😁Great video, really good! I'm new to embroidery. I bought a brother se1900 that I got last week and I just purchased Hatch a few days ago & just had a logo done for my brand, so I definitely need guidance lol 😂 I was searching for a Hatch beginners tutorials and found this video 📹 keep the channel - I subscribed and waiting for more - Anime is a plus and a good learning tool, thank you 👍🏾
I didn't know we can customize hatch designs manually. I thought the only way possible to make embroidery designs was only through auto digitize. Thank you so much!!!!!!
@@Rockinit69they have something called Flex Pay on their site where you could pay $99 a month until it’s paid off. I was out sick and didn’t pay for 3 months and notified them and they said to resume when I’m able to pay. Also I signed up for their free trial with 3 different email addresses during that time 😂 but it’s definitely worth it. I now own Hatch 2 but they upgraded it to Hatch 3 which there is an upgrade fee for me if I want it 😂
Great question! Hatch automatically puts .08 pull comp in the stitch settings just in case. However, I do a test stitch to see if it comes out good. I’ll increase it to .15 or.20 usually.
Good stuff dude! Literally on Hatch listening to you as I do my embroidery designs! One quick feedback regardless, maybe lower the music so I can hear you a little more clearly! Nonetheless, like & sub from me!
I appreciate that! I was wondering if it was too loud but I had no idea lol. Let me know if you need any help with your design or want another person to look at it. Thanks for the sub!
So what I want to do is put the outline right after the filled shaped in the sequence. Just wanna make sure. I’ve done so where I put all the outlines in the last part of the sequence because they are usually the same color but at the same time I have noticed the outline being imperfect 😂😭.
How do you compensate for the push in pull in your digitizing? I'm learning on hatch currently. But I thought that we had to overlap/kind of not connect a few lines due to the push and pull. I noticed you really don't overlap a whole lot. Do you ever have to go back in a design to fix it due to the push and pull? or do you only have to fix the numbers on the push and pull tab?
Yes! That is true! I do overlap them sometimes but it really depends on the first stitch. After my first test stitch, I will adjust the location of my nodes to the correct areas(overlapped usually). I’ve had instances where my designs came out perfect too. It varies each design. I always make commissions two times. Msg me in IG if you got more questions!
Heyyy, I wanted to ask if there is a problem if the respective embroidery areas are slightly covered? Does this break the machine? Because I can't do it so perfectly next to each other 😭
Hey I’m having trouble uploading my design since I’m not using adobe to create my logo… any tips ?? I’m basically having a hard time trying to save my files as one that hatch software accepts
Hey, just wondering, if you were to sell T-shirts/jumpers or anything related to this embroidery, would it breach copyright laws? Or is it ok to sell at a small scale Etsy shop?
Hey, I have a machine at home and was interested in Hatch but then was dissuaded when I saw a lot of people recommended Wilcom E4. However that’s close to 4500$ if not more and I didn’t purchase that. Am I really missing out on anything if I go with Hatch? What are your thoughts on the program ?
Fantastic question. It really depends on what you’re trying to make and how many. For me, I have a lot of intricate anime designs but I only do one design of those. So, digitzing on hatch was a good enough option for me (I started from ground up) due to the price of it. However, if you’re a commercial business, Wilcom is easier for those type because they need logos asap for manufacturing. I’m just as fast in my opinion because I have a year of experience with Hatch. I’ve never ran into any issues except the lacking Text Fonts on Hatch. So I just self digitze them and it works out. Also, the auto-digitize on hatch is OK but wilcom has a better one if you’re doing simpler designs.
I just paid off my hatch since it was 1000$ but it’s your choice tbh. If you’re beginner, hatch will be more than enough. If you’re in a startup business with more volume, wilcom will probably be better if you can afford it. Just know that the learning curve is much harder for Wilcom. I might purchase PEDesign 11 or Wilcom in the future if I grow more volume.
@@sakuraapparel4898 Gotcha, thanks for the help. I kinda just wanted something of myself and for friends not like at a huge volume business, but I still wanted something with good capabilities because I like the complex anime designs too. The designs that you have on your website though look fantastic so personally I don’t see a huge reason to pay 4x more unless of course you are mass producing stuff. Thanks again for the help though, I appreciate it :)
@@sakuraapparel4898 also, I just thought of it now, what are your favorite blanks to use as of right now? I would use a mix of gildan and Independent trading co depending on how nice I wanted the quality, but the independent is pretty expensive with shipping online but I’m not the biggest fan of the gildan blanks although their price points are pretty good. What do you think ?

i just started using Hatch to make patches for my booths at cons. I have a question cause i've looked everywhere and haven't been able to get a good answer. anytime i try to do something square, it seems to "drift" and basically make the square almost like a parallellogram. is there any way to stop this? i've tried everything on my machine from changing tension, thread, hooping, double backing but wondering if there is a way to fix this in Hatch.
Have you tried trouble shooting your machine? That doesn’t sound like a hatch issue. You can try to uninstall and reinstall hatch if you haven’t already and see if you had some weird issue on the settings. Otherwise, it could be a problem with your machine

How do you know how much to change pull compensation? Do you have a video for that!
Yeah! I can make a video about it but I generally leave it as it is. Hatch already has a automatic push pull comp that’s perfect
