  • Simple Life in the Philippines 🇵🇭
In this episode in Bohol Philippines we make a Filipino dish called Sinigang! This video was filmed in the province of the Philippines, which is a much different Filipino experience than the city life of Manila or Cebu City, Philippines. Thank you for watching another video in the Philippines!

    Marry that girl already ❤❤❤

  • @brucerieley9192

I’ve been married to a Filipina for over 40 years now. Raised our kids and they have moved out. It’s just us too, and she still cooks for 12. She is physically incapable of cooking in small amounts.

  • @maxblank3709

She's a natural entertainer and the videos with her are my favorites!

  • @Jeft21102

A wife who is good at housework, cooks and takes care of her children is considered a treasure

Thank you Johnathan as crazy as it sounds your videos changed the entire course of my life. I was getting ready to move to Thailand when I came across your Philippines content and fell in love with the people. So I took a chance and decided to check out the Philippines first and I am now here happy as I have ever been living in the provence with my soon to be wife. If it wasn't for your content I would have never met the love of my life. We are heading to Panglao for a few days next month would love to say hello.

  • @raspberrycharlotte

She is super gorgeous. She's like legit pocahontas!!! 😍🤩🙌

  • @karllouismontealegre8730

You've got a true friend there..... Keep her... Im a Filipino... If a friend Filipino cooks you a lot of food it means a generous friend..its actually all for you his/or her visitor.... She's not cooking for the community, she's just cooking it all for you...

  • @ksair6399

I have to admit this channel has spiked my interest in visiting the Philippines! Everyone seems super friendly. That little white dog is so adorable!!

  • @MegaJamesno1

You gotta try asking her out mate. Hope you end up in a relationship with her. she is your other half 🙏🙂 yee would make a great couple.

  • @karllouismontealegre8730

I can tell she's genuine.... Just understand her shortcoming and take time on her and all her mistakes, no one is perfect.. But to see a friend pick veggies from her house means she doesn't want to waist any money... She's genuine...

I'll start by saying I love all your content but the Philippines stuff the best. Now I will tell you that your chemistry with Anne is infectious and there is absolutely no way to deny that because it brightens every video she is in (even the one at the food fest where you just bumped into her). Now, that being said you are a "travel channel" and enjoy making your content around exploring new places and meeting new people, so in that regard I respect you as a man for keeping it friendly with Anne and enjoying each others company when your in town a good friends instead of leading her on or taking advantage of a situation. Maybe one day you will be done with all the travel and look to settle down or start a family and hopefully either her or someone like her will e there.

  • @christinesaludares4724

You and Anne always have a great time hanging out. You're both comfortable with each other and don't take each other so seriously. I love your friendship.

  • @Sue72inspire

Anne did the right thing to leave the shell because it added to the great taste! Sometimes we keep the shell for other recipes. Please keep making videos together!

Filipino food is mostly named by describing how it is cooked. For example, sinigang means cooked in sour soup. So, you have sinigang na hipon/pasayan (shrimp in sour soup), sinigang na baboy (pork in sour soup), or sinigang na isda (fish). Adobo means cooked in vinegar, garlic and something salty like salt or soy sauce. Pinirito is fried (piniritong manok, piniritong isda). Nilaga is boiled (nilagang baka, nilagang baboy). Ginataan is cooked in coconut milk (Ginataang manok, ginataang gulay). Tinola is anything cooked in ginger soup (tinolang manok, tinolang isda). Hope this helps.

  • @IcePhoenix34

You and Ann have some great genuine chemistry together. Nothing feels forced or fake. I esp love the friendly banter. She knows some comebacks to ur punches! 😁

  • @norfabros5690

  • @revygargar

Your tandem with the cute little girl makes our day ❤ I’m jealous of this simple life, the view and way of living in provinces are really healing ❤

  • @rickjohnson6559
