrible the gun feels in your hand. I have baby hands and my baby hand feels like a giant claw because the grip is so pitiful. Failure to feed, failure to fire, wonky slide, horrible trigger,, these things suck!!
