Do jetpack trails have hidden stats too?
Sadly, the jetpack trails are purely cosmetic. Thanks for checking out the video!✌🏻
@@sideofgamingx And thank you for making it. I had no idea the bobbleheads and Thruster trails gave bonuses.
This helps give me the stats I need, to better place adjacency bonuses. Thanks.
I'm always happy to hear when my videos help people out! Thanks for watching! ✌🏻
This is absolutely pathetic. So we on consoles have been punished for what???? Because Shawn has a God complex???? F him, and f hello games.
I completely get that this is frustrating, and I do wish consoles players had native access to the ship too-it would have felt more community focused for everyone to have the same experience. That said, thankfully console players can still obtain it through the website in the pinned comment or by having a friend/someone in the community trade it you, so there are ways to get it. Thanks for checking out the video! ✌️
The Starborn Runner and Starborn Phoenix are both great. The runner feels more sparkly than the phoenix, and I like a brighter ship. That being said I only kept the runner in my collection. Again, nothing wrong with the phoenix, it just isn't for me.
Thank you for the update. I actually struggled to get the DLC to add to my account. I'm using Steam on a Windows 11 laptop, so I don't what I did wrong. I got it right in the end.
Thank you for the continued support and engagement! I'm glad you got it sorted out in the end!
The old ship gifting trick now works again in multiplayer if you want to give it to a friend
That's great the hear, I didn't know that was working again! Thanks for the update✌️
🌟 How to Get the Starborn Phoenix Ship on Console! 🌟 Hey Travelers! If you’re playing No Man’s Sky on console and want to snag the exclusive Starborn Phoenix ship, you can use nomansapp.com/ What to Do: 1️⃣ Visit the site and sign in with your platform. 2️⃣ Use the Seed Generator to find the Starborn Phoenix seed. 3️⃣ Follow the instructions to modify your save file and add the ship to your fleet! Quick Tip: Backup your save before making changes to ensure everything works smoothly. Enjoy flying this amazing ship across the galaxies! Let me know in the comments if you’re adding the Phoenix to your fleet! 🚀
Does not work on switch.
Hey, sorry to hear it didn't work for you. Below I wrote small guide to help you out, hopefully it will be of some assistance. There is also a guide on their website if you are more of visual person. If you cant get the website to work, ship gifting in multiplayer is working again so a friend or someone in the community can trade it to you! Add the Bot as a Friend: Go to the network friends list in the game. Find and add the bot using the friend code provided. Enable Multiplayer Settings: Ensure multiplayer and crossplay are enabled. Allow anyone to join your game. Restart the game after setting this up. Prepare in the Space Anomaly: Head to the Space Anomaly. On nomansapp.com, ensure all checkboxes are checked, and navigate to the Ship Delivery Service in the menu. Select the Ship: Scroll to the Starborn Phoenix (third row, first column). Choose your delivery method: NPC Delivery: Buy the ship outright without exchanging. Skin Over Active Ship: Keep your current ship's tech intact. Ship Exchange: Exchange your current ship for the Starborn Phoenix. (Personally I would use this choice) Start the Delivery Process: Once your delivery method is selected and the game is ready, hit Start. Wait for the service bot to join your game. Compare and Finalize: When prompted, click Compare to view the new ship. Complete the exchange or purchase. Locate Your New Ship: If your current ship disappears, your new Starborn Phoenix will appear on a different landing pad in the Anomaly.
So what you're saying is you don't want the chromatic because it's rainbow and therefore be perceived as lgbtq
So, I think there’s a bit of an assumption here. My comment about the chromatic trail was purely informative about ship aesthetics and how certain trails become dominant based on the trails installed in your inventory-not about any associations or perceptions. Everyone has their own preferences-I personally love the temporal trail; it fits my style and it’s blue! Like I said in the video, if you want the free stats, rock all of them; if aesthetics matter, choose what fits your style best. Let’s try not to make assumptions and keep things focused on the topic of the video. Thanks for watching!
You could read audiobooks
That would actually be pretty fun lol, I appreciate it! ✌🏻
Base looks nice and compact! Any chance of a base view and the items you used?
Thanks! I try to keep my bases pretty simple. I can definitely do a base tour and a breakdown for the next video. Stay tuned!
does this same kinda thing work for jet pack boosters and freighter trail colors?
Sadly they do not since those are done in a cosmetic menu instead of being installed in the technology slots like on the ships.
