Bit of misinformation y'all. At 01:38 that's actually your Steam ID if on Steam or Epic ID if playing there. Sorry if this confused anybody! Apparently it confused me as well. Thanks to @Erknar for pointing this out.
I may have spent more time using SCIM than actually playing the game. My favorite tool is the "spawn around" selected object. A circle, a tower, a precisely curved road that ascends a slope. Also nice for deleting loot boxes buried under my conveyor spaghetti.
I've been trying to do as much as I can in game but I feel like "after all, why shouldn't I?" a lot more now that I know what this tool can do. Especially for really repetitive stuff like the belt upgrading. The circle spawner is something I'll have to try since I've been doing all of those by hand so far.
What you have shown when you said "... your worlds unique numerical identifier ..." is actually your Steam Account ID. If you're playing on EPIC, your EPIC ID is longer and represented in hexadecimal, so it will show not only numbers from 0 to 9, but also letters from A to F.

Would this tool allow me to change settings of all of my lamp posts? I just realized that they can be set to only turn on at night and really don't want to go through the 100 or so I've already placed to change it...
I'm unable to find a way to do that but if they are on the same power grid, you can get a light control box that acts as a "parent" to all of the lightposts attached out of one end and controls their settings all at once.
Hey all, the Scim Website is very Slow loading at me.. is There Any possible way to make it faster loading?? It spends few minutes to load the map After zooming for example. There stay white areas without Terrain what it makes so uncomfortable to use this wonderful Tool
if you are trying to use the SCIM while Satisfactory is running in the background and your PC is not very high on RAM, you may expect SCIM to lag significantly. If you feel that your specs are good enough, then I would suggest changing the browser, because “minutes” to zoom is definitely not tolerable
@@YevgeniyGritsan thank you.. i am not sure about the performance of my computer.. i have a 5950x, 64gb 3600mhz ddr4 ram, 4090 by Gainward, everything on a ssd .. the cpu is old.. but this should be ok.. i use chrome or edge, but maybe i should install firefox and try it then again..
I have similar specs and also experience some lagginess, but nowhere near minutes to zoom out. I do use Opera GX though and that lets me control my browser's resource usage. It performs much better compared to at least chrome for example. That's what I used to use. I do hope you get it figured out! It may also just be that Satisfactory and SCIM are both so resource heavy that you need to close out of one to properly use the other. Just a hunch, but there is also a setting next to "player information" to hide fog of war. I'm not sure if that's what you mean by areas remaining covered. If not then disregard!
SCIM is ok. I use it primarily for the stats tab and locating sloops, though it has many other features. It has sadly become an ad riddled nightmare though, and I avoid it unless necessary
I suppose it's a testament to its usefulness that I've never been too bothered by ads 😅 I totally understand not wanting to see ads but I can ignore them to support the guy who makes all this possible.
dude please get an adblocker, its always super obnoxious seeing them anywhere, also makes the videos cleaner and you dont accidentally advertise anything that you dont want to...

Plenty of resources on it and stuff people have done in their own saves, but open to new code. Sometimes I use ChatGPT, but I am am trying to grasp the entirety of the mod.
