As a English guy trying to date in the UK, it isnt easy, women rarely bother even speaking to me and it is very hard to fate outside of your social class, especially when you try and talk to the fake left wing, upper middle class hipster women, I think that they are probably pretty awful to date and you can smell the elitism.and stench of hypocrisy a mile off with those women!

yh dating in the UK is a shit in my experience and I don't know anyone that has a good dating experience apart from attractive guys that has more luck than average although average guys can still do it but its not much. It's just fucked man.

Well, then stay within your social circle. It's not about class but similar interests and experiences. If someone wants to talk politics and go skiing, they will look for a partner who's sharing these pastimes. Neither partner should 'date down' nor compromise their standards. After all, it's dating, not social service. Everyone has something to offer, it's just about finding someone to appreciate it. If it's not looks, it's banter and charm or intellect.

@lv834 Its not even intelligence, im from a poor background and have a degree, it is just that these women arenvery shallow and dont even see me as a human being if I dont have a posh accent.

@@rjflores438 A 'poor' or working-class background is not a deterrent. I can't speak for everyone, but among my peers, it's about as little as proper grammar and a modicum of eloquence, plus good manners. Let's not vilify one gender for having standards. If we put in the effort to better our chances in life, we expect the same of a partner, regardless of gender. As long as you can bring to the table what you are asking for, it shouldn't be a problem. With this expectation of reciprocity, I haven't witnessed a problem yet.

Disappointed at the bigotry of the guy who said don't date a Tory - I'm a Tory! Doesn't mean I like the government! Apparently it means I'm racist and just hate anyone not from Britain - the real biggots and racists are people who think in that way.

Hi, that'll be me. You continue to choose to vote for a terrible government so you are also part of the problem. Over a decade of austerity, and you still choose to vote for them... You call it bigotry, I call it not supporting a horrible, racist, sexist, classist etc etc etc. party. If that makes me a bigot then so be it

Being a Tory imo is a green flag not a red flag

I don't understand how being brain dead would be a green flag but if that's what you're into
