It’s true that there isn’t a lot of British food options, but there are so many good and great restaurants and international cuisines throughout the UK that you can’t find in many countries. For me, experiencing food from all over the globe in one place is much better rather than eating just one particular cuisines, because after a day or two you are already sick of their food in that country. It’s better to have different food varieties with different flavours, seasonings, textures, techniques of cooking. To have those options is real luxury to have. In Asia the food tastes good because Asian food uses a lot of MSG ( it’s an artificial food enhancer) to taste good and to make you addicted to it.

I am one of the people who have lived abroad and as a Muslim, it is very difficult. Many Muslims abroad live far away from the teachings of Islam. There is nothing to be proud of living abroad.

As a Malay, I strongly disagree when someone says Malays are polite and at the same time those words come from Malays themselves. For me good, bad and polite things come from the individual and maybe not because of the race. But for me, there is also a possibility or probability that the factor that makes someone polite and good is through the culture from their family, environment and religion that is taught to them. And this may happen to anyone even of different races. If anyone thinks that maybe the nation that is good and polite, try to look at the news and isn't the crime or bad morals committed by the so-called polite nation? So for me this is individual. So in conclusion, please stop claiming that you are a good or polite person.. Isn't claiming that you are good or polite is wrong and not taught by religion? 🙏🙏

When I visited Tokyo, we got on the train from Narita airport and were just chatting to each other. An older gentleman in the carriage, literally the first person who had spoken to us other than border control, said, "Excuse me, are from the UK?" It turned out he had lived and worked in Britain for 15 years. What are the odds?

I grew up in Whalley Range, Manchester and went to school in Moss side with loads of Caribbean people and there is nowhere in Europe like UK inner cities in terms of black/white positive race relationships/marriages for generations. I have many mixed race cousins and my children are also. Nowhere is perfect but I have thankfully been lucky enough to travel and live in Brazil, Thailand, UAE so feel I have a basis for comparison. In short, nowhere in Europe as integrated with black/white community as in the UK. Prove me wrong.

yeah as indonesian myself i admit that there's no privacy here, talking to everyone and become close friend with everyone even if it's just pretending is a norm here, the good side is you can ask for help to anyone and there's no racism, unfortunately indonesians is still discriminative to lgbtq community, norm comes first in indonesia and even if you don't practicing it you still can't show it in public

I'm a native and I never much liked fish and chips. The chips are always flaccid and mushy, and cod has to be the most bland and tasteless fish on the planet. It's a dish that absolutely could be done right, but the way most people seem to like it is crap.
