Eddie's second musical gift to the world is his son.
Not even close......and he needs to shout his mouth about EVH guitars being sold and so forth....I think this will be the last of Wolfpussy ......in closing his "A' lister band mates cover up WG s mistakes and his so/so "C" list talent
@@suequick334 That was extremely hateful. You do realize this is just a band, right? And far as EVH guitars, you realize that EVH is his dad right?
Time will tell. He’s getting a pretty late start, but he’s sounding good.
I’m more worried about his health, makes this kind of hard to watch.
Sounds very subpar, not good at all.
Yes!
I like the fact that Wolfie has his own voice and style , great musician , great guitar tone , just good ol fashion rock to kick your ass
Very well said. So true
Great voice
👍 yes he’s definitely very talented!
Really why need for the third guitar player hiding in the back. Gaurantee Wolfie isn't doing much and is lowered in the mix guitar right when it starts after his noise
@@scottykingdavid one needs to go 🤔
This band rocks. WVH is talented. No auto tune. That’s straight up rock and roll with no gimmicks. Hell yes.
The album isn't overproduced and protooled either. It's the most organic rock album I've heard in forever
Yep - actual real music with no samples or auto tune. And nobody wrote the music or lyrics for him. What is going on here - how is this even allowed by today's "music" standards! Go Wolf!!
This is incredible! Do you remember the days when Auto tune was not even a thought? lol
WVH. First time I saw it. Thumbs up.
Reminds me of The Cult
I’m 60 years old and I’ve been to over 100 rock and roll shows. Wolfie has the goods. Not many left on my list of must sees... just added this band.
Just seen them in the MOTOR CITY.!....YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED.!
63 here and couldn’t agree more! Will see them twice in Texas. Can’t wait!
Cool Scott...you would damn well know....
Going to see them in Huntsville AL next month. Really looking forward to it!
We grew up with his dad and now can live with the son...Wolf can SING his arse off!
I believe what Gene Simmons' saying on EVH "There won't be another like him." But I also believe WVH will never put out his Dad's fire inside him. WVH keeps his father's legacy alive and he does it his own way.
Remember those so called fans that claimed Van Halen faked Wolfgang's vocals. Especially that first tour. So obvious that was NOT the case ! Rock on young Wolfgang !
Yep!!!!
Agreed, he sounds better than Roth did for these last couple of tours.
My first time seeing Wolf. The real deal. He took everything his dad and Uncle taught him and made it his own. He will do well in his life to honor them.
shit yeah!!!👍🤘
Ha! Ya know I almost forget who his uncle is lol. Deep currents in his bloodstream no doubt 🤘🏼
You know if Wolf and David Lee Roths son made there own band together just like the sons of Slipknot members did if just Wolf had a brother who could Play drums
No doubt there! He totally took it all in then to give it out today. Wow!
I'd rather see Mammoth WVH than G&R!!
This is why we went to HOB to see his solo performance! He rocked that house.
For sure. On our way from MI to TN to see Wolf right now. They will be at the Mill and Mine. Missed them nearby because hubby was in treatment for recurrent head and neck cancer.
Don't give a shit what his last name is. This dude is unbelievably talented. This album straight up rocks!
Definitely a excellent debut album 👍🏼
Finally sat down and listened to the whole album and you’re right there’s really no filler, every song has depth and is well constructed. Reminds of a early 2000s rock album can’t really pinpoint the exact style.
@@thomaswilliams2271 if it was still 2000, wolf would be ruling the charts. I hope rock can make it back to the top of the pop charts someday.
Man this is solid hard rock . Big drums , big guitars . Eddie van Halen has the biggest grin on his face I’m sure . Wolfgang is an incredibly talented musician .
No Doubt - Wolfie has an incredible talent, a Great Band, & a long future ahead of him - Eddie is Definitely smiling!
Edward was a monster musician Ed was killing it at 12 yrs old He was playing Clapton as if you were listening to Clapton live at freakin 12 yrs old man. And then he has the nerve to completely reinvent the way we interpret and play the godam instrument. Inagain what Wolfie learned just watching and being imersed in that setting. Now add on the fact that he is just a bad ass naturally even topping his pop in some areas certainly vocally for sure. Wolfie is going to save rock if he hasnt already just like his old man did in 77 and thank god.
