Wonderful video. Very appropriate topic buddy. I don't think I have ever seen another detailer do a video related to restoring rubber trim. I gained yet another valuable tip from you based on this useful training topic. You are one of my favorite detailers on RUclips. Really nice content and I like your style of videos. You also give honest opinions of products which I appreciate as well. If it's junk, you say so. If it's a good product, you say so. I like that.

Joe Van Seeters thanks Joe. It makes me wonder about detailers that don’t have rubber trim restoration. Are they avoiding it? Do they just always slap a dressing on and just cover up the bad rubber? I thought it would be a good video plus I needed to fix my rubber window trim up. It’s holding up well. I’m very happy with the results of the 2 products SF & AW. Thanks for watching I appreciate it. Detail on!

@@DetailingBreakdown Hey Ben, check this out buddy. It's a review of CERAKOTE from "Attention 2 Details with Chelsea" channel. Chelsea is a detailer also and she posts a lot of good content on detailing products she uses in her own detailing business. I saw this one she did about CERAKOTE and thought you might want to give it a try someday when you have a car in for a trim restoration or detail or maybe you can try on one of your own vehicles someday. It looked like it did an incredible job. The only thing is that it looked a little "shinny", not the factory matte, but very dark, rich color. Cerakote is a "wipe" on type product like solution finish but comes in these small packets with wipes already pre-loaded with product. I believe she said she did about 7 passes total. She raves about this stuff and said she has "tried them all" including solution finish and she said NOTHING stands up to Cerakote so far in durability. She said she's gotten six months so far and it still looks like the day she put it on, so this stuff is DURABLE. Might be a "new favorite" for you if you get a chance to try it.

I've seen vids where after 6 mos, that ceramic looks bad. Just strips of shine and dull. Looks like cracks. Trying to decide if I'm just going to use wax.
Would have been nice, after putting that black treatment on it.....if he would have gotten much closer on the untreated next to the treated, because after wiping it off, they looked identical on video.