Thank you for the help Sir
Any time! Glad you found it helpful 👍🏻
I had no idea that those things effected specs! LOL I'm going to sub just for that alone!
lol thanks Loki! I thought it was more commonly known than it is, so I was pleasantly surprised when the video started taking off. I'm definitely glad it’s helping out some fellow travelers!
Photonix core is a nice piece to add also. You definitely have to sacrifice the weapons you dont want
Yeah, Photonix Core is an excellent choice for sure! The only ship weapon I use is the Infraknife, so I have plenty of space for anything else. I think the community has collectively agreed that its DPS is hard to beat, lol... and the sputtering trail is a great one and does fit the boundary aesthetic very well; I might switch it up and run that for a while! ✌️🏻
@sideofgamingx yeah infra knife is definitely the best. It gets up over 80k with right slot placement. For boundary I wanted to rp a bit and make use of the tube accent so I got rockets and the cyclone all supued up with infra as back if it gets to hairy.
@@steezwts9093 combat is pretty easy in NMS. True G's put maneuverability in super charged spots for speed.
@@lethalsmoke it's very easy and mostly lame. If I'm doing something else I got no time for a space battle I've done a thousand times . I'm rp this shit to add some difficulty to an otherwise boring ass fight.Oh but I'm not g enough 😆 know who you're taking too bruh before chirping
I like the sputtering on my boundary....
Even a lot of old heads don't completely understand the bobbles
Thanks for the video! With the right setup, you can achieve high speeds ruclips.net/video/g062kOLgQYQ/видео.html
One can only wonder why the "pride" trail is the most prominent one...
Bought all the trails and can't install them, they just dont show up in the tech part of the ship. Wasted all my QS 😭😭😭
This is the first time I’ve heard of this happening, so I doubt I’ll be of much help. Hopefully, some others can comment and be more so than myself, but they’ll be in the Utilities tab when you go to install the technology on your ship. If they’re not showing up there at all, try returning to the anomaly and speak to the vendor, and if they say “Already Owned” but aren’t greyed out, then you need to claim them. I hope this helps. If none of this works and you play on PC, I would suggest getting a save editor like Goatfungus. If you play on any other platform, definitely submit a ticket to Hello Games about the error so they can rectify it.
I'll suggest that you go back into the Quicksilver vendor and click on each trail that you bought. Each one should appear in white. They will be installed then go into your ship tech slots to install them individually.
@reb5824 thanks I will try that
They explained how to do this from the start... only issue was it was in Korvax 😂 {{...Ludo can oul simple text formatting gep color petu text liz add icons...}} You reach into the terminal and detect whisps of colored text and icons adorning all your instruments. You jump back in amazement. The lifeform seems confused by your shock and surprise.
Great info, Thanks!
I’m glad you like the video! ✌
For Aesthetics, Use a Save Editor, Goatfungus, NomNom or others Go to your ships tech, install as many Trails as you want, of all the SAME TYPE So if your preference is the TEMPORAL, just place in 7 of those, or 7 STEALTH, or whichever your aesthetic is Most Save Editors work on Consoles now i believe, but im a PC player and have never even owned a console, so i cannot honestly say, but i am told that they do Always make BACKUP of save, use at own risk - but i have used SEs this way for years and never had problems
Literal God-tier comment! Of all the times I have used a save editor to mod stuff, I can honestly say I have NEVER actually thought to do that 🤣... I try not to show modded NMS stuff since it is on many different platforms now. I try to keep it fair because, on PS4, I know you need Save Wizard, which I believe costs around 49.99, so I don't want to show one thing with me being on PC and those who watch it not have access to it because of a paywall simple due to platform differences, but I'm definitely going to swap my trails tomorrow. So, thanks for those suggestions and for checking out the video!
@@sideofgamingx Its pretty much all i use SE's for Nothing game-breaky-cheaty, just stuff like this that i feel HG should allow anyway I have also used it to "buy" myself extra SC slots, i charge myself 4 billion for them, by resetting my money to 0 when it caps, but adding a SC slot somewhere Stuff like that, i never just give myself stuff or things Glad to have helped, happy gaming
Nope. Got over 1000 hours on the game and I was clueless. Well worth the sub
1000 hours, what a noob 🤣 Its a joke, but with some truth, yet no offence is intended NMS is one of those games where youll still learn new stuff after 15000 hours, im still learning the odd new thing and im way past 15k - like i only just learned you can press H to bring up the Mission tooltips that cycle (bottom right of screen) on their own, and keep pressing it to cycle through them, learned this only a month or so back
Much appreciated! I'm glad to hear you found the video helpful ✌️🏻
Great way to show information, editing helps highlight the information.
