Merci ! 🍻
Indonesia is so diverse, as a "Bule" I agree, I have travelled to several islands but even in Java in city's like Yogyakarta and Jakarta they are far more diverse and less conservative than the ones interviewed, one of the best things about Indonesia is how easy it is to strike a conversation with different people of different backgrounds, they are much more tolerant and respectful than what the stereotypes give away online.
I would encouraged UK people to come to Indonesia because : 1. Indonesia goods price are way more cheaper almost on everything. 2. The weather is warm all years. 3. The local people are so friendly. 4. The foods are amazingly rich in taste, even in one dish. 5. The landscapes, the mountains, beaches, nature view are beautiful
Indonesia is not too conservative, you can choose the belief you want even when you apostatize from Muslim to Christian or even Buddhist there is no persecution everyone is free to choose Christian, Hindu, Buddhist or Confucian. If there is friction it is normal in a society even democracy, human rights and Islam can coexist well in Indonesia
Especially if someone is from Yogyakarta/Malang/Java in general like those in the video I find it weird for them to say they are much more conservative, some people are no doubt but Indonesia is one of the most chill places where there is tolerance and acceptance between the religions and different ethnic backgrounds as Indonesia is massive and vast.
Im indonesian, eat, breath, and live in indonesia, stop sugar glazing it... the islamist were so racist to the non muslim, they even fight (literally) another muslim in the different organization
True idk why she said that when infact Indonesia is semi-secular country 😅 conservative countries would be Saudi Arabia, Iran, Yemen, Pakistan but not Indonesia lol
@@nafislavigne indonesian is conservative about sexual life and sexual orientation, come ask any indonesian if they tolerated lgbtq or not, it's almost impossible to find anyone who answer yes, and despite everyone is free to have girlfriend and even have sex without marriege here you should keep it in secret otherwise the society might label you as bad people
I do enjoy your videos but was wondering if you could make a video talking about your own experiences in the UK mentioning how you personally find British people and their culture. Thanks! Happy New Year!
Have Indonesians often been mistaken for Malaysians, especially the pribumi Indonesians from Western and Central Indonesia mistaken for Malaysian Malays?
I had that experience being mistaken as Malay because I wear hijab, as Malay and Indo hijab are a bit similar. Sometimes, I have conversations with Malaysians just because we see each other and ask Indonesian/Malaysian.
@ArnaudFromFrance Do you like football? If yes, coming in March next year, Indonesia will play in the World Cup qualifiers in March against Australia away and Bahrain in Indonesia. Come here because football in Indonesia is very popular. There will be lots of RUclipsrs from various places. country will come to Indonesia when Indonesian VS Bahrain