Absolutely.
Wow
Ed has a grin on his face because he gets the joke. Too bad fat boy didn't have to earn it in the clubs. This band blows, rock is dead and this bs is why. What's sad is that killer players that don't have a rich famous daddy continue to struggle to eat. Fatty is getting enough though. No one will ever mistake this lame for Gary Moore. For real, who is his actual dad?🤣🤣🤣
I have a strong feeling people are now going to take to their seats before these guys come out. This band is legit. Props to GNR for giving them the opportunity.
More like-- props to them for giving GNR the opportunity to play at the same show
@@harrisonswift1416 DAMN RIGHT !!!
How about props for having the name Van Halen. ONLY reason he is on this tour let's face it
@@mikeharman797 I don’t mean any disrespect but why did you watch the video dude ? He is a Van Halen but has the legit talent. He will more than likely be the headliner one day. I personally think that GNR picked Mammoth WVH to boost their own attendance numbers .
@@gigitonsvajv WOLF ROCKS !!!
Wow, these are effing great songs.. very well written, formulated and just kick-ass from start to finish. I couldn't be happier for the guy. Best of luck to him.
Tutored by Eddie, Alex and Dave. Apprenticed with Van Halen. Naturally gifted multi instrumentalist. Can’t go wrong with that combo. It’s a blessing that Eddie got to witness his only child’s musical gifts.
I can't get over how well this dude sings live.
He has a GREAT voice.
He looks just like what if Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertoneli had a baby. 🤣🤣🤣. I think his music is some of the best straight ahead rock and roll I have heard in a while!
Yeah, he's cute for sure.
@@tonihagan6330 🤔 I wouldn't know. Lol
His weight is equivalent to Eddie and Valerie together. Damn Wolfgang is making good on the band’s name MAMMOTH 🦣.
@@flukyreview9128 --- he's gonna start writing songs about food --- it seems inevitable at this point
Hey man, let Wolf be Wolf! Love him for who he is! A totally cool ultimate kid by two beloved stars/legends. He has made his parents proud. He has his own sound yet it has that power and force that could only come from the son of Edward Van Halen! Love you Wolf!❤️🎸🎶
Wishing Wolf all the success in the world. He sure has the talent to back it up.
Most impressed by WVH's vocals. Wow!
After losing his Dad playing has to be therapeutic. Sounds great. Working his way out of a dark place. 🤘
He's really an incredible singer.
@Matthew Robinson I don't think so. You can either sing or you can't. It's a gift. Has MA ever sang lead?
I love how he made music as his own. His pops was awesome, dont get me wrong. But he is doing his thing . Awesome!!!!! Jam out Wolfgang!!!!
I can't get enough of this. The emotions that run through me listening to this awesome music and watching and how honorably he is carrying the torch is like nothing I've ever felt. Keep the fire burning WVH!
Yep. The real deal. It clearly runs in the family.
I knew he was a good bass player, and I have seen videos of him playing drums with Alter Bridge from time to time. I did not know he could sing like this he has a great voice.
He played every instrument, wrote, produced, & sings every song on the new album.
I like his guitar playing. His solo s are not long or extended. But, they're nicely put together.
Listen to the backing vocals when he played with Van Halen. They didnt sound like Mikey but they sounded fucking good.
Really surprised at how good Wolfgang's voice is.. wow!
Wolf (and the guys) are getting more fluid as each show goes by . I wish him(them) all the best .
That voice and confidence is monumental
Wow a week on the road has made a big difference. The footage I've seen for last weeks gigs were good this one is excellent. You can tell the Wolf and the bands confidences has increased with all the positive reviews. I can't wait for the opportunity to see Mammoth live in person.
I love it hes awesome just like his dad Eddie is looking down and so proud love you Wolfie
Wow wvh can sing. Really sing. I knew he was a good guitar and bass player but the vocals too
Look at those Strap ends... :) Logic would dictate playing everything from the family brand. I think he decided not to to give himself some separation. He should play what he wants. You can bet some day somewhere he will walkout with a Striped Wolfgang or 5150 and the crowd will lose it...
Thanks for pointing out the strap ends. That’s 2 guitar players I have seen using them. Big WOW on Wolfie’s singing and playing. What a voice !
