this video is kind of the 2nd part of his video for Don't Back Down. He plays and sings all the recorded music himself. This vid introduces his touring band

Mammoth WVH are going out on tour with Slash and Myles here in UK in the Spring. Fun fact the janitor guitarist is Frank Sidoris he is also the guitarist for Slash and Myles and will be pulling double duty on the tour

    Great reaction guys!
Such a great song and Wolfgang really is his own man, and making name for himself.
His 1st album is phenomenal as is his follow up released this Summer.
He writes every song and plays every instrument and sings every part on both album recordings, but for making this and a few other videos, he thought it would be brilliant to include his touring band Friends in the making of them, and this is one of the hilarious results.
He tours extensively with Alter Bridge as support act, and he is currently touring in the States.

Saw Mammoth twice recently. One of the shows they opened up for Alterbridge. One of the best shows ever

Funny you mention Alter Bridge. Mammoth WVH toured with them the past year and Wolf was also the bassist for awhile in Tremonti's solo band for a few years in the mid 2010's. They are good friends. The drummer in Mammoth WVH was the drummer in Tremonti's solo band as well.

I really liked your reaction. As mentioned in other comments already, he plays everything, funny you mentioned AlterBridge because i got to see them open for them this summer at the Springfield Illinois state fair, it was a small crowd and there performance was top notch. Its one of the best concerts iv seen, and iv seen hundreds, theres not a bad song on either album.

When your dad is Eddie Ban Halen, and your mom is Valerie Bertinelli, you can afford anything! He is so very humble.

Look at the Mammoth WVH I'm allright, the video is part 3 of video (Don't back down, Another celebration to the end of the world and I'm allright), saw them live even if the show was short (stopped by a thunderstorm)

Yeah it's too bad you didn't do Mammoth in order. Starting with "Don't back down" then this one and (so far) the last of the trilogy is "I'm Alright" I'm Alright is from his 2nd album but he still is doing all the writing/instruments etc on both albums even if you see his touring band in these videos. So it's NOT the battle of the bands guy you hear here. It's Wolf. Of course live he's with the band. In an interview he says that as long as he's still having fun doing it alone he'll continue but in the future won't rule out adding the band to the officials.
Go back and check out Don't back down. You'll understand the story line better.
Then if you want to watch one of his (grab a tissue) other songs not included in this story line check out "Distance" It was the first song he put out there. He was nominated for a Grammy for that one (lost to Foo Fighters) but it's dedicated to Eddie.
My personal fav is "I'm Alright" Not only the lyrics but also to me it seems he just keeps getting better and better even though he was in Van Halen for several years.
Another thing he said in the interview is he's 90% self taught. Most comfortable on bass and drums. Oddly with EVH as your dad you would think guitar but as he put it "When EVH tries to teach you he teaches like EVH" Not so great for a beginner!
Also he said he would never BE a VH cover guy and wanted to do his own thing. The only exception he made was at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert he played a few VH songs with Taylor's son.
