This is the most fun you can have with a simple running stitch. You can do this in any software! It requires some downsizing and some rotation to go along with your running stitch. Try different shapes and try different block combinations. Comment with a :) if you love zentangles!
So impressed. Not only learned how to make such a beautiful shape, I’ve also learnt what a zentangle is. I’d never heard such a term. Brilliant! Ain’t life great, you never stop learning.
I have been going back through your tutorials to try and catch up with those that I missed prior to getting my embroidery machine. I am captivated by this design, it is amazing. I am so suprised that I missed it, but now I know how to do zentangles the possibilities are endless. Thank you Carol and thank you Sue for such clear instructions for something that looks so complicated! I love it :).
Oh my goodness! I love this kind of work and I didn't know about the mirror right and below at the same time. I mirror a lot but not in that manner. Way to go Sue!
I ran across the Hatched Embroidery site the other day and noticed the software. I have watched two of the you tube videos and they are great. Since it is made by Wilcom, I thought I would check it out for price. How long has this been on the market? I have Bernina software and really enjoy working with it. I find your you tube videos can be applied to my software also. Guess it can be applied to any software as far as that goes. Anyway. your tutorials are very good and I plan to watch all of them. Keep up the good work and Thanks
I am not quite sure how to adjust my square to 3x3 like you did in the video I don't have that box on my toolbars I looked in the user guide it was refered to as measurements on the fly but it doesn't tell you how to get the boxes to come up in the toolbar area. Please help??

What a idea. Love it.
But Sue, how can we do it in the pe 10?
pretty much the same way...make the initial shape, copy, paste rotate and make it a tiny bit smaller. repeat. Lots.