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it and found it informative!
Can u do a tutorial video for this and the codes for color and organization? I'm on ps5
Hey, so this video as a whole is the tutorial. Since all this is text formatting, it will function the same regardless of the system you play on. So, with you being on PS5, if you follow the steps in the video and the formatting steps shown starting at 2:22, you should be good to go! Now, as far as the Organization goes, all I do to organize my inventory is this: after color coding my boxes, anything red goes in the red box, anything blue goes in the blue box, anything green goes in the green box, and so on. I hope this helps you out. Thanks for checking out the video! ✌
I'm at 750h in and did not know these things. Do they all stack, can I just install every figurine and every trail on a ship?
Yes, You can place all trails and Figurines on a ship and get all the benefits of them. If you go to the time stamp 3:42 you will see the layout that I use for the adjacency bonus on my ships in game, now if YOU want more maneuverability (5:33) then put the Polo figurine in the middle where I have the Tentacle Figurine. Atlas, Null, Apollo, and Nada do not have adjacency bonuses, so they can be placed anywhere that you have free space on your ship. ✌✌
Ahh - is that your favorite game? Never seen before.
I've been a fan of the Monster Hunter franchise for years, especially Monster Hunter World. I did enjoy the MH: Wilds Beta, but there is some major performance issues that I hope they workout before the game releases next year.
Nice vid appreciate not making it into a 20 minute video explaining nothing until the end
lol any time! appreciate you checking out the video ✌
Thanks for this breakdown. One of the few channels that breaks down the information like this. The others just give general info and not specifics. Keep it up. Helps a lot
I'm glad to hear you found it helpful, I really appreciate it! The goal is to give information I wish I knew when I first started out in the game. ✌️
Nice one. I had a better experience when placing the trails around polo and artemis - in seen speed. How do you like the new ship?
Most people do go with Polo for the Maneuverability, I just personally go boost since I prefer planet hopping lol .. I am really enjoying the Boundary Herald, I think its one of the best expedition ships HG has given us next to the Starborn Runner.
Same here. I focus on maneuverability without needing super charged slots. With the Starbourne Runner I use 2x supercharged slots for weapons, one for propulsion, and one for shields.
@@titaniumO2 I need to look at my SR and see my current maneuverability. I generally don't use polo in the middle because I have some pretty good S and X-Class mods. I would spend hours farming X-Class mods over and over until I rolled the best stats that I could 🤣
Bro I've been losing tainted metal stacks because of this and I couldn't figure out why. Thanks for the update.
Hey man, I'm glad I could help out! I know this has been annoying for many people out there, and don't be surprised if you log in one day and tainted metal is sitting in your refiner cause that's been known to happen after it vanished lol. Thanks for checking out the video! ✌️
The game looks promising. I don't think my laptop can run the beta; I'm not sure then.
Honestly, it's been a blast to play, but the performance issues surrounding Wilds are concerning. With a 5900X and a 4080S, unless I use Frame Gen, I am sitting right at 60, which is just insane to me. I hope they take all the data they get from this beta test and take the next few months to make changes and seriously optimize the game before launch.
2 Questions for everyone: What do yall think about the beta? Have you experience any major performance issues?
What do y'all think of LBG so far in Wilds?
this is interesting. thankyou 🙏
Thank you for checking out the video! ✌️
i run tainted metal in these and I can log off, come back the next day and it is still there, nanites too. Xbox One player. When things vanish I found I can wait, conme back later and find everything back in the refiners ..
Since the curse update though : a new bug started where a few refiners are pre-filled with one radom and one nitrogen gas upon loading in the game. They show in there as grey'd out items, cannot be removed and makes these refiners unusable. I started cross fingers harder when loading the game and it seems to solve the issue 😂
Agreed, nms is NOT a smooth ride. Full of bugs and crashes here still.... I subacribed! 🤘
years of playing NMS i Did not no this thank you
I got you ✌🏻
Very cool! I dig it
Glad you enjoyed it! It definitely makes a difference.
@sideofgamingx I've used colors on bases before, but didn't think about it for sorting cargo. Great tip!
