Way to go Sammy!I I’ve been waiting for the main man to come on. I got one of the first editions of Mammoth2 Saw Van Halen in 1991 and can’t wait to see Wolfie🤘🏼
He's incredible. He was writing this album for years. He put it aside somewhat to spend time/take care of his dad for his last couple of years. His dad was able to hear the whole thing before he died, and of course loved it. His very 1st tour was w/ Guns N Roses! He's been non-stop touring since & played both Taylor Hawkins memorial concerts, absolutely killing a couple Van Halen songs on guitar. He was the bassist for Van Halen since he was 16, has a musical family, to say the least, and he works his ass off. He's the real deal.
I love that he's made it clear he won't be tapping into his dads vast library for quite some time. He is his own person - never to be confused with his dad's legacy. I love this guy.
oh it gets even better with his newest release....."another celebration at the end of the world"....anyone that ever had a garage band can relate....it hilarious and it rocks

I lost my father last year, similar to Eddie he also had throat cancer so I gravitated to this song. Was at 3 of the shows in the UK with Alter Bridge and wasn’t sure how I’d be emotionally hearing this song live for the first time.
His live band is awesome too. Saw them touring with Halestorm & Alter Bridge in London.

Back in November 2023 we went to see Mammoth in Columbus Ohio and Wolfie saw a sign my sign made asking to let him rock out with them. And he invited him up on stage to close the show and it was EPIC!!!!
Wolfie knocks this one out of the park. This whole album is amazing. Wolfgang does ALL the tracks, vocals and production ..at his dads 5150 studio. He's talented AF!!
Can't wait to see him! He's touring with Alter Bridge now. He played base in Tremontis band briefly, too. He got the musical DNA for sure!!
Mammouth's drummer is none other than Garrett Whitlock he is Tremonti's former drummer and a beast behind the kit!!!!

Throwing the obvious aside, could he not be at least good at everything? His dad is the greatest and most influential rock guitar play in history and a awesome piano player, his uncle is in my opinion in the top five rock drummers from the glory days of music. Think about it, with all of that around you how could you not be good if not bad ass at music in general!
