    I had a thumb injury last year that made me need to use a brace on my left hand. To play at all, I needed clubs with a tremendous amount of bounce (due to how shallow I had to approach the ball) and found I could hit my hybrids better than my irons. So, I actually bought these clubs. I loved them so much that, even though the injury has healed, I am continuing to play with them. I am a 60 year old 3 hdcp golfer and found that I just enjoy hitting these clubs. They are just fun to play with. The bonus...seeing the look on the faces of some playing partners that can't believe I just shot in the low 70s with these clubs!!

    • @kevinvassago
      @kevinvassago 8 месяцев назад

      Do they go all the way up to lob wedge? Or are your SW & LW still traditional irons?
      *edit: oh btw, you should post a pic of your bag on the golf subreddit. There's so many ppl who absolutely love the game but struggle playing from injury or other issues, and I'm sure they'd love to hear about your experience using these clubs

    I purchased these earlier this year. An absolute must have for better experience. I’m a 9 handicap and my ball striking and control are so much better. Not just for a high handicap. They just work and make it easier to hit quality shots.

    I'm 58 and a 8 handicap, I switched to a full set of these and they are so much fun and so forgiving. It's odd seeing so many RUclips golfers reviewing these, loving them but concluding 'yep they're more consistent than my own irons but I just prefer the look of blades’. It's like sticking with Persimmon drivers or a bullseye putter

    • @JamesRinaldi
      @JamesRinaldi 9 месяцев назад +1

      You are correct. I laugh at some RUclipsrs who say I need my blades for workability. Yet SG was able to work fade and draws.

    I bought a full set last fall. They are as advertised. Full swings result in high-lofted, very accruate strokes. They produce similar results in fairways and low rough conditions, and perform like a traditional hybrid in deep rough. They do not bomb strokes significantly longer than similarly lofted game improvement irons, but they were like Howitzers compared to my traditionally-lofted 20-year old irons. For example, I hit my 36-degree 7-iron about 150, and I hit the 39-degree Eleven 9-iron about the same. I have carried 3-, 4-, and 5-hybrids in the past and found the Eleven clubs in this range to be very comparable to 10-15 year old models offered by the more expensive brands. (Please note that you can purchase individual clubs if you are simply looking for a low-priced, quality hybrid). I do have some downside concerns. First, full swings produce great results, but there isn't any "workability"--the design mitigates hooks and slices, so draws and fades are not something easy to produce. I also use my traditional pitching wedge around the green more than most golfers--more "bump-and-run" and less "flop" in my game--and I haven't been comfortable with the Eleven version in similar use. There isn't the same "feel" you get with traditional irons, especially if you are a "handsy" player like me. Finally, the head covers are annoying but necessary (if you don't want the heads all scratched up) and they take up an extraordinary amount of space in your bag. That said, I would not be surprised to see the name brands take notice and start offering similar club designs. One last note, I found customer service at Eleven Golf to be outstanding. I may have jumped in early when demand was lower, but I got exceptional service from people at all levels.

      Thanks for a well written and in depth personal experience on the course. I just tried some last week and was kind of shocked how much i liked them. I really liked 3-6 iron replacement. Kind of preferred my actual irons 7-sw for workability.

    I am a 44 year old high handicap golfer (but getting better) who plays a 7, 9, and PW hybrid from Eleven Golf with 80g stiff shafts. I received them last fall. I’ve played multiple rounds with them last fall and this spring and cannot say enough about the clubs. They are forgiving on mishits, and launch high, land soft, and just plain work when struck well. They are great off the tee, for chipping, and for bump-and-runs if you have room to roll out.
    I have trouble using them for pitch shots/30 to 70 yard shots. (But I have trouble with those shots no matter the club).
    My 7 iron swing speed is between the speeds recommended for the 80g and 70g KBS shaft flex so I went with 80g. I probably should have gotten the 70g because the KBS shafts are much stiffer than the stiff flex in my Ping driver and 3-wood.
    They are well built but I’ve noticed cosmetic wear and tear on the face of the clubs but no performance issues.
    I’m extremely happy with the clubs, would absolutely buy them again, and will probably add the 3h and 5h to round out my “odd” set.
    And at about $113 for each hybrid, they provide great value.
    Hope this helps.

    I have a set of these, and an ex pro pal of mine is also using them. These are incredible, i use them sometimes, but as i play a windy course, they are a bit spinny for me. My pal is loving his, and as an ex pro gets some strange looks. His scores justify the choice, not that you should need to justify anything. Dispersion is incredible, ease of use makes it a no brainer for senior golfers of any level, also suits new start golfers. On the course, hit them like irons, so compress the ball, don’t sweep too much, if you compress the ball, they fly long and straight.

    I have used a full set of Lazrus hybrid clubs off and on for about 2 years. My other clubs I recently sold were Callaway X20’s. The Lazrus were 2-PW, which I also sold.
    I now have a senior set of Lazrus hybrids 1-AW, yes 11 clubs, I added a wide sole 58 & 65 by Lazrus with an Odyssey putter. I also picked up a used Adams V3 hybrid set.
    The Lazrus clubs are very forgiving and about 20-25 yards longer than my irons were when both are struck well.

      I’ve now played these four rounds with mixed results. As I read in other places, these clubs swing heavy and require some adjustment. I also had to get comfortable aligning them; initially tending to consistently hit them right. The heavier swing weight feel might have something to do with a right tendency. I ended up using the KBS logo on the top of the shaft to help with alignment. I’m more comfortable with the longer clubs. I’m still getting used to the look of the nine and pitching wedge. I can definitely hit these high and the distances are close to my previous Stealth HD’s. I have Big Bertha 3 and 5 hybrids and the Eleven 6 iron falls right in place with the Big Bertha 5. Overall, these aren’t game changing so far but I’ll have a much better idea after another five rounds and more range time. I might spend some time on a simulator to verify gapping.

    Nice review coach! I have been playing "Pinhawk" brand, single length all hybrids for 2 years now. Easily the best golf purchase I have ever made. I am consistent and my yardage is spot on. I honestly lowered my score by at least 10 strokes. Now if I can only get my putting in check! Anyone who is curious should at least give them a try. I went single length due to Bryson DeChambeau's logic regarding them and it has paid off.

    It definitely would be worth it to try them out on the course since the "proof is in the pudding" as it's said.
    Maybe even play two balls side by side; one with your regular irons and the other with the Eleven to see which one actually performs better under the same conditions. 😅 👍🏽

    Are these clubs all the same length, or do their lengths vary like standard clubs?

    I definitely want to see a round played with the eleven. Course play is usually different

    I'm 62 and hold a 7.6 handicap with Ping G710s. Please play a round with these 11s.

    They remind me of the Browning 440 irons from the 80s

    They are sometimes called “irons” and also “hybrids” when you are looking to buy them. I think you should compare them to other brands hybrids. Besides they look 100% hybrid.

    It’s not a hoax. They are good for any hc. The trick is to practice hitting them 50 metres only. Until you get the idea of “weight of the club” hitting. Keep your head down don’t try and hit them long. The timing will come and they launch as far as my old irons. It’s staggering.

    Your spin numbers were actually better with the hybrids. I would love to see you take em on the course, however, unlike Rick Shiels, use your normal wedges :D
