Yes, he plays every instrument. Everything in the album is Wolfie. Unlike his father, he preferred the drums as his instrument as a kid through adulthood. He didn't play the bass 7ntil he was 15 and joined his dad's band. But his voice man, his voice and range are so good!
It is going to be interesting to see him in 5-10 years. This dude is multi-instrumental and can sing. He is cutting his own trail and I think that is awesome.
Michael Anthony didn't leave the band, he just wasn't asked back. That was a hard hit for him. Although Wolfie is Amazing and his band is Wonderful! Love it.
Wolf said in interview i think maybe Howard Stern that his Dad said if he did anything Van Halen or like his Dad that he would kick my ass- he wanted him to do his own thing!

Yes, they were originally Mammoth. And Doug doesn't like anything after the '90s, it is what it is. There are a few exceptions, like Queensryche's Silent Lucidity. Thanks for watching. 🤘
He is his own musition. If you were expecting Vanhalen 2.0 to bad . He is not trying to be his Dad an Uncle. Iam 65 been listening to them for many rears but wolf is super talented. Dont forget Eddie was a drumer first and his Uncle is one of the best.
I knew about Wolf, but this is the first time hearing any of his own music. He's got a great Rock voice, but from the start of this song I got Lenny Kravitz , "Are You Gonna Go My Way", vibes. I'd have to hear more to make an informed judgement though.
Michael Anthony did not leave VH, he was booted out!! Plus, WVH is a talented young fella, especially on the drums, his original instrument, but not feeling the modern production style on this track, which all the 'cool' alternative' rawk types have been subscribing too since the early Aughts, regrettably...And kudos to Douglas for really telling it like it is on the Celebrity Nepotism Weight Report. Now put down that OOZING deep fried Cannoli and grab yourselves another juicy Granny Smith!! Great video, though!!! Postscript: All vocal and instrumental sounds on that album were purely made by WVH.

Mikey's backing vocals made that band and his bass playing was solid, when it could be heard and/or not replaced by Eddie's four-string-futzing-about! Maybe Mikey should form a double bass duo with the supposedly musically-diminished Jason Newsted, who certainly was never used to his fullest potential by, allegedly, lol, Alcoholica!!

I adore Mikey. Wolfgang playing with his pop, most likely saved Edward from killing himself with drugs and alcohol.becouse it helped give Ed a reason to go on when he has had nothing to prove since '78, even though he went on to rule over an entire decade