Super talented, and is his own - he's not trying to mimic his dad.
His talent is nowhere near his Dad's
@@fredwerza3478 Thanks. I'm sure there's an EVH YT channel somewhere around here for you.
I truly love all the haters. Obviously never went to musical school or picked up a recorder a banjo a bass sat in front of a piano but sit in front of a computer and spill their hate of jealousy. If you're truly a fan of Eddie you would know he is proud and you should have not been so harsh and apologize for your existence. This kid is talented. I don't know what they're talking about. I just hear trolls under the bridge hating their own existence trapped in whatever crap life they were comfortable with
Talent runs in the Van Halen veins! This kid is awesome 😎
I was frantically trying to figure out who played Don’t Back Down when I first heard it on the radio. That doesn’t happen often. It made me feel like I did when I first heard “No One Knows” from Queens of the Stone Age. That rocked too. My thoughts hearing it were that those licks were probably the most fun to play and I’d love to be in a band like that.
I believe every red-blooded rock n roll American is genuinely proud of this young man…and cheering him on! It’s almost like he is America’s rock n roll son! Faith in music has been restored!!!!!
Don't forget he's part Dutch aswell.
Agreed,!
America's son??? You people are insane and.starved for entertainment. His 15 minutes are almost up.
@@paullukasik8698 Is that a threat? He is America's son, America's sweetheart. He's loved, and everyone wants him to succeed as he should. He is that good.
A lot of guitarist forget it's about the song not the solo.
Eddie understood that and it seems Wolf does too.
True that! 🎸
Guitar is not easy to play. If only those hating on WVH would pick up on before they open their mouth.
Wolfgang also did not forget to eat before going on stage. Wolfgang making good on the band’s name MAMMOTH 🦣.
he sings better than his father
How Many Say I
You’re on your way, Wolfie. They sound great!
They sound amazing live.
Awesome, carry on and do your own thing
Yes gigantic props to Slash Axl Duff and the boys for believing in Wolfie and his band. 😎🎸🎸🎸🎼🎶🎼🎵💙💜👍👍👍
Fenway Park was insane..awesome night from both! Wolfie rocked, GNR ty!
They knew Wolf would be a shot in the arm for the box office draw and ensure they'd fill venue's
I would say slash made this happen
The only kid on earth to have over 2 million muso uncles who have his back 🤘
My God, WVH is the real effing deal. Talent just runs thru his veins. He shreds on the guitar, plays bass like a madman, and his voice is absolutely amazing. It’s a shame that rock isn’t listened to by the younger generation anymore. If it was, Mammoth WVH would be packing stadiums. Instead the ones that are packing stadiums are DJs with a computer and a flash drive. Wolfie, you are the man! Keep rockin Bcuz a lot of us still love it
This guy is next level. I don't know who knows it but he is in a league of his own.
Believe me IVE KNOWN FOR A LONG TIME. 🎸🎸🎼🎵🎼🎵👍👍😎
Ditto❤️❤️
Well he had a great mentor.
Who is this? Popped on my feed. Guys fire
@@RoyRagnar Wolfgang van Halen the band's name is Mammouth WVH they released an album in Feb by the Name of Mammoth WVH. Went number 1 in 2 rock categories.
WG could easily have 10 EVH heads and cabs behind him, but he keeps it real and only uses what he needs. No posing here, he's the REAL DEAL.
Sounds great live and on record !!! Total PRO !!!
I kinda think he should still have a wall of EVH stacks behind him. It would look totally bad ass, and besides, it's still the family business. Free advertising!
Agreed, Wg and his band sound great. I like that he acts humble, as he should. However He could not easily have 10 EVH rigs behind him because it would likely be very disruptive to coordination of striking the band after their set. Also (Not always) but often times when you see a band with 6-8-10 stacks on the stage only 1 or 2 are actually live. Many of those stacks just have a red light functioning and sometimes the heads are without a chassis inside them and cabs are empty (no speakers) and roll out on one long stage cart. A freshman supporting act usually travels on the cheap. If the next album is any good they will need more big rigs and buses.
First band t-shirt I've bought in years... Hell yeah, Wolf!!
Great voice!
