      Thank you! And trust me I’m no pro, there’s a whole stack of items I’ve messed up and practiced on to start getting decent results. Just gotta keep messing up and getting better 💪

    Are you better off with Melco or Tajima?

    • @tkstitch
      @tkstitch  21 день назад +1

      The tajima is better but they’re very different machines and wouldn’t be able to afford a tajima without first getting the Melco. And I still use the Melco just for more simple designs

      I use a Chinese car, since these really cost a lot, but with the tensions it drives me crazy :S now I’ve been digitizing for about a year. I thought the melco (it went out there summit) was better than the tajima, since it has the automatic voltage system. Happy Japan also seemed interesting, but the one with digital tensions costs 20k.

      @ for me the digital tension on the Melco is a little iffy to be honest but it could also be user error, I felt like I followed the “rules” for setting the automatic tension but never really seemed right. But don’t be put off by my experience if it looks good to you. We were also thinking of a happy Japan but the regular tension knob ones

    What was that tweezer thing that you cut the thread with at the end? And where do I purchase that?

      We’ve had these for a while I honestly don’t remember where they came from but yea they’re just regular pointy tweezers. Just saw they have similar ones on Amazon

    Where did you get the tape from?

    • @tkstitch
      @tkstitch  7 месяцев назад

      Its called something like "heat tape for sublimation" it's really used for holding down things you're going to heat press but I have a ton so it works for this too.
