I'm 82, retired, and living alone in a small city in the desert southwest of Arizona, USA.
I "discovered" the P.I. (and Thailand and the SE Asian countries) too late in my life. (Just one or two years ago.)
Had I discovered the P.I. at your age, I'd probably be living there now.
Earlier, in California, I was married for about a dozen years; but that failed. Her wishes.
That and subsequent GFs left me sour on marriage.
However, it's possible that some of the Filipinas would be a good partner in a marriage. I can't say; don't know.
One thing I've realized about male/female relationships (marriage, etc.) is that perfection does not occur, apparently ever.
I think the trick in life is the ability to forgive others for their own idiosyncrasies. After all, we all have them.
In other words, everyone will have at least one or two traits or characteristics that we wish they did not have.
Of course, the same has to be said about each of us.
So, accepting a few oddities or objectionable traits seems to be the possible answer.

Your adding the wigs, especially the green one, made for a kooky atmosphere making a fun video for both Filipino humor and Western humor.
You have a good balance of easy humor and fun.
The small plush bear gift for Aya was perfect as well.
This entire video showcased your personality in a very subtle way without being obtrusive. Nicely done.
You also gave (and encouraged) Ann many opportunities to blossom to display her personality. Again, nicely done.

Few days ago I was complaining that our kitchen was too small. Meanwhile, Anne can make a whole meal with just 2 small round wooden tables, 1 pan & a pot. Your province vlogs really make me realize how grateful I should be.

Me, i don't like sugar and onions in my Adobo. (I think classic Adobo doesn't really have sugar.) I just want mine salty, vinegary and garlicky. But there's another pork dish that I cook that is a bit similar to Adobo in which i use sugar. But it doesn't have vinegar. Just soy sauce, garlic and bayleaf. And then you add (peeled) hard boiled eggs when the pork is almost cooked and let the eggs absorb the flavors. Yum!
Oooo I didn’t realize that wasn’t in it traditionally! I saw them add brown sugar to the Adobo in my Boodle fight video in Siquijor and assumed that was typical. And yes, Anne and Aya are always a great addition to the videos! Thanks for watching Moondust!

Jonathen, I'm reposting this comment from one of your videos where you just returned to the Philippines where you discussed negativity.
Jonathan, over the past year, I have come back and watched this video four (4) or five (5) times and each time I view it, I'm further convinced that exactly what you described in this video is the root source of much of the problems, hate and distrust among people the world over. Having said that, sadly, I have no workable solution for changing the world to make it a better place. At 75, I have more time behind me than I have in front of me and with little hope of ever living to see the world you, I and millions of others would love to see, I can only offer this one bit of advice. Always let others see the good in you because while you may never live to know that you had a positive impact on the life of one or more others who may in turn do the same to others that neither you or I will never have contact and maybe, JUST MAYBE, one day, that world we imagined will exist. DON'T STOP. KEEP GOING.............except when Ann says she's going to cook LOL.

My Filipina wife and I will be in Cebu/Bohol from Austin Tx next month! We'd BOTH be happy to get a tour from Anne. We're looking for good street food and she doesn't know bohol well. We're looking at land to buy probably in Cebu but we both wanna hit Bohol for some sightseeing/fun.