Fantastic...He plays just like he recorded it...PERFECT
He learned from the very best! Ed & Al were religious about their live concerts sounding just like you hear them on their record/cd/radio...or better! They had no gimmicks. They were professional musicians who could straight up play...Wolfgang is no different.
I hear a mix of Tremonti/AlterBridge in his stuff. He’s working hard for his own voice, having easily been a clone of his legendary papa. But i think we will see him evolve, and develop into a nice, modern take on his influences, as well as his family’s unique sound.
I was thinking I could hear some Myles Kennedy influence in the vocals too.
Plus tool and foo fighters
He was also in Tremonti for a while.
@@aysinerboz6115 So was the drummer ...
His vocals are on point, sound is great!!! Can't say the same for Axl though😕
12:35 Duff looking for a new vocalist.
I remember it was October 2007 , Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, Van Halen comes on the stage and here was this timid looking 16 yr old bass player. Now look at him! Fantastic!
I saw em a month later at nassau coliseum and I was blown away by his performance then. And I was only 9 years old lol
Do you really think Ed & Al would put 15 yr old Wolfgang in that position, representing their legendary band, if they didn't believe he was the real deal? Hell no! They knew he had the goods!
WOW!!! Wolfie killing it! What a talent. Amazing to see him belt out those crazy vocals while playing some really complex riffs and lines at the same time. He makes it look way too easy!
Wolfe Van Halen !!!!!!! Fuck Yes !!!! Your dad is so so proud of you ! Wolfe and mammoth are the real deal !!!! Insane talent and the real deal !!!! Wow can not wait to see them and support them !!! Freaking love this young man and his band ! There is just not the right words to describe this all. Just wow wow wow ! WVH / EVH !!!! 🤘🤘.
VH were like gods to me when I was a teenager. One of my all time favorites. Watching Wolf doing what he's doing here at this point in my life really evokes some serious emotion in me. RIP Ed -- your son is carrying the torch and doing it amazingly well.
Exactly. He raised a true man
I seent Duff walking around backstage checking things out. Heck yes.
So his mom's on tour with him?Way cool.im watching this and Valerie's on Tv..Way cool.Love the Van Halens
THE FUTURE OF ROCK N ROLL RIGHT HERE BABY!!!!! Go Wolf Go!!!!
I fucking love WVH & Mammoth!!!
I love how Wolfgang is just his own unique self with out trying to emulate his Dad. He has a great voice too.
Just amazing great performance by Wolfgang and his band
Props to him for knowing that no EVH = No Van Halen. He's got his own style, doing his own thing. Dad is proud.
Wow, I didn't know Wolf had such a good voice
This is freaking awesome. Could it be that real music is coming back? Actual singing? Actual Playing? These guys kick such unbelievable ass. And the songs are killer!
HOLY SH#T! That was great, what a great singer . Well done Wolfgang n Mammoth,
That drummer swings, great player and great band. Proud of you Wolf!
Garrett is a beast. Listen to his work with the band Tremonti on the first 4 records
@@mburelison89 oh shit, it's Garrett! I thought I recognized him. Awesome.
@@mburelison89 That entire band is so polished and comfortable. I need to research who these guys are (besides Garrett, who you told me is from Tremonti; he is great) and check out their other work. I am excited to see what else they do. I think Wolf had this album in the can for four years and intentionally sat on it to spend time w EVH. So being that he has 24x7 access to a studio, it makes you wonder what else he already has written and pretty produced and ready that this band could cut through like a knife!
WHAT. A. VOICE!!!!!!!!🤘🤘👍👍💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
This is the best debut album in years. Yes I said that. And he can pull it off live.
There’s nothing else around
I can see a bit of swagger and the band sounds tight 👍
Great voice - Respect
Great stuff.. Wicked drummer..
GWAN BIG MAN GIVE IT SOME.... GOOD VOICE... BET That gig blew a few codwebs away.. Great voice too...
Imagine growing up and playing with EVH. Then touring with VH. The level of instruction, knowledge, experience is incalculable. The next generation is off and running. Can’t wait to see what WVH does!
Hell yeah! Excited for it
Interesting interview he did recently where he basically said his dad wasn't a great teacher because (paraphrasing here) he couldn't stop being EVH and would just pick up the guitar and say 'play it like this' -- yeah that doesn't work :) :) Amazing debut album and sounding really tight on stage, great work M-WVH
@@pauljenkins7037 i’ll have to look for that. Yeah, I can see that might be the case. But still, what an experience. Like working out with Arnold or golfing with Tiger.

