Thanks for this breakdown. One of the few channels that breaks down the information like this. The others just give general info and not specifics. Keep it up. Helps a lot
lol thanks Loki! I thought it was more commonly known than it is, so I was pleasantly surprised when the video started taking off. I'm definitely glad it’s helping out some fellow travelers!
Yeah, Photonix Core is an excellent choice for sure! The only ship weapon I use is the Infraknife, so I have plenty of space for anything else. I think the community has collectively agreed that its DPS is hard to beat, lol... and the sputtering trail is a great one and does fit the boundary aesthetic very well; I might switch it up and run that for a while! ✌️🏻
@sideofgamingx yeah infra knife is definitely the best. It gets up over 80k with right slot placement. For boundary I wanted to rp a bit and make use of the tube accent so I got rockets and the cyclone all supued up with infra as back if it gets to hairy.
@@lethalsmoke it's very easy and mostly lame. If I'm doing something else I got no time for a space battle I've done a thousand times . I'm rp this shit to add some difficulty to an otherwise boring ass fight.Oh but I'm not g enough 😆 know who you're taking too bruh before chirping
1000 hours, what a noob 🤣 Its a joke, but with some truth, yet no offence is intended NMS is one of those games where youll still learn new stuff after 15000 hours, im still learning the odd new thing and im way past 15k - like i only just learned you can press H to bring up the Mission tooltips that cycle (bottom right of screen) on their own, and keep pressing it to cycle through them, learned this only a month or so back
For Aesthetics, Use a Save Editor, Goatfungus, NomNom or others Go to your ships tech, install as many Trails as you want, of all the SAME TYPE So if your preference is the TEMPORAL, just place in 7 of those, or 7 STEALTH, or whichever your aesthetic is Most Save Editors work on Consoles now i believe, but im a PC player and have never even owned a console, so i cannot honestly say, but i am told that they do Always make BACKUP of save, use at own risk - but i have used SEs this way for years and never had problems
Literal God-tier comment! Of all the times I have used a save editor to mod stuff, I can honestly say I have NEVER actually thought to do that 🤣... I try not to show modded NMS stuff since it is on many different platforms now. I try to keep it fair because, on PS4, I know you need Save Wizard, which I believe costs around 49.99, so I don't want to show one thing with me being on PC and those who watch it not have access to it because of a paywall simple due to platform differences, but I'm definitely going to swap my trails tomorrow. So, thanks for those suggestions and for checking out the video!
@@sideofgamingx Its pretty much all i use SE's for Nothing game-breaky-cheaty, just stuff like this that i feel HG should allow anyway I have also used it to "buy" myself extra SC slots, i charge myself 4 billion for them, by resetting my money to 0 when it caps, but adding a SC slot somewhere Stuff like that, i never just give myself stuff or things Glad to have helped, happy gaming
Most people do go with Polo for the Maneuverability, I just personally go boost since I prefer planet hopping lol .. I am really enjoying the Boundary Herald, I think its one of the best expedition ships HG has given us next to the Starborn Runner.
Same here. I focus on maneuverability without needing super charged slots. With the Starbourne Runner I use 2x supercharged slots for weapons, one for propulsion, and one for shields.
@@titaniumO2 I need to look at my SR and see my current maneuverability. I generally don't use polo in the middle because I have some pretty good S and X-Class mods. I would spend hours farming X-Class mods over and over until I rolled the best stats that I could 🤣
Yes, You can place all trails and Figurines on a ship and get all the benefits of them. If you go to the time stamp 3:42 you will see the layout that I use for the adjacency bonus on my ships in game, now if YOU want more maneuverability (5:33) then put the Polo figurine in the middle where I have the Tentacle Figurine. Atlas, Null, Apollo, and Nada do not have adjacency bonuses, so they can be placed anywhere that you have free space on your ship. ✌✌
This is the first time I’ve heard of this happening, so I doubt I’ll be of much help. Hopefully, some others can comment and be more so than myself, but they’ll be in the Utilities tab when you go to install the technology on your ship. If they’re not showing up there at all, try returning to the anomaly and speak to the vendor, and if they say “Already Owned” but aren’t greyed out, then you need to claim them. I hope this helps. If none of this works and you play on PC, I would suggest getting a save editor like Goatfungus. If you play on any other platform, definitely submit a ticket to Hello Games about the error so they can rectify it.
I'll suggest that you go back into the Quicksilver vendor and click on each trail that you bought. Each one should appear in white. They will be installed then go into your ship tech slots to install them individually.

I'm glad to hear you found it helpful, I really appreciate it! The goal is to give information I wish I knew when I first started out in the game. ✌️
This helps give me the stats I need, to better place adjacency bonuses. Thanks.
I'm always happy to hear when my videos help people out! Thanks for watching! ✌🏻
Great way to show information, editing helps highlight the information.
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it and found it informative!
I had no idea that those things effected specs! LOL I'm going to sub just for that alone!

Photonix core is a nice piece to add also. You definitely have to sacrifice the weapons you dont want

Nice one. I had a better experience when placing the trails around polo and artemis - in seen speed. How do you like the new ship?

Base looks nice and compact! Any chance of a base view and the items you used?
Thanks! I try to keep my bases pretty simple. I can definitely do a base tour and a breakdown for the next video. Stay tuned!
I like the sputtering on my boundary....
does this same kinda thing work for jet pack boosters and freighter trail colors?
Sadly they do not since those are done in a cosmetic menu instead of being installed in the technology slots like on the ships.
I'm at 750h in and did not know these things. Do they all stack, can I just install every figurine and every trail on a ship?

Do jetpack trails have hidden stats too?
Sadly, the jetpack trails are purely cosmetic. Thanks for checking out the video!✌🏻
@@sideofgamingx And thank you for making it. I had no idea the bobbleheads and Thruster trails gave bonuses.
You could read audiobooks
That would actually be pretty fun lol, I appreciate it! ✌🏻
Bought all the trails and can't install them, they just dont show up in the tech part of the ship. Wasted all my QS 😭😭😭

Nice vid appreciate not making it into a 20 minute video explaining nothing until the end
lol any time! appreciate you checking out the video ✌
One can only wonder why the "pride" trail is the most prominent one...