This was a nice tip! I came up with something similar to @mecongberlin where I started with numbers, then a quick description. The color codes and symbols I just gotta try now! THANKS! I'd like a more thorough walk-through of your freighter interior. From what I saw it looks like a very cool design in there. For the crew area, were you actually able to modify it out there including the ship captain's station or was that just some fancy background design?
wow. i preordered the game on playstation before it came out and I bought it on PC when it got "fixed" and I'm finding this out now :D
lol gotta love the little hidden things that have the biggest impact
Glad to have you back! Thank you for the overview.
Hey, thank you so much, I’m super glad to be back! I maybe turned my PC 2-3 times the whole time we were sick lol, just got the new ship today so I’m going to have a video of it coming out this week and a couple other things pretty soon. Also, I’m super exited for the Monster Hunter Wilds Steam open beta next weekend.
So to fly my ship into another freigher does it have to glow blue like that for it to fly in the freighter¿
No, the blue glow you see is just an aesthetic choice made by the developers.
I've been playing this game for a while and have no clue why he has a freighter. Is this needed?? I've never got one.
Hey! Freighters aren’t absolutely necessary, but they can be super helpful, especially as you progress in the game. 1. They serve as mobile bases, which gives you a massive boost in freedom since you can warp and have your base with you no matter where you go, and your storage containers, refiners, nutrient processors, etc., are onboard and always readily available. 2. While it's not much, once you have a freighter, you can start recruiting frigates and sending them on missions. These missions can bring back resources, money, and special items while you’re off doing other things. 3. As I mentioned above with a freighter, you can warp between star systems, which gives you a lot of flexibility for exploration , especially if you want to bounce between different areas as an S Class Freighter can (I believe) get close to 6000LY fully kitted depending on supgercharged slots. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong below) I recommend grabbing one when you get the chance, but ultimately, if your current play style works for you, it's all about what makes your experience fun!
@@sideofgamingx thank you. Very good information.
Does anyone know if this works on Switch?
I’ve never played on Switch, but if I were to guess, I would say that it should work because text formatting should function the same regardless of the platform. Definitely get back to us and let us know if it does by editing your comment! ✌🏻
@@sideofgamingx i got home and tried it out and it does work on switch as well
@@sideofgamingx it does work on switch but someting to keep in mind is switch has 32 character limit
I believe the 32 character limit is a game limitation not anything to do with the switch. I have ran into character limitations on PC as well, so you just have to play around with color and icon combinations that get within the range. thanks for letting me know!
You've gotta be kidding... they baked old school text formatting into the game and didn't mention it anywhere.... What an insane game this is. I have 20 something days on my main save. Now I have to go through it all!
Lol, oh yeah man, it brought me back as well. It’s definitely made organization a lot simpler, thanks for checking out the video.
This is awesome content, I'll have to revisit this to take more notes. Thanks for the short, to the point, and really useful video. I'm gonna have to play around with my storage and ship names now! Inventory management has been such a brutal slog, especially when I come back from letting the game rest for a few months and don't remember how things were assigned.
Thanks; I appreciate it and am glad you found the content helpful! I agree about inventory management; it has been an area the game has lacked for a long time now. Being able to sort all the material by color has been game-changing for me, especially when it comes to crafting. It doesn't matter how long I'm away; when I return, everything is right where I left it.
Ooh, nice tip! I only applied color codes to ships, carrier, frigates and weapons until now, never thought of the storage labels. Thanks, mate!
Anytime! Doing it to storage really helps clean things up and makes it manageable if you are really into crafting, since that's one area I personally feel the game has always lacked.
For some reason this doesn't work for me :( I'm on PC and in NMS, whenever I type a less than symbol <, it always outputs as a greater than >. So for the example you have at 3:10, even though I type it correctly, it looks like >EXPED>>IMG>INVCARGO>> INCOMING. I tried on my spouse's PC and it does the same thing. We have different keyboards so I know it's not my keyboard (not to mention < works fine on any other game/software). Any ideas why this is happening? I haven't been able to find anything about this in a general internet search.
Never knew this after years of playing! Has Hello Games ever mentioned this?
Honestly, I don't think Hello Games has ever mentioned anything about it since all this is simple text formatting. Often, things like this are found by an individual and then shared amongst the community. Thanks so much for checking out the video; I'm glad it helped you out!
Wow this looks absolutely adorable! I'll get one today for sure. Thanks for sharing dude
Anytime dude! That duck butt be juicy! 🤣