been listening to the album for past few days. out doing my 1.5 hours or roadwork in the evenings. sometimes it takes a bit to move beyond the 'expectations' and listen to the actual music. WVH/Mammoth is for real. think there will be some maturation in the voice yet to come... but right now, as is? absolutely outstanding. and it's his own creation/direction. stands up great all on it's own. can only imagine how proud of this guy his parents, family are.
Wolf is such a good singer!! This is very impressive, going to the show in Raleigh!!
Would rather see/hear this band over guns and roses ANYDAY!
Soaring vocals, anthemic choruses, hard driving guitars - pure American rock-n-roll.
It must be nice to have that Van Halen DNA. You know being great at every instrument that you pick up
No doubt.
I love this guy….AMAZING
AMAZING!
Huge ball's. I love this band. The energy is pappable and infectious. His father raised a true man of faith and hope anything is possible
go wolfman im a ole vh guy your dads age great to see you doin your own thing and love your music keep it goin your pops would be proud of ya
This is the best video! First time I've seen the swag and energy in Wolfie's performance in fan vids, I am loving it!!!!💕💕💕🥰🤟 That VOICE!!
I KNEW you were an awesome guitarist...Didn't know how good your voice is!! YOU GO BOY!
The ticket price 150 It's going towards Van Halen. I want Wolfy to be around as long as possible
Digging this vibe …. Id leave after I saw mammoth WVH … because GNR hurts my ears Axel can’t sing to save his life anymore.. well he never could… WOLF CAN SING 🎶..
Hopefully this brings back real music
WOW was i surprised by this.Really good solid rock n roll.Wolfgang has huge talent. His dad would be so proud of him
My mother, GOD rest her soul, who passed away 12 days ago, was a hard core country music fan.**I showed her videos of Wolf's artwork, and man she fell in love with him.**She wanted to see him in concert so much!!! I had planned on taking her to one of his concerts, but I guess GOD had his own plans.
Sorry for your loss
May your beloved Mother always and forever 💐🙏REST IN PEACE🙏💐
Great voice, would have liked to see the guitarist a little more.
The first one is reminiscent of Soundgarden's "Drawing Flies"...interestingly the same style guitar that Chris Cornell played. He's got pipes too. Nice melodic sense. I haven't heard the album.
Puts Sammy Hagers band to shame!!!!!!!
Great music and to be honest I would support him no matter what. His father was such a big part of my musical life growing up. Go Wolfy!!!
They sound just like Nickle Back
Excellent! Thanks so much for sharing this! It’s cool to see the singer from Clutch got a second gig playing 3rd guitar with Mammoth! 😆
Damn he does look like the singer from Clutch lol. The guy playing 3rd guitar is actually from Galveston, TX. He has a sick band To Who It May. Had the pleasure of opening up for them in a local show years ago with my old band.
Love the 2nd song Mammoth Wolfgang has vocals similar to Tommy Shaw !!! Phenomenal!!
I always would ask who will ever write music like EVH? Well here you go! WVH! Love this kid for carrying on the VH music legacy.
Awesome! Love this ! Can't wait to see you in Phoenix AZ at Phoenix Suns Arena on 08-30-2021 with Guns N Roses
I was 12 when VH 1 came out, and I was a fan for life, even getting to see Eddie in concert twice. It is SO AWESOME that Wolfie has his own style, and can sing like crazy. His style is so unlike his Dad that he's doing it on his own terms, and not being "like" Eddie. Rock on my dude!!! 🤘🤘🤘
Opening bands get NO RESPECT...hate how the techies are just walking around...glad that fans can tune that out
Damn I feel like I’ve been under a rock for not knowing this is what Wolfgang’s been up to, they’re Awesome!! He’s awesome! Geez he does it all, Bass and Guitar and dude has an Incredible voice.
I saw him in Las Vegas August 27th 2021 opening up for Guns and Roses 🌹! I was going to say that his performance was decent until I met afterwards. Now I hope and wish the best for him. Wo give him some love. He looks just like his mom!
