Its terrible whats happening to England and the rest of the U.K, towns and cities left to rot a decay, councils not given enough money to do the basics, like clean the streets and cut the grass. Its a absolute discrase that the politicians turn a blind eye, and pretend their doing a good job. The whole country needs overhauling and refurbishing, they done it before just after ww2 in a dire financial situation, they done it the 60's and 70's and f'ed it up but atleast they tried. They desperately need to find away to do it again now, because the problem isnt going to go away its going to get worse. This is meant to be G.B, they need to show a lot more pride in their country, from the smallest council estate to the biggest city.
@@Leojw10 Do you mean, but then London and the other decayed cities and towns in G.B, have to revive their high streets after the re development to make the economy of those towns and cities sustainable. The answer is yes, and its not easy, but they have to at least try in my opinion.
The problem is Councils spend money unchecked. Tower Hamlets brings in millions from Canary Wharf alone but there is so much waste on vanity projects that they need to strip it back to basics, focus on essential categories that need Money and deal with the basics of giving good support to life. If there is any money left then go and plant a tree or whatever nonsense wokery sucks cash from the basics. Councils act like small dictator states within a state. It all needs a complete overhaul. £42,855 - £46,053 for an Enforcement officer, this is basically a bod in a Uniform going around fining people for dropping a fag butt. A skilled job for sure paying skilled money, I might apply.

8:10 Mate, why should the government care more about your block than you do? I live in the suburbs. If things don't get done here for whatever reason, locals go out and pick litter or cut the grass themselves. It's even more like that in small villages. The state of a place reflects the people and how much they care. People in the ghettos always talk about how bad the area is, but then they contribute to it by perpetuating the same mindset and taking pride in being hood. Is it good or bad? If you do right and make some effort, don't give people respect for doing shady things, the area will slowly improve.
Yeah the government isn't the ones dumping trash. That's you and your neighbours doing that. Take some collective responsibility for making/keeping your neighbourhood a nice place and maybe it could actually BE a nice place. Always someone elses fault though.

I worked for 6 months on Tottenham high road in the tattoo shop. Was the best summer I had. All my clients were amazing and nothing can beat the vibe of Tottenham.
As someone who was a redhead kid, I don't think I would have thought the game "Knock down Ginger" would be as fun as old mate says. :P
I'm not a redhead, but his comment got me angry. What sort of person or group thinks that knocking down people is a game? Not the sort that should be living in the UK that's for sure. Disgusting individual.
Redheads don't qualify lol
Gingers are rarely targeted anyway, especially when my ginger friend was doing the knocking 😂
It's ringing doorbells and running away.
Think this was my suggestion, love that you actually went there 😂

Used to live there from 2013 till 2016 , first when I came to UK . Must say I still miss Tottenham, never been hustled , never had problems and as everyone says great community. Ofc if you look for trouble anywhere you will find it but for me that we're my first years in London and I loved it . Big up Tottenham
What a brilliant show, Jay is a star!
Me and my GF stepped into Seven Sisters one day, we both said can you feel the bad vibe, within an hour, it kicked off!!
Finalllly we been waiting
As someone whos lived there for 8 years, and im actually the age of all these people committing the crimes, i can confirm that it actually is THAT bad. I see all these videos saying that its all love and positivity when i know from experience its not
Thanks, some honesty, not all lovey-dovey bs
Sometimes people just go to work and come back home. They go out for drinks on the weekend and get a cab back home. Teenagers who grow up around there usually have a different perspective.

Exactly, it’s a fucking shit hole. I worked all over London sadly, I’m from idyllic rural Wales 🏴 and these areas are pure shit. I travelled in every week for 15 years solid, booked into a hotel, worked my business as a private security contractor and couldn’t wait for the weekend to get the fuck out with my pay packet. It’s a third world shit hole, run down by lowlifes. As long as I live, I’d never return except to make a ton of money.

Coming from the suburbs of Toronto and living in London was a wakeup call of what it is like to live in a large city with many pockets of poverty. Keep a low profile and be aware at night in some parts. You are more likely to get stabbed than shot like North American cities. Love the host of this channel a real natural and comfortable on the camera treating the people he meets with respect.
I used to work in social housing. The grass isn't cut because nobody want's to work and cut it. Just complain whilst the council pays the rent.
The more of these videos I watch, the more depressed I get. Really feels like this country is in the shit sometimes. Crummy looking streets, run down areas, loads of wannabe gangsters. Glad I have very little reason to go to London.
Anybody who lives near a city has at least driven/walked through a place like this before. It's nothing new and nothing exclusive to our country.
Pu$$y like you not welcome in London bruv, stay in your countryside.
what I find concerning is that all the people from the area seem to be saying it's a good place to live? I find that strange, do we have any standards these days?
@@annar6294 most people are always gonna have a soft spot for their home town, despite it's flaws. It could also be a coping mechanism, acting like things are better than they truly are.
no one wants to be a gangster people grow up in estates where theres murders and violence no one wants to be a wanna be
Its terrible whats happening to England and the rest of the U.K, towns and cities left to rot a decay, councils not given enough money to
do the basics, like clean the streets and cut the grass. Its a absolute discrase that the politicians turn a blind eye, and pretend their doing
a good job. The whole country needs overhauling and refurbishing, they done it before just after ww2 in a dire financial situation, they done
it the 60's and 70's and f'ed it up but atleast they tried. They desperately need to find away to do it again now, because the problem isnt
going to go away its going to get worse. This is meant to be G.B, they need to show a lot more pride in their country, from the smallest
council estate to the biggest city.
But then London and a few towns revive there high streets
@@Leojw10
Do you mean, but then London and the other decayed cities and towns in G.B, have to revive their high streets after the
re development to make the economy of those towns and cities sustainable. The answer is yes, and its not easy, but they
have to at least try in my opinion.
It was worse years ago !
The Problem is corruption
I've lived in Tottenham and it's place like any other in London. Croydon and Toothing was worse. Nothing crazy nor supper scary.

Broadwater Farm ain’t as dangerous as in 80s and 90s when the Jamaicans were running it. Still dangerous especially at night
Is it f*ck still dangerous at night. There's nobody about at night. Northumberland park area (where the chicken place was at the end of the video, but a further up a bit), is the only place you might (might, but not really) want to avoid at night. However, even that is pretty safe unless you walk around like an idiot.
